June Challenge #3 - Heritage

Well-Known Member

All members that participate, can everyone PLEASE ensure that you read all the rules for this challenge so that you can claim your challenge points. Thank you! :)

Welcome to the June Heritage Challenge. I think that in all the years I've been hosting challenges at Oscraps, this is the first time I've hosted the Heritage Challenge. This is a fairly easy challenge but if you've participated in other challenges I've hosted, you know there is going to be a twist.

Here's what you need to to do. First, the photo(s) must be at least five years old. (So 2016 or older.) Second, you must include the date on the layout. Third, and here's the twist, at least half the colors used on the page must be something other than brown, creme, black, white, gold or silver. You can use brights, you can use dark colors, you can use pastels. That is up to you. They just need to be at least half the color on the page.

This was the perfect excuse to scrap a wedding photo. In August, we'll be married for 20 years.

- Scrap a photo(s) from 2016 or older, include the date on the page and use colors other than brown, creme, black, white, gold or silver for at least half the page.
- Please use 80% Oscraps products that are currently in the store.
- Non-Oscraps products or retired O designer products can be used whether the designer is selling elsewhere or not.
- You need to credit all the products used on your layout.
- Your layout can not be used for more than one challenge.
- Your page must be posted in the Challenge 3 gallery by midnight PST June 30 2021 and linked back to this thread (see below on how to add your linked layout).
- And do not forget to update the CURRENT MONTH'S TRACKING THREAD to be eligible for your coupon.

I can't wait to see what y'all create!

Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

These are all so awesome! Love what y'all are doing.

(Sorry for the short absence. One of my dogs has decided they do not believe in sleeping at night. Leaves me very sleepy during the day. lol)

Thanks for the challenge, Cindy. My page shows Ebony, born in 2003 and gone in 2018 and still in our hearts.
