GooooOd morning, O-zies. I hope that everyone had a great day yesterday and is all rested up and ready to start this one. I am hoping that maybe another cup of coffee will get me in that frame of mind. As of right now, I feel pretty crummy. Allergies on top of insomnia on top of pain. It is not making me the happiest person in the world.

As always, yesterday was a mixed bag of "stuff." Gary's LLMD told him that he has Chrohn's disease which is sometimes connected with the autoimmune stuff from Lyme from what we gather. As of now, there isn't much that she wants him to do differently. At least it wasn't celiac/gluten issues. *sigh of relief* Autoimmune issues - let's just pop that on to the grrowing list since Type 1 Diabetes and Lyme are also part of that.

The good news yesterday-- Scott got called back for a second interview. That is set for this afternoon over Zoom. He is a bit nervous about that since he feels that he connects better in person. I imagine that they feel the same, does anyone actually *like* Zoom meetings?

I have my mammo/ultrasound this afternoon, I am pretty sure that is not helping my mood. I am not concerned at all, but who wants to deal with it? I want them to read it while I am there, maybe they will.

Have I ever told you how much I love my husband? He is making another pot of coffee for me right now :tea:

have a fab day!!

Trudy- how was the hike, did you get a clear view? So, both boys were back at school so Heather got some time alone? Awesome!
You sound like me with your calendar countdown. You can do it! Smart of your SIL's to stay home of you have a second wave starting up. Please be safe.

Nancy- i am so darn happy reading your posts. You are in such a good place and it helps me to hear it, the same as when I think about Hunter lughing with Trudy.

Trudy-- I had a dream that I went to visit you and we were outside by a lake with docks and boats and we were drinking some strange alcohol-- def. not your wine! LOL
The night before I had a dream that I was visiting my friend's DD in Disney (she used to work there, she is at Sea World right now) and she was taking me through the employee tunnels. I see a theme of wanting an escape of some sort. God help me if I start dreaming that I am Harry Houdini!! :pound:

Anyway, it makes me very happy that you are really enjoying being out and about, taking photos and walking and all that good stuff.
What a nice gesture that the Sharks GM used ASL to sign his name.

Kay- all of my good thoughts are with you and your computer!
Congrats to DD#2!

Cheryl- any updates on the house?

I think I fell off the face of the earth. After feeling terrible on Sunday and Monday, I ended up in the hospital on Tuesday and Wednesday. Another ambulance ride-this time with the lights! Pancreatitis again. Wow. Dr said I just stay with a high level of the fat enzyme in my body and I really have to watch my eating. I have been feeling so good of late that I have indulged in a few foods. This age thing is not for sissys!!!

Another hurricane heading to the Louisiana area! DD has emegency storm duty for our country/parish and we get the baby more! I sure hope this is the last one!

Take care all. Working on challenges.

Good afternoon everyone! I am late getting in here because I was awake at 3am until 5:30 Ughh!! So I went back to bed and finally feel back to sleep at around 6am or so I think LOL. Slept until 8:20 and then got a call from Heather and Hunter. Had to run to Staples copy and print store to pick up some things that I ordered and then out to the Paper craft store to get more paper and things that I really do not need LOL. I think I have a craft buying problem!! Talked with MIL and FIL and decided to have them for Thanksgiving on Monday instead of Sunday. MIL has a appt at the hospital in the morning on Tuesday, so they will stay the night and not have to worry about driving home and then coming all the way back again on Tuesday morning. It might very well be the last time they will be here, as COVID #'s are growing and we could be going back to what it was like at the beginning. Hurry up Vaccine!! MIL has a terrible time climbing the stairs here too. She is a big woman and poor FIL is not a strong as he used to be, so helping her is getting harder for him. Of course my Gary will be here to help her out this visit thank goodness!

Chris - Hope your Mammo appt. went well, would they really read it for you while you are there. They are not allowed to do that here. It all has to go to the Breast Cancer Clinic first then we get a letter stating that it is all good or not. I love your dream that you had, you would have really liked the hike we did yesterday and I could see us sitting on the side of mountain and overlooking the amazing view. Perhaps we were drinking the Blackberry Gin and diet tonic water that I love?? Probably not a good thing to be drinking while we are hiking though :pound: Keeping my fingers crossed and sending good vibes out to Scott for his second interview!! It sounds promising :tape: opps I don't want to jinx it LOL.

Sharon - Oh my goodness how terrible that you had another attack and got sent to the hospital! You are right this aging stuff is not for the faint of heart! Hope that this is the last of the storms for you! Take Care!!

Well I better get in the kitchen and get the stew into the crock pot for DH's supper tonight. Too many non Keto things in the stew so I will be having leftovers from a previous meal. I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and that you get to do something that brings you Joy!!

good afternoon - another nice day. A little cooler but still sunshine. Saw the funniest thing on at two houses. Their lawns were covered with pink flamingos and the signs said they had been flocked. My son got the first photos of "the ring" and it is beautiful. Tomorrow he goes to see it in person. He cant pop the question until the refinance of her home goes through. He has a plan that includes her kids so I am proud of him. It is now just a waiting game. He and his main girl are bring down dinner for us. I love that. My Devils did well at the draft. But today was a sad day day in that the Devils decided they had to buy out the contract of Cory Schneider our goalie. The Devils had lots of space for free agents which start tomorrow. I am not sure the Devils want to have a lot of older players as they seem to be going young but I am sure they must have to have some vets.

Chris hope the pain decreases soon. Congrats to Scott on his second interview. And yes Zoom is hard. Hope the Mammo went well. I have to set mine up.

Trudy saw the photo on FB of the lunch view and it was beautiful. That is so nice what you are doing for your inLaws. That will make much easier for their driving. How nice for the grand babies to both be at school and give Heather a break.

Kay that is awesome about the sale of the house. Sure hope that his surgery goes well and they can be on their way.

Sharon that is terrible news about the pancreatitis. Good luck with the recovery.

Have a great day all!

Hi all! Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days.

Chris, the house is coming along very nicely! I've updated my album if any of you want to check it out. We have all of the sheetrock up and they're supposed to start drywalling tomorrow!! It's getting so exciting because it actually looks like a house now! Here's a link - there's a great video at the end that the gk's took. https://photos.app.goo.gl/v8dZ9jC9md2vaRqy5

I have to show you the skeleton pictures I took over the weekend. You'll have to show them to Gary. Ava and I went to a local antique store and they had them sitting all over the store. The cutest was the whole family sitting around the dinner table.

I'm so sorry to hear about Gary's health problems. My youngest dd was diagnosed with IBD when she was younger and still has her problems. She's had multiple surgeries.

Sharon - Wow! You've been through it, too! Hoping your feeling better and those hurricanes are getting old, aren't they? Stay safe and feel better.

Trudy and Nancy - hope all is well with you. Weather is getting cooler here, too.
