I met someone new today at a neighbour's house and in conversation it came up that they don't watch tv. Doesn't even own one.

Mind blown. Seriously. I asked what they did to not be bored lol

So it made me think - maybe I'm not in the norm watching so much tv (nightly, while I scrap). Do you watch TV?

Every darn night. I used to prefer reading to TV but after dinner, TV is pretty much all my brain can handle. #sleeping

I watch the local late afternoon news to find out about the fires/weather. I will watch a movie DVD 1-2 a week but that is about all the TV watching I do. I would rather read a book.

I haven't owned a TV in fifteen years or so. I like ACORN and BritBox and watch some of their shows on my PC. I'd really rather read. ♥

I rarely watch TV; perhaps a couple of times a month, unless I'm keeping up with a series, like Outlander that just finished, or Survivor. I don't know why I'm paying for Disney+, I almost never turn it on!

TV is such a big part of my daily life that I cannot imagine not watching or having one. I had a convo yesterday with a friend, asked what shows she watches and she only watches a few cooking shows and the news. I was stumped...what???? no L&O, NCIS, Blacklist, GA, New Amsterdam....to name a few. I just sort of said "huh" and then changed the subject :)

It's pretty much always on around here. Usually for background noise.
It's always on here too - first thing hubby does in the morning and last thing he does at night. Just background noise!

This is SO weird! My DD's best friend from Jr. High is visiting for 2 weeks and she has NO idea what we're talking about when we talk about shows we're watching. They never watch TV! We went out yesterday and were so excited when we found $10 T-shirts from Yellowstone and my DD, my GD and I bought 3 each - "Don't Make Me Go Beth Dutton on You" and 2 that had "Rip" sayings on them. We were hooting and hollering and her bff says "what are you guys even talking about?" We said "Yellowstone" and she said "we never watch TV.

IMHO: Best invention EVER (over airplanes and automobiles, fast food and vaccines)-- the DVR!

We watch TV/streaming every night and I love being able to record shows. I get panic attacks when I think back to 1995-6 when I was pregnant and had my OB/GYN appts Thursday nights. It was always a race back to home before Friends started at 8 pm LOL

since cutting hte cord can no longer record shows , which i do miss as if there is something on i want to see during the day i have to be home to watch it live. but for the most part is has not been too much of a problem and one of my fave shows is ending next week which can only be watched live- the ellen show. even kelly's show can be watched on free peacock.

I watch way too much TV. I love reading but by the time I have finished a long day of work, I just don’t have the energy for anything other than TV. Tonight the penultimate (I love that word) episode of This Is Us is on. But I hate the eastern time zone for TV and may stream it tomorrow instead.
Being on vacation caused me to miss lots of shows and I’m now catching up Slowly. I do love that about streaming!
