helloooooO O-Fam!
I need to breathe, feeling anxious... so let's close our eyes, take a deep breath in, all the way down into your abdomen. Hold for a few seconds and then let it out very slowly-- really empty those lungs. And again-- really fill those lungs, all the way down. Hold. And out through the mouth. When you think your lungs are empty, exhale a little more. One last time... in, hold-- and really get all of the air out.
My anxiety is two-fold.
yeah-- that is real and current. That is one of the issues. The second is that I am really worried about the baby birds. I had forgotten but a couple of years ago, we had babies that froze to death. Cait mentioned that yesterday when we were complaining about it being cold and now I am petrified these babies are going to die too. I am pretty sure that I know the answer, but is there anything we can do to keep them warmer? A blanket over the top over the rhododendrons, at least to keep the snow off of them? Nature is a b**** sometimes.
The temps here have been horrendous. I feel like I can't get warm. Yesterday was cold and drizzly all day. Right now it is sunny but is going to be in the 50s. Blech.
Let's see what did I do yesterday, besides complain about the weather? I finished painting the trim in the kitchen. I scrapped a LO of the birds. I made an easy and yummy dinner. It was a spinach and cheese dutch baby. I never heard that term before but it was easy and all stuff I had in the house.
Cait and I studies together with the rats running all around. Tat is a Trash Rat. She *loves* to climb into Caitlyn's garbage can for some reason. There were a few times she found cheese doodles in it and we think she is looking for more. The little ones are getting bigger- and Evie is a piece of work LOL
BTW, I was mistaken about the award that Cait got- this is different than the one that I thought it was, she hasn't heard anything about that scholarship. I am so proud of that girl!
Today is Christopher's actual b-day and we are doing a family Zoom party for him this afternoon. I miss being able to see everyone together.
But that is about it, still have more things to catch up on around the house but let's see if I am in any sort of mood
Gratitudes:
-my parents aren't;t fighting ATM- always a good thing
-kids are finishing up coursework- tomorrow is the last day. ummm.... why did my stomach do some flips???
-tech like Zoom that can keep up in touch
xoxoxoxooooo!!!!!
