It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 07.26.19 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.

HOW IT WORKS: Each Saturday the AnnaTeam posts one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Then enjoy artfully playing—there is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay.

Choose ONE idea to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. Be inspired, create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. It would be great if you could link back to your page in the gallery too!

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

Holiday Feelings by Nia

Cheery and comforting completely describes this week’s lift. An appealing still life of cups, a whipped-cream topped cappuccino and several books is centered on a white background. While this art appears to portray a winter holiday, its theme is universal. After all, a holiday can simply be savoring a yummy cappuccino while reading your favorite book, taking a break from the demands of everyday life, enjoying your favorite things. The color scheme of navy blue and red is naturally charming while the blue outline contains the design and supplies the perfect amount of dimension. A clever use of a lace element mimics a whipped topping and adds a touch of whimsy. This talented artist always dazzled us with her technical skills but she also delights us with her cheerful and charming celebration of favorite things. Now, excuse me as I’m off the coffee shop with my new library book in tow…

IDEAS TO INSPIRE: Use ONE or MORE of the following in your AnnaLift layout.
• Showcase two or more of your favorite things—people, pets, book, flowers—anything that’s special to you.
• Create or use a center focal image, photo, or illustration.
• Leave plenty of “white space” in your design.
• Try a neutral background and add some splashes of color.
• Describe your favorite thing using an interesting font.
• Experiment with using an element in an unusual way.
