Yeah, I know I am really late starting this thread (reminder too, that anyone can start this if you want!).... I am moving slow and so is my computer hehe!

Just a few tidbits from me today. I have to leave for work in an hour and I have to get through the house as quickly as I can. I hope to be home by noon, b/c I have to shower and get ready to leave her by one. my SIL wants to get a pic of the 3 g-kids for my mom's birthday next week, abd of course it has to be done at the mall that is 45 mins away from me and the appt is at 2.urgh...... I would have asked Cait to work with me, but there is no way she would be ready in time to get hair/make-up done for pictures.....

Kids lyme appt went "ok." They are showing improvements but hte next few months are critical. He is switching up all of their mends to really make sure that if there is any resistant bacteria left, they will be gotten. If they are still feeling good, next time we go in, we will start to wean them off of the abx. That is the scary part since every time we have tried that have ended up sick again. The bacterias like to hide and as soon as there is no abx in the system, they re-emerge.

And we are getting ready for a big snow storm- maybe on Thurs, ATM, the weather blog I follow is saying 6+ inches with a potential for much more. Gary has *got* to get the snow blower in today to get fixed..... grumble....

I will try to come back for personals after I get my morning chores done.
But if I don't-- have a wonderful, happy, safe New Year's Eve!!!!!

Since I'm never here at this hour, thought I'd speak up. Our local artists' group took down our gallery exhibit on Friday and this morning - starting at 6 AM! - hung a slightly smaller version in a local restaurant. I feel like a total zombie at the moment, but have to stay awake to go to the dentist across town at 10. Hopefully the snow will quit falling for a while. Probably have to take a nap later if I expect to be awake at midnight.

Chris, hoping as always that the Lyme treatment goes better this time.

I'll check back in to the O a bit later but always hit this thread first Gotta take lil man to the doctor since his "cold" seems to be moving towardds his chest. Gotta beat it before it beats him! He feels junky so if he needs more than allergy pills and inhalers gotta get that taken care of. Then it's going to be cook, cook, cook all day long! Already got the laundry started and going to do the grocery shopping after the doctor office.

Morning O-zies!! It is still so dark outside, but no snow, no rain, so hoping that it will be another great weather day here! I can hardly believe that the year is at an end!! Where has the time gone?? We are just staying home tonight to bring in the New Year, a nice relaxing evening with a few glasses of wine and hopefully we will make it through a good movie. I know we are boring, but hey, its too expensive to do the party thing, and I would hate the thought of having to kiss some stranger at midnight....uggh the germs LOL!!

Chris - I am hoping that my prediction for your great New Year comes true and that this is the Year your family gets rid of those dam Lyme bugs!!!!!!!!!! Hope you get home on time and get those photos done, a nice gift for your Mom!! HAPPY NEW YEAR ! my friend, be safe and enjoy the last day of 2013!! :hug:

Andrea - Ugghhh poor little guy with a darn cold :mmph: I feel one coming on too, have been coughing, sneezing, wiping my eyes and nose all morning :rant: I do not want to end the year with a COLD!! I will be cooking a nice dinner tonight for hubby and me too, Steak (he does that on the BBQ) Scallops, stuffed potatoes and a nice salad...yummmmmmm!! I can't wait! Have a wonderful last day of 2013 and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!!

Ok off to get some breakfast and then some cold medicine to nip this cold in the bud!!! I am getting two pages finished today if it kills me!!!! Then off to the grocery store for a few things. Have a great day everyone! :wave:

Happy New Year's Eve everyone! I am getting ready to head out to a Devils/Pens hockey game starts at 1pm. Then home to get ready for dinner out with my girlfriend, her DH, my DH and I. Good Italian food! Just nice conversation to end the year!

Chris glad that the drs appt went so well! Enjoy the photo shoot.

Jean hope the dentist visit goes well - my DH is there now. He lost a tooth on Sat.

Andrea so sorry the little one is sick. Not a fun way to end the year.

Trudy you are too funny about kissing strangers but I totally agree LOL!

It's already 5.30pm here.
Laundry: drying.
Grocery: shopped.
House: cleaned.
Wine: refreshing.
Dinner: almost ready.
Me: ready and tired!

Now waiting for my sister, we will be celebrating quietly and watch a good film.
