Good am - we decided not to go to the waterfalls I am just too lethargic with the heat to want to hike - I know shame on me. Just going to veg and watch tv - the Tour de France and Wimbledon. Yesterday was the first day that free agents in hockey could sign with a new team. NJ Devils David Clarkson decided to sign with his home team Toronto Maple Leafs - but for once I dont care as I really like the new signings that came to my team. Did take a good walk late yesterday evening. Went to lunch with my girlfriend who had Friday off and that was fun. Not much else going on.

Phylis enjoy the pizza and glad you are rain free.

Laurie enjoy your day and hope the rain is not too bad.

Trudy saw the B&B and it looks very cute!

Have a great day!

Phylis - I went out to pull some weeds in the mist and fed the mosquitos- we seem to be in that not rainy now and not sunny weather- too wet to finish mowing the lawn. The sun came out for a bit yesterday and I actually got a sunburn mowing the lawn. Oh well. I did manage to scrap a layout- so the day is not lost!!

Morning ladies, its another beauty of a day here on the Island! MG and I are just heading out to have coffee on the deck and soak up some rays before it get too warm. He is cooking breakfast this morning on the BBQ, love that man!!

Laurie - Sorry that your weather is not great, but at least you get to play in your craft room today! I woke up this morning with a large mosquito bite on the back of my neck, not sure when I would have gotten it, perhaps one was in our room last night

Phylis - So happy that you are finally getting some much needed sunshine my friend!! Enjoy your pizza today, too bad they are moving to a smaller place, but at least they are not closing altogether!! MG and I had pizza last night for supper along with a nice cold canadian beer yummmmm!! Enjoy your day today!

Nancy - Crazy trades going on yesterday, my TSN app on my phone was sending out notices all day long!! Not too happy about losing Horton and Sequin, now hubby will have to replace two of his hockey jerseys :becky: I got him Patrice Bergeron while I was in Ontario for his father's day gift, so at least he can wear that one and his Lucic one too.
I wonder if there is a way to get the numbers and names changed on a jersey?

Well hubby is waiting to go out to the deck so I will put on some fresh coffee and get the bacon and eggs out for him. Off to the hairdresser this morning too to get my mop of a hairdo fixed up and cover all the grey. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!! Do something you love!

Hi my lovelies!!! I missed you all! Its early on Sunday morning but I am already 2 cups of coffee down and one kid off with friends LOL
Cait is off to Warped Tour- all day/night music festival, way bigger than the one she went to last month. Please let there be no punched faces and bloody noses like last time. ha!!!

I was a total slug while I was in PA. I didn;t do any sit ups, or walk or *anything* I just sat on my butt and read. I was feeling pretty darn Lyme-sick so that was all I really could do. The book I was reading was the one Cait just finished for school and told me I had to read it. It was about 2 teenagers with cancer. Made me feel pretty lousy for complaining about Lyme, for sure. But a great book none the less. The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green Seriously beautifully written, very existential, read it, but have tissues!

Hope that all of you have been doing great- weather here has been dry and HOT and humid. I am off to the lake this afternoon. I bet it will be crowded.

And now I am off to catch up on all of my laundry....

xoxoxoxoxo!!!

good morning - I say yes to a joint walk with all! I have a Laurie and Chris so sweetly put it also being a slug until the sun goes down. Then I go for my walk. The route to our local fireworks goes through a wooded area long the River and on the way home there were hundreds of fireflies. So last night my DH came with me to try and get photos of the fireflies. Well I dont know how to do it. I did long exposures and had the tripod but still did not work well. Not sure what I expect LOL. It was a good walk though. Now this am I am watching the Tour again. Hopefully this is the last of the 90 degree days - I am ready now for the heat wave to be over.

Chris so glad you had fun reading in PA. Enjoy the lake!

Trudy yes Free Agent Frenzy was pretty exciting. My Devils lost David Clarkson but I am too upset about it as my favorite player Patrick Elias was resigned and we also signed Ryane Clowe, Michael Ryder and R. Olesz. They should help with scoring and then I have some AHL kids who should help defense and offense. Looking forward to a full 82 game season. I am surprised by how much change Boston went through. Cracks me up that Iginla is now a Bruin. And about numbers and names I know at the Rock they have two stores that will put new names on Jerseys so perhaps you will have to make the journey to Boston and they will fix your main man's jersey! And wow I am totally impressed by how many he has. I just have my Patrick Jersey and I am lucky as it is signed by him.

Phylis I can see all of us standing by the road hitch hiking! The thought makes me smile!

Have a great day all!

Morning lovely ladies... I am busy this morning making a seven layer salad and getting the house vacuumed before heading to my brother's place. He lives on the river and has a beautiful spot where we can go tubing down the river. I doubt we will do that until August as the the water is still pretty cool and these old bones don't like that cold water anymore. :becky: will try to get some photos today to share. My cousin and his wife will also be there and we have not seen them for a couple of years, so it will be great to catch up on things! Sorry no personals today, I have to get my butt moving and get everything done before it gets any hotter outside. I love you all and will be a much better CheeryO tomorrow!!
