hiiiii everyone!!
Wow, did I have terrific day yesterday. The weather was just gorgeous, the water was amazing. My mom was like a little kid in the waves, I think we spent most of our time in the water!

I had tot ell her to not go in so deep. Not that I thought she would drown but I knew her legs would be sore from trying to keep balanced withthe undertow. Then I had to keep reminding her to make sure she had sunscreen on. But did she listen to me? No. And her shoulders got a bit burned. Talk about role reversal LOL

Everyone is so quiet in here, I hope that all of my MIA O-Fam is having a great time away.

Off to walk in the actually cold air this morning. Its in the 60's!! As my dad would say, its be-YOU-tiful sleeping weather. hahah!

Trudy- :rofl: Love the story of trying to get your IL's photos. Sounds like my mom who always makes either the silliest, fakest smile, or my dad who has inherited the nickname from his mother "Stone Face." I swear to god that the only photo I have of my grandmother smiling was at my wedding and I think that was b/c she thought she was getting rid of me. (She didn't care for me too much, my brother was first grandchild and a "BOY" which is very important in Italian families. And I was way to outspoken for her...)

And 2 months old, so soon????? OMG-- he is going to be smiling and cooing for you!!!!!!

Yes, I hope that Nancy is having a wonderful time in Paris and that Phyllis is relaxing at the B&B.... and that the g-kids haven't tied up Nana.......

Thanks, Chris! Since I'm never normally awake this early it's another opportunity to pop in and say Hi! Time to head to breakfast now though and then another day of class. What fun for this old lady to be back in college for a week.

Morning ladies! Another wonderful sunny day and I actually slept in a bit Its been a long time since I have slept past 7am.

Chris - Sounds like a wonderful day for you and your mom, so cute that you were playing the part of the parent and she the child!! :becky: Nice that she had so much fun in the water, such good therapy for the both of you!! It would be great if you could do it again very soon!! Yes it is very quiet in here isn't it?? Baby smiles and cooing two of my favorite things!! I can hardly wait!!!

Jean - You must be having a great time being back in college! I'm sorry but what course are you taking? You probably mentioned it, but I am an airhead and don't remember LOL!
Hope you get to enjoy some of the great weather today!! Study hard!!

Ok off for my walk and then some weeding in the front yard today. Got to check and make sure I have everything I need for supper with the In laws tonight. Camera is all set up on the tripod and ready to go, wish me luck that I can get at least a couple of good shots. Ohhh the pressure of trying to please the In Laws :drama: :becky: Enjoy the day everyone!! :wave:

evening all - my day off today and the weather was gorgeous- mowed the lawn twice, once on high and the second time on my normal level- it had become quite over grown! The air was so refreshing to breathe- my asthma does not like the humid air. My friend Anna had her baby girl on the 23rd- that cutie was 9 pounds 8 ounces! I hope to scrap some photos soon-

Trudy, thanks for asking. This is a week-long genealogy institute with six classes offered. I'm taking the one on writing the immigrant ancestors' stories with an outstanding genealogist/writer/teacher.

Laurie, glad the weather was better for you. My stiff joints were happier today too.
