I am very excited to start out 2022 hosting the Artsy/Mixed Media challenge because I LOOOOVE pages with lots of paint, gesso and blending. For 2022, I want y'all to love them too. That's why I am making this challenge an easy one.
The theme for this page can be anything you want. An artsy page is a great chance to scrap your word of the year for 2022. Make a list of those resolutions that will be abandoned before this challenge is over. Create an uplifting message for yourself. Maybe you just need to release some of the stress you are feeling. Artsy pages are good for all of this. There are just two little things I need you to do.
One, you need to fill your page with artsy elements. I want to see your page filled with brushes, paint splats, overlays, textures, painterly styles, gesso etc. This is not a challenge where you can put a couple of paint splats behind a photo and be done. Your page should be filled with artsy goodness. Two, your page must include some gesso. Gesso is included in lots of kits but if you don't have any, here a chance to add some to your stash.
