Daily Ooos: Thursday, May 22

vickyday

Love my O Family!
CHEERY O
WOW! Almost 10:00 here in the Eastern USA and no one has started today's thread!
So here I am! ;)
Hope your day is going well so far!

I was up and at it by 7. Got dressed to head to the track. Tried to pull out of the driveway but school traffic was going the wrong way.....the way I wanted to go! RATS! Well, I decided to try a new track, so I headed to one further away. It was nice, but I like "my" track better, so I will either have to be ready to leave the house by 7 or wait until after 8 when the school traffic clears up from now on!

After walking I stopped by the grocery to grab some coffee creamer for my DH that got left off of the grocery order for yesterday. Took that to him and came back to the house. Put the dishes away, fixed my coffee, and here I am!

Going to leave here in about 50 minutes to go back to pick DH up for lunch. But in the meantime, I will begin working on my daily Scripture ATCs that are about a month behind! I have my Monthly Review pages caught up, even through May. But, I still have about 3 pictures to add to May's spread. I split the left and right sides up between the first and second halves of the month, so I will add today's pics from the new park and a couple more I take this next week before the end of the month.

Hope you all have a great day and hope @faerywings is having a great time in PA!

Morning, all. Thanks for starting the thread, Vicky. I had popped in earlier and saw it wasn't started. I was going to start it once I got the Art Journaling Week 4 LOs and the new release LO by CarolW posted to the galleries. Glad you got it started. Sorry you had to find another way to avoid the school traffic. I have my favorite routes, too... but with all the road repairs going on - I have had to use some different routes. Still waiting for them to repair my street... with my luck, it will happen next week when all my company is here!!! Sure hope not...

Just heard the garage truck rumble by... but recycle truck won't be here until late this afternoon. Will wait to put both bins back until it is emptied. Just checked and the high today will be 90° !!!! Time to pull out summer shorts and tops!!! The good thing is I am having the house aired out in the mornings when the temps are still moderate. Guess it is time to switch over from heat to A/C and take the extra blanket off the bed. :giggle4:

I am #1 on the waiting list at the library for the new Nora Roberts "Hidden Nature" that will be released next week!!! Whoo-whee! :claphands::girldance:dance4 It will probably take another week for the library to process it. Can't wait to get it.

Time for another :coffeedrinker: and get dresses. HAGD

We had a cold front come through yesterday evening and I had to wear a jacket for this morning's bike ride. Very unusual for this late in the spring but I know I'll be complaining about heat and humidity before long, so just enjoying what I have.

I went to a meet and greet for a gubernatorial candidate last night. Except I was 2 months early. How did I get that date so wrong? Embarrassing

Trails Crew meeting tonight so we'll eat from a food truck at the brewery and I don't have to make dinner. More time to catch up on my pages, yay!

Spring flowers in the garden are winding down and summer is starting to appear. We have a ton of hydrangeas getting ready to bloom. I always love that because we don't get them every year. I bought a quart of strawberries from a local farm when we biked past one day last week, and they were so good we ate the whole thing that same day. This is a nice time of year, for sure.

Hopefully they will have your road repairs done before the family arrives! I'm afraid something like that is around the corner for us, too, as there are those traffic counters laying across the road in several places.

I had to start my walk this morning in a sweatshirt but got rid of it after the second time around the track.
