Merry Christmas to my dear O-Fam! I have to make this quick since I never put out the gifts last night. We got home around 11 and by the time I got the dogs fed and settles, I was too pooped out.

But I did want to take the time to wish everyone some good tidings.
From my family to yours:

Merry Christmas to all the O-family!
DH didn't get up when I did and is just finishing breakfast. Then we'll open gifts that Santa left last night. Meanwhile Pandora's playing folksong-type Christmas songs on our TV.

Merry Christmas to all!!

We had sleety rain until around 8 AM. By noon the sky was partly cloudy and the sun was shining. There was snow [and low clouds] along the top of the mountains right outside town. Since the streets were clear, I decided to join DD#1, SiL#1 and grandson for Christmas dinner. Very quiet and laid-back time. We were all missing those who couldn't be with us today. The great-grands had called DD earlier to report on what Santa had brought them. They mentioned that it just wasn't the same without the whole family being together.

Forecast is for snow moving in tonight and tomorrow. Hope all who are traveling will make it to their destinations okay.

Merry christmas to all. This was a good year despite not having DD (in Japan) and my brother who passed earlier this year. We video chatted with DD twice (xmas eve and xmas) and it was fun. We had a fun time on both days. We did not have to cook or host at all and it was very stress free. BIL #1 got the food for Christmas eve and hosted at his moms. DD #2 hosted Christmas day and BIL #2 cooked everything with the help of DD. Even MIL was stress free (miracle) DH and I cooked 3 pecan pies and that was all. Easy peasy. Lazy Christmas day!
