I started to vote, no rest for the wicked, but you aren't wicked! Even though I voted no, I hope it was a yes!I have a poll for you-- tell me what you think.
I'll answer in the next post.
I did yoga in the morning, does that count as a "relax day?"
Other than that, I am not sure what I did but I think I moved non-stop until dinner.
We are rehearsing the ceremony in my backyard so I needed to trim back the forsythia and deadhead some of the very scraggly plants. The yard is looking rough with most of the flowers spent and brown. Not much I can do about that. I also tidying up inside, yet again, and will finish the floors today. I had to wash all of the cleaning clothes yesterday so I had the one for the mop ready. Pizzas for tomorrow night are ordered, checked in with Scott about the leftover seltzers/hard ciders from the bachelorette party. Ended up having a touching conversation with him (Have I told you how much I love my kids? Only a few gazillion times? Bwuahahah!). Paid a few more bills-- my bank was taken over by another this past weekend so it's been a "process" getting everything straight for the online bill pay and updating the routing numbers and all that. I haven't been having trouble but it is taking me more time than normal.
Today is another rundown of *stuff*-- vacuum and mop the floors, get all of the paper goods ready, and run to the liquor store for some beer. Oh-- and the grocery store for OJ. Caitlyn and Tom paid the balance of the reception last night and the owner is giving us a complimentary bottle of prosecco in the bridal suite. Caitlyn likes mimosas and it's probably a good idea to not start drinking at 9 am unless it is watered down with juice

A favor to ask--- We need some "Bouquet get here on time" vibes from you all, please! It's been floating around in Teterboro for a few days and need to get up here ASAP!

I'm some better, but still not great. I'm not sleeping very well at night, even with my usual night time routine of Tylenol pms and sleepy time tea. Restless tossing and turning, coughing, stuffy nose, runny nose (how does that happen??), DH poking me to roll over because I'm snoring.......the list goes on and on! I got up this morning because I could've sworn I heard the Messenger notification go off on my phone. But it had not, so I decided to just stay up.
At least I was able to get caught up on my daily ATCs yesterday, which have not been too daily of late. I still have 3 more to do in this batch of 9 before I will be posting them, however.
I need to run to Kohl's to pick up a couple of items I ordered last week.....if I get up enough strength to actually get a shower this morning. We shall see how I feel in an hour or so.

Funny story.....since we ended up getting married at the courthouse way before the wedding was planned, we decided to do a re-enactment at the reception on the date the wedding was supposed to be. Once both of my sons took my arms to walk me down the aisle, the bouquet was forgotten! I didn't even remember it until we were cleaning up! But I cherish that picture of both sons walking me down the aisle with smiles on their faces! The one on my right is my second child and the one on my left is the baby, #4.
So exciting! I hope you and your girls have a wonderful time!

She actually ordered her bouquet last Black Friday. But after she changed her mind and wanted Sam and Jen as bridesmaids, she needed flowers for them. The colors in her bouquet didn't exactly match the altar swag so she ordered a second one with the idea that the OG bouquet can be taken apart and used for the bridesmaids. None of this is end-of-the-world stuff but I know she would like to have the bouquet here especially since it was supposed to be here on Monday. The same thing happened with my order for her wedding present-- bounced around a sorting facility for a few days.
(sorry, I know I am rambling LOL)

All this wedding talk- I had so much fun prepping for our daughter and son's weddings... I made so much stuff so was in my glory. Then DD asked me to walk down the aisle with her also, so hubby and walked our daughter down the aisle together. Then she said..gee Mom I should have asked you to be my maid of honor as you are my best friend.
sorta glad I didn't have to do all that too.

I agree with you.....you would've probably blubbered the whole time you stood there with her! I know I would have! It would've been hard enough to walk down the aisle with her!
Awake before dawn. UGH! Knew I couldn't fall back asleep so got up. Thank heavens for coffee... Not sure the brain is completely awake yet...

I need to run the errands today that I was too tired to do yesterday. Going to be another HOT DAY... high 80's - 90's so need to get them done during the morning time. Waiting to get the Rx sent to the base... been almost a week since I asked for it to be sent so sent another message yesterday to the doctor saying I would be out of those meds in the next couple of weeks. Glad I didn't wait to ask for it until the last minute...
Off to get dressed and have some breakfast... then off and running. HAGD

Morning ladies... it is pouring rain, so no hike for me today 
. I am a fair weather hiker and I don't want to do that drive to go for a hike in rain. Oh well perhaps it will clear up in the afternoon and I will get out for a long walk with SIL Linda. We have a wonderful out door track here where we live, so we might try that out, its got a nice cushy walking track and we have wanted to go there for some time now. It took me a good portion of the day, but I did get a layout done yesterday and will post it to the gallery this morning. Perhaps a good day to try to get another one done, not much else to do. I do need to look at booking our flights to Ottawa for Christmas, so hope to find some kind of a good deal out there.

Just got a txt from SIL Linda, her first husband (whom was not a nice person, long story!) passed away in the hospital last night. She has not had anything to do with him for many, many years, but I do feel sorry for their two boys. She has asked that we go for a long walk later on today. Ok I guess I better get going with my day. HAGD everyone!

This afternoon and a wake up...then a flight to Cleveland for the Rod Stewart/ Billy Joel concert. I'm excited to see my daughter, daughter in law and granddaughter then Saturday will see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with them...it is such a cool place they l will love it.. I will not be taking my laptop or iPad so will be MIA till Monday.

Love all the wedding talk. All those precious memories and relationships. Mine was a different experience. This was in the "hate mom" phase and so I'm really loving all the memories here and the stories of closeness.
Vicky @vickyday you looked beautiful in your wedding dress escorted by the boys. So precious.
Today is a crazy Wednesday AKA a normal Wednesday for school year. Will be leaving soon to shop then prep then cook for apex 150 people. Its raining. So its perfect that beef stew is planned. I have extra help this year which is amazing. Chiropractor told me "you stood a lot didn't you" yeah, just 8 hours that's all. Wish I could go every week on Thursday. My neck and shoulders hurt this time though like he aligned things but the muscles were so tight and unaligned that its hurts to be right. Its muscle tightness which I am sure is part stress too.
Off to get more coffee. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

You'd better have a backup plan - are there any flowers still growing outside? Got ribbon? You might have to make a bouquet at the last minute. I'm not putting that out there to the universe, though.
You'll have a wonderful, memorable day - just trust that. Steph's wedding was in the evening and we had the whole thing at the same venue - Sanibel Country Club. We told the kids that they couldn't start drinking before dinner, but here came her MIL and grabbed me and said "They're drinking!". I distinctly remember going in and telling them to knock it off - and reminding them we had a long evening ahead of us. Then Kathy (MIL) and I went and each of us had a big glass of wine.
We were laughing so hard. Fortification.
Well, I haven't done too much today. Very tired again - two nights of being at Adrienne and Roger's house until pretty late. Last night was really late.

Yes, that would be WAY too hard to type - WAY to hard. When a package gets lost we say "It's lost in the black hole of the Dollins Ranch". It shows up eventually - but we're not very patient.
My only "excitement" for today was that Daisy got out. My little runner. I saw Drake's truck parked near my house and I had some stuff for him to get rid of that was outside in the back. Well, I didn't get my kitchen door shut tight and that stinker slipped out and took off. That little stinker saw her opportunity and away she went. I heard Chuck's voice in my ear "she'll come home when she's hungry". Pretty soon, my front door opened and it was Drake with Daisy. He said "I didn't think you let her run". I told him that I did not and if he ever saw her running, to please catch her and bring her home. While he was here, I gave him a Diet coke and he sat for a few minutes and drank it. He's working for Roger now and he had been out weed whacking and I could tell he was hot and tired. I don't drink Diet Cokes, but I always keep a good supply for the kids, especially when they're out working in the heat. So, the Little Runner is home.
