Oscraps

Do you print your scrapbook pages

I scrap 8.5 x 11 and print them on my own printer, then put the pages in clear 3-ring protectors. I put them in nice 3-ring binders (from Staples). I used to use Persnickety Prints, which I loved, but I found a printer (Epson ET-2550) that uses "wells" of ink (comes in bottles) instead of cartridges, so the ink is MUCH less expensive, and lasts W A Y longer! I buy my photo paper from Red River Paper (online), and the page protectors from Costco. The only issue I had to overcome is that this printer will not bleed (print to the edge). I have to allow for a shy 1/4" white border around each page. Not my first choice, but I'm willing to live with it.

Thank you. I used to have an Epson printer but the print heads are no good anymore and the Epson paper is so expensive. I need to try red river paper too...

I also use a provider mostly CEWE
photo quality - lying flat - so I can run through pictures on the two pages

I scrap too many pages to want to print them out anymore (used to send to Costco, Persnickity or locally at Kerrisdale Camera) but do love photobooks from Blurb.I used to print on my large format Epson which was convenient to print at home but not very cost efficient.

Nope, too expensive for my pocketbook. I think my true love is just simply sitting at my computer and designing a page. I have file folders for each member of my family plus misc. subjects that I scrapbook. My kids know how to get to these folders so they know that once I am gone (but plan to live to be one hundred!!!):peace: they can get at the folders and print out any layouts they want. I will do the layouts, they can pay for the printing!!!
