What wonderful advice!I do not always put a title on my page either. I may title it when I post it in the gallery, but a lot of my pages do not contain a title. Sometimes the word strip or word art I use is enough to be "my title". The pages are yours so do what makes you happy.
The only time I would say you need to have a title is if you are doing a challenge and one of the requirements calls for a title. Enjoy and make pages you love
I always feel the need to have one but sometimes my pages are so full of other things that I feel I am squeezing a title in where it will fit.Titles are the hardest part for me. I do have a title most of the time.
I LOVE word art!Usually I title it...sometimes I use the word art to do that. But once in awhile, I let the layout stand on its own!
That is so true! Sometimes I think of a title and realize I have already used that title for another layout. It's hard to always think of something that is creative and goes with the photos.I think sometimes it is really difficult to find a title, especially when the picture speaks for itself. Unfortunately, I can't think of anything appealing either. I think that's a pity, because on some layouts there are short, concise titles that make you laugh, think or cry.
I love to find word art that fits my layout! It takes the stress out of thinking of a title or repeating myself! No, I don't. I use word art a lot and often don't feel like I need a title, especially on an Art Journaling style page, which I create a lot of.
That is a perfect approach--to use it as another decorative element! I do love to find fonts that seem to go with the layout.titles are always very important to me. It's sort of a "catchword" for my layout - it should briefly and concisely describe my thoughts on it
I try to use the title as another "decorative element" in the layout
I like that! It’s a page and not a book!i use wordart or wordstrips, sometimes just a line of journaling on my pages and don't see that as a title.
for me a layout does not really need a title, it is a page not a book?
I know what you mean by reusing titles! One will catch in my brain and I find I'm using it over again!Depends what you mean by title... I make a lot of double pages and a companion page doesn't always need a title... that said, I usually have some sort of wordart on a page and it could be used as one... sometimes, I would use a title when I post in the gallery, but will delete it when preparing the pages for the album. Same goes for dates - I make yearly albums so I wouldn't need the year on every date and every page...
But I struggle making my own titles - 'September at home' or 'Kids together' can only be used that many times... ha ha..
I feel the same way!If I don't put a title on it, then it's like I'm "missing" something. Although I sometimes have trouble finding a good spot on a design.
