Interesting that you do both. I saw in the Daily O's that you are checking out your rolling suitcase for your camera...so I'm guessing that must be for your polar bear adventure.I use all my cameras, including my iphone, it just depends on the situation. Nothing beats the convenience of the iphone and the newer phones take good photos. I often go out with one of my digi cameras but pull out my phone for a quick closeup or landscrape shot. When travelling I often about an equal number of pics on a digi camera and iphone.
Now that is committed to not having a camera. I don't even remember the last time I used mine...so I am kind of committed. Didn't even take it to Alaska on the cruise in '24.I haven't owned a camera in 15 or so years... iphone all the way!
Interesting. I have been frustrated recently because my phone doesn't seem to recognize my hands as well. Duh, now I'm putting that together with my cold hands. I never used to have cold hands.Since my fingers are cold all the time... I have to use a stylus on my phone..(or any touch screen). So I use my camera to take photos. I am not the only one with the cold fingers... the Senior Citizen Center has a stylus on a string attached to their Sign-in touch screen. Guess the cold fingers happen as we get older...![]()
I think it is the ease of use with my phone and how small and light weight that causes me to just grab for it.I use my phone. My CMT affects my dexterity and my thumb is useless most days but especially if I get cold. Like Kay, things dont work well when cold. I have been known to use my nose to click the buttonBut I use my phone since it is lighter and always with me. I cant hold the camera still as its heavy.
