It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 10.18.19 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: Each Saturday the AnnaTeam posts one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

Time by pam p

Subtle and sentimental accurately describes this week’s lift. At first glance, this art with its faded antiqued color looks like a heritage layout. And it is, but it’s so much more. It’s a testament to a time gone by and a statement on how valuable your time is. A photo of farmers of two farmers is nestled under a snippet of a post card hints of the “good ol’ days.” Muted colors of brown and beige with a hint of blush also add a vintage touch. The horizontal design with the timeline of dates itself suggests a flow of how days seem to blend together. Textures, stains and the horizontal lines of the fence in the photo move your eye slowly along the layout also simulating the passage of time. This very gifted artist has a unique talent in capturing the essence and sentiment of a photo in her stunning art. Her heritage-inspired homage to bygone days is a reminder to all of us that time is our most precious commodity.

• Create a design using the theme of “time.” Or create a heritage-inspired layout.

• Add a date and/or WordArt about time.
• Use texture to add dimension to your layout.
• Accent with splatters, stains and transfers

Bit of an interpretation in this lift...time is expressed in the lyrics of the song "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, which was the song chosen by my daughter for our aisle walk. And what's more heritage than a wedding!
These photos were taken by my sister-in-law.
