Do you choose a word to focus on each year?

I don't do resolutions at the start of a new year, but I do like to have some goal to focus on. So, I usually pick a word that represents how I want to approach things.

My word this year came to me out of the blue, while cleaning up my little studio/office! You can read all about it in my blog post here — and at the end, I've got a link to another post with a fun way to select a word, if that's been something you're been considering!

I'd love to know what your word is!

Awesome blog post, Vicki. I don't do resolutions, or lists. I used to, but broke them before Feb, so gave up on doing that. I like the idea of a word, although I really haven't chosen one for this year. I may borrow yours, as bend really suits my life as well. Thanks so much for the inspiration. ♥
 
Sounds a bit strange maybe! But my word is ME!!! I haven't been into ME for a while caring for so many people! I will try to go from the survive modus to more ME modus!
 
The word I ended up with was "Believe" following your blog post. That will be hard for me in 2025, unless I take it in a negative direction. I did like the idea of "funstoppable" which was the first thing I saw before closing my eyes.

Doesn't sound strange to me at all! If you don't take care of yourself, there'll be nothing else left of you to help others!! Great choice!

think you already know we're of the same mind ... and I think "funstoppable" is super cute!! I didn't see that one at all!!!
 
I've been doing One Little Word for a few years now... this year my word is LET - as in let it be, let go, let them figure it out, let time pass, let the universe work its magic...

I like that too! I'm about to start a book by Mel Robbins called "Let Them"!
