goooOd morning! How is my O-Fam doing today? Y'all are so quiet, I hope that everyone is good.

Me-- I am in the Fake it Til Ya Make it Mode. Appt with Onc. didn't go so well. The medication that he would want me on interacts with several of my Lyme meds. So he and I don't know what the best treatment plan should be. I can't come off of the Lyme abx, or I will relapse. And if I don't take the hormone therapy meds, I am at a higher risk for recurrence of the cancer in the right breast as well as increased risk for a new cancer in the left.
The only option that I can see is (say it with me, Phyllis!!:pound:) is a hysterectomy. That would solve all of my problems. Well, not all... but at least it would take the hormone issue out of the picture.

Off to clean today and then try to get another page or two done for the album.

Hey Nancy- bet you have been cheering a lot, I see the Rangers are down 0-3. I hope they win at least one game so the series extends a bit more for you.

Sara, I am so sorry to hear that DH's grandma passed away. That bites about having to rearrange your vacation too.
I made a document in Excel years ago that does the same thing, I have headers for each aisle/area and then several lines underneath for me to fill in what I need to buy. It makes it so much easier, especially when my head is a mess.

Have a wonderful day!

good morning - yesterday was busy. I did laundry, grocery shopping, cooked dinner, got in a good walk, scrapped and then watched hockey. Makes me laugh at myself when I read this as this is what most people do normally in a day but being retired I don't always cook, I don't have kids to do laundry and now this is what I call a busy day. Yesterday morning it rained and we got over 1.7 inches of rain. And now today maybe more hit and miss showers. It is humid for sure.

Chris how was the rain by you yesterday? Yes it is quiet here. Yes I am feeling sorry for the Ranger fans as the Kings defeated my Devils two years ago in pretty much the same dominating fashion. I am so sorry to hear that your medications are not working together.

Have a great day all!

howdy. back from the Vacation from Hell (lots of sick family :puke:, a wedding with a live amplified band in the neighborhood of our rental :frusty:, a stint in a two hour long traffic jam on the ONE through road in the area because someone decided that June at the seashore was a great tinme to move TWO beach houses from A to B. et al.)and ready to put it all behind me. :behindsofa: or me behind IT. at least the weather was good where i was last week. there's THAT. :twitch:

Chris, what an answer!! but you are right, my opinion on everything female it to get rid of the bits that are troublesome. (i don't mean to sound flippant or as if this isn't a really troubling issue. i'm just coming from the camp of someone who has already gotten rid of a lot of stuff and feels like she's better for it.) one thing that will happen either way is that you will experience some pretty intense menopause symptoms all of a sudden. my sister did when she started the anti-hormone meds after her surgery. it's a decision between surgery and no surgery, with the Lyme wild card thrown in just to make you crazy. i don't know WHAT to think you should do. did you discuss this with your Lyme doc? sigh. it's always something. :faint2:

Nancy, i don't feel bad for the Rangers at all! in fact:....

off to finish up the beach laundry and do some ironing. back to normal. i AM going to go out in search of a Gyro salad today, just to reward myself for being me----with all that THAT entails. WTH. if we don't reward ourselves for just being ourselves, who will? :becky:

Good morning!!

I'm sort of blah this morning. The family is subdued because of the funeral and on top of that Ben and I are sincerely disappointed about vacation. I would like to just go next week instead, but DH's job is awful right now and he doesn't know if he can go. He actually might have to go to Texas for work. I said then I should take Ben two hours away to Adventureland, but Matt doesn't want us to go places without him. Which is a little difficult. He says we can reschedule the trip for the end of July. But then it's hotter, crowder, and right before school starts, which stinks. And then chance that it gets cancelled all together is much greater. So it just kind of stinks.

Now we have three days of nothing planned either and I have to find stuff to do for both Ben and I. *sigh* This wasn't how I planned this week.

/bitching

At least we have air conditioning. :)

We're off to the store soon.

Have a good day gals!

Morning, all! (at least it's morning for a brief while yet.)

I had a worrisome bit this morning as my niece in California was inquiring via email after her mother. My sister posts the final Jeopardy answer every weeknight and sends it to her daughter, but didn't last night. I tried calling when I got up, but she is hard of hearing and moves slowly, so no surprise with no answer, just worry. Later she did answer and all is well. She just got busy and forgot. Got my BP up for a while though.

Sara, so sorry about DH's grandmother and the vacation plans. Bummer!

Nancy, Chris, Phylis, and all, hope you have a good day, or at least not too bad!

Good morning all!
Today marks the two week day on Les' biking trip from BC to Ontario! So far he's cycled over 2000 km!! He's been making great time and is a couple of days ahead of schedule. I'm loving the Find My Friends app - its made everything much less stressful, plus he tries to call me every day (as long as there's cell service). Saskatchewan was the pits but as soon as he hit Manitoba he was fine. I've been keeping busy with the garden (it finally feels like its under control this year) and went on a great hike last week with a local ladies hiking group. Also managed to finalize dd's wedding invitations so its great to have that off my list. I've had a new foster cat for the past week who is very sweet and great company.

Chris - Sorry to hear your having med conflicts! Hope you can get it sorted soon.

Nancy - Its too bad about the Rangers. I kind of lost interest after they beat Montreal but would rather have seen them win than LA.

Phyllis - Yikes! That does sound like a bizarre vacation. Bet you were glad to get home again!

Sara - Sorry to hear about your mil and the postponed vacation. Hope you can manage to reschedule later and come up with some fun things to do in the meantime.

Jean - Glad to hear your sister was ok.
