dead birds in our garden

I find a lot of dead birds (mainly greenflies, and today a great tit) in our garden.
I don't know what to do, I suspect there is a bird disease. I already called the bird sanctuary but I had an answering machine there. I think it's such a shame, and so pathetic almost every day i find a dead bird.
I think there were about 20 greenflies, and a lot of sparrows, but also a couple of great tits with 2 young birds.
If it continues like this, there won't be much left...

Sadly, I heard about this happening in the North Eastern US as well. I seriously hope this isn't some harbinger of bad things for 2021 But, one article I read said maybe it has something to do with the cicada's and maybe they are 'poison' from living in the ground and being in contact with pesticides and other chemicals.

I also fear that it is due to chemicals, and not from our garden because we are really against that. I'm going to call the bird shelter again tomorrow and hopefully I'll know more about that
