Hey there, Ooos! Hope everyone is having a fabulous day so far.
I have good news and not-so-good news. The good part is that the weather is warmer and I can see sections of my lawn where the snow has melted. The not-so-good is that you can see the grass where the snow has melted! haha!!! It is dis-gus-ting! Guess what is on my to-do list for today?
What did I do yesterday? Seriously... what *did* I do?? The only thing that is sticking out in my mind is the LLMD appt. She tweaked Gary's treatment a tiny bit and for me, she needs to check my bloodwork, and other than that, I am good for another year barring any relapses!! (Or reinfections. She hates that I live in the garden/yard all summer.) Whoooo!!!!!
I did scrap another page for Christopher's book which means I am down to two more to go. I am at the point where I am running out of pictures to steal from my SIL's FB page.

Today is groceries p/u and then scooping whatever lawn I can get to. It is so nice and sunny and while it is cold right now, it should warm up to the mid-50*s. Tomorrow is going to be over 60 and I am meeting up with Arlene for a walk. :D

HAGD!!!

Since Rae hasn't been back in a while I am assuming that things haven't gotten any better. Sending out love to her every darn day and wishing there was something I could do to ease all of her pain, physical and emotional.

@Cherylndesigns This online food shopping is a blessing and a curse. *G* When my parents were up the other day, my mom said something about them trying to do online shopping once and had to stop because the website (same store as mine) is the pits. I offered to log in with her info and shop for her when I didn't want them to go out when the virus was really bad here but they didn't take me up on it. I might have to do that for them when my dad gets his shoulder replaced but by that time, I will be able to go shopping in person. Can you imagine what my brain would be like if I had to do online shopping for two families??? [bomb smilie] Yikes!
heh, I like that you are inserting (imaginary emojis) too!
Oh yeah, your rowdy family would like Cards, but definitely have the kids pull out the worst of the cards first! We played Apples to Apples a lot with my parents when we would be up at their lakehouse (I miss that place!) and there were more than a few times that we all felt weird with certain cards. How wonderful to have the crew together again!
Congrats on the GSO!!!! I will have to check out their website!!

@taxed4ever *jaw drops* That card is incredible, how beautiful!! She is going to love it. You are so darn talented!
Ahhh, how relaxing to get your hair done! And to talk to someone other than your Gary heh.
My arm is fine, seems to be about ~48 hours, and good to go. Gary's started to get sore yesterday afternoon but I bet by tonight it should be much better. I was hoping for the J&J too but was thrilled to get whatever I could. Caitlyn's friend that hooked Gary up is an absolute sweetheart. Caitlyn tends to talk a lot about me to them (surprised at that? Of course not! LOL) and she passes messages back and forth between us all. I adore her close friends very much.

@Cherylndesigns I just peeked at your LOs and the place is so cute! I will leave love after I am done here.

@felis I agree with both you and Nancy on IWD. Yes, we do have to have a day to set aside to honor strong women. (I agree with you- especially about the part about getting gifts :D) However, it stinks that in the US at least, it is just one more day of paying lip service to women who do so much more than men and get less for it. The statistics on how women and women of color get paid less/fewer promotions/recognition than white men will frustrate me forever.
[soapbox away] Your dinner sounds so nice and I have fingers crossed that your mom's friend and your aunt are all healthy.
And can even get new dog (I'm just whisper it) LOL! :p
This has me LMBO!!!!!!

@BrightEyes what a bummer that your weather was so crummy. I can't imagine being out with no socks on. Or in with no sick. My Raynaud's feet would be interesting shades of blue and grey. Caitlyn calls them my Corpse Feet. As if she is one to talk, she gets that way too although not as bad. Scott's feet might be worse than mine, however. They are gross. Not a surprise that after all that running your foot is achy again. Hope it is better today. *%$@* Mail!!! Ridiculous that you have to pay the late fee if is postmarked but I know that isn't the way it works.

@nancyr Poor Luther, wonder what is going on with the streets. Is there a lot of grit still down on it? Maybe leftover salt on the pavement? Have you seen all of the brouhaha over Major Biden? He is a beauty of a Shepard (Champ is too!!). I can't believe that the news kept saying "aggressive" and it turned out to be a nip. *rolls eyes*
That is great news about MGs DDs party and for your SIL to visit. It really feels like things might be starting to turn the corner even if it is slowly and cautiously.
How sad for Magnum. Sorry to hear about his owner.
Your soapbox re: IWD looks darn good next to mine ha!!!

Love and hugs to all!

OK, but there is also International Men's Day just no body cares about it! It's just like "Hhh, sorry honey, headache!" LOL! ;)o_O
I'm absolutely aggravated that in Mexico is illegal women to show with unshaved legs, and other buls***, but it's time to be political and other just to get some fun! :p [and here need 3 smiley with tears]

Morning all! It is sunny but still pretty chilly this morning, lots of frost on the rooftops! I had a great chat with my hairdresser and enjoyed my time getting my hair done yesterday! She has been very busy and working a lot, she says she is ready for a break, but there is no where she can go, so she will just keep on working LOL. It sure will be nice when we don't have to wear a mask while getting our hair done, I miss seeing everyone's smile! I got home and sat down at the computer and got the letter written to the Mayor about the booking practices of the swimming pool. I hope that he doesn't just throw it in the trash!! My Gary gave me a few good really good suggestions on how to improve it, and I think it turned out pretty good! I am happy that I did it and maybe now I will quit dreaming about it LOL!! Nothing exciting happening today so perhaps I will finish the page I started three days ago  sure wish I had more motivation for scrapping! Please keep your fingers crossed for our Heather as she has applied for a job with a Travel Agency near where she lives and would be able to work from home with them. I doubt that she will be very busy with it for a bit, but things are starting to open up more with the airlines, so you never know.

@faerywings - Ha, Ha, I just had to laugh over your good news/bad news! Yes the spring melt will be uncovering all of that dog poop and you will be very busy out there cleaning soon! I do not envy you that job LOL. Glad to hear that your arm was not sore for too long and hope that your Gary's is just fine today too! I had a phone call from my Gary's Aunty Betty who will be getting her vaccination right away, she said that she always found if you exercise the arm where you got the injection it usually helps it feel better quickly, guess it moves all that fluid around instead of just sitting there?? Who knows?? Perhaps an old wives tale? Thank you for the nice compliment on my card, you are so sweet! I found this paper pack at my local craft store and have been able to make quite a few cards from it. There are some beautiful papers out there! I would love to use more of what I have in my digital stash, but they never print out quite right on my crappy printer. I guess I could have them printed out at Staples or some other printing place. Good luck with your grocery shopping today, I have that chore to do today also!

@Cherylndesigns - Saw both of your great pages about your office! They are amazing! Hope that soon you can move into a less cramped scrapping place!

@felis - I love that you have a wall just like the one in my card! You are very sweet to give me such a nice compliment! I would love it if Heather and family could move to a bigger place too, but sadly there isn't really anything out there to move to :(. A dog would be a great addition to the family, as long as it would be the boys taking care of it, Heather has enough on her plate right now without having to worry about caring for a furry baby LOL. I know the boys would love to have a pet!

@BrightEyes - You did have a busy day yesterday and I bet your feet were glad to be warm again once you got home! That is too bad about the Visa late charge! That happens to my DH once in awhile because he refuses to make his payment earlier! I don't think that either one of us has stepped inside a bank since Covid, so about a year ago, strange how we have changed so many ways of doing things since then. Hope that the temps warm up for you today! Nice that your Dr. was so happy to see you and that your appt. went so well!

@nancyr - I love that you are still doing the Blue Apron meals, they all sound so interesting and yummy! I would love to find a meal delivery that does Keto, but haven't seen one yet, lots that offer gluten free, but none for Keto :(. Oh well maybe soon they will come out with something. How great that you have a bakery that offers only gluten free/keto baked goods and that it is so tasty too! Thanks for the nice comment about my card! I wish my printer was better so that I could use more of my digital things, but like I said earlier, perhaps sending them to Staples would be a better option than spending all that money on paper packs? Hope you and Luther are able to get out on a lovely walk today! That is so sad that Magnum's owner has passed away! What a tragic thing! Poor Magnum still looking for his owner, it breaks my heart!! Hope that your Luther's paws are ok, wonder what is irritating them so much?

Alright I am off to the shower and then getting my online grocery shopping started. Wish me luck to get a page finished today! Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Good afternoon ladies. I am so behind. Do I say that a lot? I'm sure I do because I think it a lot.

I have been checking in to see if anything has been said about Remi. I'm so sad because I think this is undoubtedly bad news.

I do have good news...got the 1st shot yesterday and it went well. I'll be back this evening for personals. And also I need to get a couple more layouts done!

Hi ladies. Remi has started to improve. I have been offline partly b/c i have no computer yet and using my ipad is a PITA to type on (taking it in tomorrow so hopefully something fixable) and mostly b/c taking care of Remi has been time consuming and exhausting. She is responding to the meds at home now. It’s exhausting trying to fit in 3 meds before and after meals but the good thing is that she is now eating again. She has no control yet and pretty much goes within a few seconds of feeling like she has to go, and her poops are still really mushy (I know, TMI lol) so that means I have to really watch her and scoop her up and get her outdoors as much as I can. At night she goes on a pee pad inside as I don’t trust getting her outside and down the stairs while I’m half asleep. It’ll be easier when she gains some control and can navigate the stairs but that is weeks away. She is 10 wks old as of yesterday. She doesn’t cry when she goes to the bathroom so i think the pain has dissipated. She starts new medication this wkend for a week and we’ll redo blood work and then go from there.

Positive thing is that she is eating like a champ again and is very alert. Her and Taz have started wrestling and playing together. She is very fearful of many things so I’m working with puppy treats and overcoming fearful situations. I spend almost all my time with family stuff, desk work and then the major is taking care of her. I have no time for scrapping right now but do miss not being able to load photos. I am hopeful that she will continue to improve and life will settle a bit but it’s going to take time so if I disappear for awhile its b/c I just have no time right now. My back requires me to rest more too so when Remi naps i often lay down for a rest too. But, things are looking better and I feel we might get through this.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and wishes. It’ll be easier to come chat when I get my computer fixed (fingers crossed) soon. BFN

Rae..... I am so close to tears.... Cait asked me this morning how you and Remi were doing and I hadn't said anything about her being sick- figured I was going to wait until I knew for sure. She was devastated by the news and was sending her love to you and wondered how you handle everything, she says you are very strong! I agree! She will be relieved- as I am- that she is slowly improving. I know that she couldn't have a more attentive dog-mama than you.
I am doubling and tripling up my good vibes to all of you. xoxoxoxo!!

Hello girls!
We have snow! I love snow!!! But, I thought that we are done with the winter for this year. Few days ago I plant most of my flowers seeds. This year they was really nice collection and I'm really angry on me as I had to cover them with polyethylene, but it wasn't come in my mind before now! Why I'm so forgetful? I covered the tulips bulbs, but not the seeds. [rolling eyes]

Nancy, I hope Luther's paws get better soon! We had similar problem at summer when streets was really hot. Can asphalt it be too cold or treated with something against icy?
So sad about Magnum! Reminds me for this story about Greyfriars Bobby.

Rae, I'm so happy to hear the good news! I often think for Remi, of course! But was think for you too, as I saw one lady to bouncing on exercise ball chair at her home office in try to improve back pain, which immediately reminds me for you!

Linda, just don't forget to take a break time to time! And I hope you'll be more here during the O party!

Trudy, I thought Heather already got that job. She will, I'm confident in that! And also I hear so many friends tearsty for travel, so this is a great moment! They mostly get vaccinated to can travel, my family including! What we hear for now is that will matter with which vaccine you are, as some country will accept only concrete brand. Bravo for the letter! I still think you should post it on FB too!

Chris, I'm so happy to see that your results are good and health condition stable! Absolutely love the cat blanket! Will left comment soon, but wants for a while you to be last person shown at the thread, I'm tired to be me! You so right, cats will won't mind little mess at the pattern! They can comment on it with each other, and secretly shows it one to other, but will be polite to not say it in public! LOL! I'm so proud of you and your big heart, this is lovely project!
I plan to knit few baskets to my own cats, something like that here, and I just found a type of yarn called marshmallow yarn, I don't know is it the same on english, but it's very thick thread excellent for that.

@bcgal00 Rae thanks so much for the good news on Remi. I am sure you are exhausted. Rest the back for sure! Just so heartening to know she is eating and playing.

good evening - had a great walk with Luther. His paw seems much better. But oh he was so stubborn this day. He wanted to go past the grade school's back field but I did not and so the rest of the walk home he would stop and once he just sat down. He really knows where he wants to go. It is a good thing I got him trained and when I do the heel command he knows he has to go my way. There are still patches of snow this late in March. WOW. Yesterday my Devils were losing 3-1 at the start of the third period. Much to my shock they scored 3 goals to tie the game and it went to OT. They lost in OT but to see that they did not quit was awesome! I actually finished my Dec 2020 project so that really makes me happy. I now have to figure out how to print - well whether I print my own or do a book. I think I now need to get some photos off my hard drive and on to the web or EHD.

@faerywings Chris it is hard to know what happened from day to day. I am glad your Dr. appointments went so well. Did you see we might get to 70 degrees tomorrow? I cant wait. Yes there is a lot of grit on the pavement which bothers Luther but luckily mostly walking on sidewalks. Did you see that next week most businesses will be up to 50% capacity? They are moving fast. Texas Rangers are planning on having a full stadium for opening day, 40K people. That is too many too soon. What is that states rush.

@taxed4ever Trudy I love my time at the hairdressers. So fun to leave with fresh cut and in your case color too! We will probably start with fog tomorrow and then 70s. At least no frost! Good for you to write that letter. Hope it helps and yes no more dreaming about it.

@LSlycord Linda congrats on the first dose!

@felis I am sure your seeds will survive the snow. From what little I know (and I know very little) about seeds is that they can not be frozen for a long time. And I thought that tulips like being cold so I was taught to plant them in the fall for them to bloom in the spring. I cant wait to see your spring flower photos!

Again Rae so happy about Remi!
Waving to all!
