Daily Ooo's: Thursday, April 4

Happy Thursday! (It is Thursday, right?) I am so time-day-muddled ATM. So bad! I was feeling "off" all day yesterday so I tried to stay off my feet as much as possible, which in turn puts me in a crummy mood.
I have given up on Netflix and Solitaire... my lazy brain has settled on Bejeweled Blitz to the point that I see spinning gems when I close my eyes.
The good news is that I feel pretty good right now, so I hope to be able to stay out of bed a lot more today.


I am going to post this and chat with Cait for bit-- but I should be back soon

It was Scott that came downstairs not Caitlyn so I am back now. Scott is more like me, doesn't like to talk without coffee in the system. :cof2:

The sun is out and we should hit 50* today and the wind will die down. It was howling again all day yesterday. Get all of the cold weather out of your system now, Mother Nature. That way I can be outside all day when it is finally warm. Cannot wait!!!!

Nancy- grocery shopping is like a Rorschach test for me too. I can always tell what I have been craving when I get home and see my impulse purchases. The nicer weather must be hitting you if you bought all of that ice cream.
Hope that DH is feeling better-- is he able to eat real food? Or maybe you really got all of that ice cream for him.

Trudy- that is so exciting about the Etsy shop! LMK how it goes, I would love for Gary to set one up for his acoustic speakers and other things he makes. You must be having so much fun painting. I wish I could do that. One thing I want to do today is checkout the April Challenges-- I would love to scrap again.

good morning - Yesterday I went to my wellness aquatic therapy. It is fun but the water was a bit chiller than I would have liked LOL. I have been going to the 6:30pm time slot. There was a really nice group of people. Very friendly. There was also a 92 year old woman who broke her hip and is getting her strength back for her grandson's wedding in Dec. How cool is that but the funny thing is that her name is Nancy. I rarely hear that name. I almost talked myself out of going as it was windy and I was tired but I did go and that makes me happy! LOL. Tomorrow should be total rain so if I decide not to go at least I will have done 4 days of therapy. Today is the start of the Worlds Women hockey championship tournament. Canada is leading in their game vs the Swiss. The USA plays at 12:30 right at lunch time against the Finish who are tough. Should be a fun game to watch. Glad that they are showing the women's hockey!

Chris glad you recognized that you needed to be resting. And yes I am enjoying the weather and I think once we get past the rain on Friday it should be in the 60s for a while. Plants are really starting to bud and leaf. Spring really is coming!

Trudy that is cool about an Etsy shop! Have fun! Did you get to go on your hike?

Morning ladies... It is cloudy again today and yesterday we did get some :rain: but up the Valley where our hike was, it was pouring all day long. I phoned my sister to see what the weather was like and she told me it was coming down in buckets. So being the fair weather Hiker that I am I decided to skip this one LOL. Got most of my stuff on Etsy yesterday and when I am finally up and running I will send you a link to my shop. I am struggling for a name for my shop though and would love any ideas that you ladies come up with ! I can't believe how long it is taking me to get my Etsy Shop up and running, but I want it to look good, so I have been changing photos and rearranging things so it looks better. So today I am going to the pool and getting my laps in and other than that not much happening. I hope to get a page done for the lyric challenge today too. My butt is sore from sitting at my darn computer so much yesterday LOL. I need to get up and get in some exercise!

Chris - How nice to hear that your weather is finally starting to warm up a bit! I am like you and Scott and do not talk much before my coffee in the morning :cof3: Hope that your foot is feeling much better today and that you will be able to get around a bit more. I think I would be stir crazy if I had to sit and watch Netflix for that long too :loco: As for Etsy, once get it figured out how it is not so bad, but it took me a long time to figure out the postage stuff and where I should be able to mail to. For now I am just doing Canada and the States. I don't have any great expectations of selling that much, but who knows maybe one day I will ship Internationally. :becky: I can always dream

. I hope that you can convince your Gary to go ahead and open a shop of his own. It doesn't hurt to give it a go!!

Nancy - we cross posted yesterday. I really hate grocery shopping also, it is the most mundane job of all! However I do like the people at our SaveOnFoods Store and always have nice conversations with the staff there. It is so good that you are keeping up with your pool exercises! I know how you feel about the water being not warm enough!! The lap pool is way colder than the other pools and its always a big shock when I get into it. It is ok after you have done a few laps though. LOL Wow that is so great about the 92 year old woman, good for her!! I hope she gets to her grandson's wedding, wouldn't that be so wonderful! Enjoy the women's hockey today!!

Not sure what is going on... but awake at 4:15 AM again today! Hate when I wake up so early and can't go back to sleep. Guess it might because I fell asleep in the recliner yesterday afternoon... was so tried after running errands again. Crawled into bed early then fell asleep before 9 PM.

I got my haircut on Tues and exchanged the cable box while I was in the area. Stopped at the bank on the way home to get some running money. Then discovered on Wed that I needed to order checks... so back to bank yesterday to get them ordered. Had to stop at the Post Office and fought through the road construction again.

I should get the new BluRay player hooked up to the family room TV. But I need to clean/dust the cabinet it is going into... plus have to decide which unit I am going to remove from the cabinet so I have space for it. There are 2 DVD/Tape units there... think 1 of them is unplugged so need to figure out which one it is. Hate rewiring electronics as there are a lot of wires in the back of the cabinet.

I managed to get a couple of LOs done for challenges this morning. But now the morning is almost gone so need to get dressed and start the laundry. It is still on the cool side ... some spits of rain and cloudy and windy.

Hi O's
DD is safely back in Japan. She messaged us at 4:30 this morning. The 10 days just flew by but it was great!

My MIL was involved in a wreck on Monday. I am taking care of the car getting fixed and driving her to where she needs to go. Fun Fun
Looking at challenges now. Hope to get some layouts done. I was going to go grocery shopping but it has been storming. Great stay at home weather.

Kay-electronics confuse me too!
