Do you have a personal "theme song"?

I've had a couple, but the first time I heard the song "You Only Get What You Give" by The New Radicals, this has been mine. It's commonly called "Don't Give Up" and this band was from the Detroit area, where we lived and they were pretty much a "one hit wonder".

Tim and I had "Cherish is a Word" by Chicago. Mark and I don't listen to music much because of the constant ringing in his ears.
Oh, that's a good one, Vicky! Sorry you don't listen to music now because of Mark's ringing ears. Mine ring all the time, too, but I still listen - I try to drown it out. Haha

If and when we do listen, he has to have it so loud (to drown out the ringing) that I can't stand it!

Great song Cheryl! Love it!

I guess I have two - 3AM by The KLF, because that's when we get up to work. (I saw something on Facebook about how people who are early risers make it their 'whole personality' and I felt personally attacked LOL). ;)

My other is "Look What You Made Me Do" (I don't trust nobody ...) . Although you have to listen to the moody version by Jack Leopards - it's amazing.

I'll have to listen to yours, Lynn. I started to post the video to mine, but it was a tad "crazy" so I deleted it. I love the meaning behind MY song, but the video was kind of violent. I get the "feeling personally attacked" - I'm a terrible night owl because I have sleep disorder and I get guff for that all the time.

I just watched both of these videos and added them to my playlist. I'd jam that 3 AM every morning!!

Much to much, Cheryl!

Of course "Music" by John Miles
To start the day in a good mood "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd (in my car extremely loud - lol)
I love the Rainman soundtrack by Hans Zimmer
As a teenager in the 70's I grew up listening to very good English and American rock music. I will always be a fan of "Sweet Child in Time" or "Lady in Black" and many, many other good bands as well. I get goose bumps with the soundtrack "A Star is born" by Lady Gaga "Always remember us this way". And the last one, not to bore you, "What a Fool believes" by The Doobie Brothers. I translate most of the lyrics, others I love because of their rhythm.

OHHHHH, lots of GREAT songs here, Susanne and you could NEVER bore me with songs - I LOVE music - it's a huge part of my life. I've always identified with "Bye Bye Miss American Pie" by Billy Cassidy is a song that I really relate to. "When I stop loving music - when the music dies - I'm in deep trouble.

I need to look up "Music" by John Miles - I've probably heard it, but I must check it out.

Susanne @Su_Sanne is "Music" by John Miles possibly this one? Because if it is, this is one of my new theme songs.

WOW...I love how he goes through the different genres of music in this song!! Awww, it looks like he passed away a year, or so, ago :( I am going to look into more of his music. It isn't my usual style, but that is what I love about it! Very cool...Thank you to Susanne for introducing us to this!! :beatingheart:
