Do you scrapbook your cookies?

Let me tell you something... I've been coming here to Oscraps for so many years now that your love of scrapbooking has rubbed off on me. So now I am a part-time scrapbooker.

I had this brilliant idea to combine my two passions: cookies and scrapbooking! Every year, Mrs. Claus bakes the cutest gingerbread families, and I’m thinking of making a cookie-themed scrapbook. But here’s the thing... the cookies keep disappearing before I can photograph them! (Totally not my fault. They smell so good...)

So, I need your creative brains:
- How do I stop myself from eating the photo props?
- What’s the best way to make pages smell like fresh-baked cookies without gluing actual crumbs? (I thought I'd make a hybrid page - trust me, that was a disaster...)
- Would it be too much to make gingerbread-scented ink?

P.S. Do you think Santa would notice if I scrapbooked his cookie plate instead of delivering it? Asking for a very hungry elf.

Oh, I absolutely scrap my cookies. Looks like we have a lot in common, Buddy!

I'm not sure about gingerbread-scented ink, but one way to make sure you get cookie photos to scrap is to compliment Mrs Claus on her cookies and ask her to take a photo of you eating them. This way you'll get to have your cookie and eat it too.

I always scrap my baking!!! And the kids are NOT allowed to eat the gingerbread trains we make until 12-24 so I have time to photograph them to scrap. The best way to get photos is to take them while baking. The whole process. Snap then eat LOL

We've baked walls and roof for a gingerbread house a number of times... but I don't think we've ever got to the assembly part... lol...
