Hello aArtists!

It’s Saturday—time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 4.07.17 by 5:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: Each Saturday the AnnaTeam posts one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

This garden-themed design has a magical, organic feel that elevates nature into ART. The circular nature of the succulent is so mesmerizing—you’re instantly drawn into the layout. The stunning color palette, enhanced by varying shades of light and dark in the same color range, seems to blend into the photo itself. The exquisite, sinuous blending contributes to its hypnotic look. Subtle textures and organic elements encircling the photo not only complete the design, but also add the perfect earthy touch. I would love to have this art hanging on the wall in my dinning room.

IDEAS TO INSPIRE: Use one or more of the following in your AnnaLift Layout.
• Celebrate all the colors of spring by using a floral or garden theme.
• Create a layout that has a dramatic, riveting center photo, drawing or element.
• Try a monochromatic palette, using light and dark in the same color range to add depth.
• Use a horizontal design that flows from one side to the other.
• Embellish your design with earthy elements like leaves, flowers—anything natural.
• Add texture/gesso to emphasize the shape of your focal element.

Beautiful page to lift (as always). I took inspiration from the large centrally located masked area and outdoor theme with some green.
