Just a quick note to let you know that I am pretty sure the 'sore throat' was allergies. Woke up with it feeling much better. Been busy scrapping this morning. Just had to play in Challenge #1 - Color Play. Realized that a photo of DD#1 (taken at DD#2's wedding) had the perfect colors to go with Natalie's "End of Summer - Color Play". Whoo-whee!

It is a beautiful day with cool breezes - only 69*F at 10 AM!!! We had rain last night and more is expected this afternoon - evening. Yes, there is a hint of fall in the air. I have to get the estimated taxes checks mailed today. So this is short and sweet.

Now you gals can get rowdy while Chris is away but remember we have to get everything cleaned up before she comes back. :D

Thanks for starting the thread, Kay! SO happy that you found the perfect picture! I saw a few of your pages on FB but not sure I saw that one. It's 83 here - ugh - can you send us some of your cool weather? It IS cooler though - it gets so nice at night now. I went outside and worked in the back late yesterday afternoon. I'm cleaning the back patio now - it's very stained from the summer, as well. I pulled up the dead flowers that weren't perennials and got rid of some other stuff - mainly my herbs - most of them are not perennials. I gathered the last bits for my dehydrator. My front gardens still look beautiful - they didn't fry in that awful head like the back did. They're only in the sun for part of the day. I'm not doing anything to my flowers out there yet. They're still growing.

I need to do some CT work - this month is nearly half over already.

I'm planning to go back out and work again today - I want to see if the stain remover worked. I sprayed it on the spots and left it overnight. SO much stuff to do in the fall.

Hello to all to come later on.

Have to play while Chris is away! I was at a Zoom session this morning and then will do the senior center genealogy group in an hour in person. Seems like there is always something. Weather has been quite chilly so it feels very fall.
Wishing everyone a good day!

Good morning ladies. Hope Chris is having a good time with her mom. I was out for the afternoon yesterday, running errands and took Remi to the park. It was the most energy I've had since covid and driving was good (no dizziness). Yay. I was tired and had to rest in the late afternoon when I got back but was up for dinner and had a good crockpot dish (keto crack chicken). The evenings are still spent laying on the couch watching shows with D. No energy to scrap or get on the computer much at night but that's ok, scrapping time is now morning and afternoon is resting, errands and chores with TV time after dinner while I lay down. That is a schedule I'm happy with as I recover.

I'm excited for Handmaid's Tale to return tonight (first 2 episodes). We'll watch that after dinner.

The weather has cooled off today, it's in the 60's with a light rain off and on. It feels good after the heat and smoke we've had in our area lately. The fires hopefully will benefit from the rain, just hope no thunderstorms.
