so, when I was thinking of challenges for my spotlight; I thought about 'Home is where the Heart is' and then i realised on of my favourite places in the house is the craft room. Therefore this thread; Home is where your ART is.

I'm really curious to see where you create? Where do you scrap, do you have a special craft room? I'll be back with pictures of our craft room (need to clean it up firsthwell

i work at a computer i share with my son (who has first dibs because of a special video card he installed that is used for gaming)

I'm feeling rather happy with my studio space these days, especially with six pieces in our group show that opened last night. So, I went ahead and scrapped a photo of the area.

You are so lucky to have a special room for your craft works!

Apart from the computer for digital scrap, when I want to do some handycrafts I have to use the dinner table... which means that I can't eat on it for a few days, lol.

Adryane - I use my parents computer to design, so have to share with them and my brother. I do have my own laptop with programs, but that aren't the versions of photoshop I'm most used to.

Jean - That looks like a great place to great. Awesome layout!

Sabine - Although we have a craftroom, the dinner table is also often used to create. Especially if I'm home alone, then I'd like to work downstairs so I can easil switch to the computer

Here is my room, it is my sanctuary!! I love it because I can see my backyard garden from one window and the mountains from the other. On the one side of my room is my large craft table where I do my painting and on the other side is where all my paints and brushes and various books and magazines are kept. I am a very lucky lady!!

No room for me, but space which I have to clean up for I dare to share with you! But ladies you all has amazing crafty rooms!

I have a few craft spaces, will have to get some pics...they are messy, but some of my crafts are messy, like my painting and mosaics

okay so still no picture of the entire room. Cleaning up became complete reorganisation and the floor/table is now even worse.. but here are some close ups of what you can find in our craft room

that looks well organised Maya.
I craft in a static caravan- we have left the bedrooms-kitchen-showerroom so the kids can stay there when they come on holiday) but the rest has been stripped out.
I'll try and make photos tomorrow. My digital crafting happens in the kitchen in the house ( as does my knitting and crochet)

No wonder your inspiration is fully packed!

my designs space is the diner table, that we are NOT using I wish I could get rid of the TV and put up some kind of private desk tho.
But at least have have space to open magazine and my idea-doodle-and-all-kind-of-stuff-notebook all around me lol
