Good morning to all you Party People enjoying Day Six!
man, oh man, oh man- I don't want to think about June being halfway gone. Eeep. However, I know someone who is very happy about it-- Linda! One more sleep!!
I was busy almost non-stop yesterday but thank goodness, I had a much, much better day, in spite of it being a Bill Paying Day.
That always is discouraging but I have a roof over my head and food in the fridge. When Scott got home in the afternoon, we asked what he thought of the rentals- his response: "Garbage." That gave me the chance to talk to him and Gary about what was going on inside my crazy-brain the day before. They were all very understanding and supportive. Scott kept saying that both he and Sam want to stay close and that he plans on coming over for dinner often.
After dinner, we played a *wild* game of Pictionary. Gary and I got our butts kicked. Although, we did almost catch up the Scott and Caitlyn toward the end. We were maybe 10-12 spaces past Start and they were more than halfway around the board at one point. My first drawing was Hermit, and I tried to do Sounds Like: Kermit (the Frog) but let's just say that my drawing of a Muppet frog made my chicken-footed werewolf look like a masterpiece
Scott, Gary, and I are going to my parents today. The guys are putting their new gazebo together and I am going to help my mom put the summer comforter and dust ruffle on the bed.
Temptation on Thursday:
Challenge the kids to a Pictionary rematch-- after I look at all of the cards
big hugs!
