Good news that I am about 90% upright today. (so far. *knocks wood* these things get tricky as you all know) Huge improvement River yesterday when I was about 70% upright. I had to spend most of the day in bed which frustrates me to no end. Ugh. I wanted to work on the LO for the challenge as well as the Gallery Love Game. I spent a tiny bit of time on each but had to lay down in between. I am racing through a book that I am reading, almost halfway through and I read another couple of Chapters in Barack Obama's memoir. He is going through what it was like to have the banking industry *and* the auto industry collapsing at the same. It strictly reinforces that I could *never* be president, too much information and way too many decision. :D I also finished the edge on the kitty snuggle blanket and started a little "bucket" that they can sleep in. I will have to take some pictures later.

Today my big plan is to take shower. I should wash my hair (I only wash it a couple of times a week in the winter since it is dry) but I know I am not up to blowing it out. It can wait until tomorrow. Other than that I have to get the food shopping ready and some dinner ideas. I have to figure out what to make tonight. Noodles with butter and cheese sounds like a good option. But what to cook the rest of the week? [no idea smilie]

xoxo!

@bcgal00 Oh, you know you spend too much money and time at the vet when you start getting freebies! Poor sweet girl, I hope that the scabs heal quickly. Hugs to you, you have been amazing caring for her. Congrats on being meds-free and tell her to keep up the good work. How was your pasta salad? Tempeh is a grain? What does it taste like?

Kay- sending you some more feel better vibes!

@taxed4ever argh, paperwork and governments are a terrible and frustrating combination! I was reading an article this morning that if you are homeless in the US you are eligible for the COVID relief check but the steps and systems that it takes to apply would be next to impossible to go through under perfect conditions. I hope yours is easier to navigate and that you are successful in your appeal. I live for my heating pad! It is one of the microwave ones and the original fabric got so warn through the beans were spilling out. I asked Cait last month to sew me a new one for it. I have some old expired Flexeril (I hoard that stuff b/c this happens so often) but it isn't as strong as it once was. Better than nothing, however.

@LSlycord That is fantastic about getting back to scrapping! Is the PS version you are using very different than the one you had before? I am relieved more than you know that you and Brian got vax's - the photos of FL spring breakers are stomach-churning.

@nancyr Woah! I can't think of the last time I slept until 9- good for you!! Good thing you slept well, you needed that energy to get back on your bike. *applauds* great job!!! How did it feel biking around your neighborhood?? You are really starting to get out and about, I am so happy for you.
Your dream must have been scary. Glad you didn't have any breathing issues when you woke up for real.

@Cherylndesigns Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I want to work outside!!!! You and your emojis LOL, we really need them [throws brick emoji] :D
Holy cow is there any way to clone Ava? You ladies must have been kicking butt making the shutters. it has to be 100% satisfying to make so much yourselves. I imagine how you will feel walking toward your house and seeing the shutters that you made. *sighs happily*
Hope that we both aren''t too achy today.

xoxo

Good Monday morning everyone! It's Monday right?? Ha, Ha the days are flying by and what have I done? Not much of anything really! There is fresh snow on the mountain tops this morning, but the sun is out and hopefully it warms up and melts it all away! We have lots of yard work to try to get done today! The biggest job is to get the power saw and cut down the branches that are hanging over on our side of the fence from our bad neighbours behind us. Wonder what kind of a fit he will throw about that?? But they are on our side of the fence so not much he can do about it! We refuse to even talk to any of them, none of the others in the neighbourhood do either. Believe me we have all tried. Hopefully they won't be home and they won't even know that we have done it. Then lots of leaves left to rake and the dreaded fir cones everywhere. There is never a shortage of those LOL. I have been searching everywhere trying to figure out how to add more smileys here, but it is beyond me :(. Sure hope that the powers that be can get us some more soon! I started my page for Day 3 Challenge, it has a photo of me when I was 16, wow that is a long time ago LOL. I need to tell my DH that I have to get this done today, so he can go and putter away at something else for awhile and let me have my computer time!

@faerywings - Glad to hear that you are semi-upright today! Wow that sucks that you had to spend most of your day yesterday in bed! Yes those bean bag heating pads are the best! Hope that you are able to get your page done today also, try to take it easy on your poor back! Just how long does it take for your hair to dry on its own?? I can't stand having wet hair, but then my hair is not very thick or long. I keep thinking that perhaps its time for a new style, maybe something even shorter? I will have to give it some more thought! Yes I struggle everyday trying to figure out what to have for dinner and its just the two of us. My Gary will eat anything that I put in front of him, so I am lucky that way, but I would like to find some new recipes to try, just no motivation to start looking .

Well I guess I should get dressed and get some breakfast for my DH so he can get busy with the yard work he wants to do. Have a wonderful day everyone! I hope that the sun shines for all of you today!

Good afternoon my lovlies.

@faerywings Chris - I could hardly walk last night, but I'm much better today. Still a little stiff, but we won't be working on the shutters until Ava's next day off. Girllllllllllllllll, I WISH I could clone Ava! She's a beast! I keep telling her she should her own company "Woman In Boots"!! She flew in here yesterday morning, got my credit card, went and bought the wood and was back here with that + the tables and power tools by noon. She never stops! She's also the official photographer for her church and she's started doing family photo shoots again. She booked a wedding to be held here on the property at the little lake. Then, they're renting her house for the reception and she's getting paid to take pictures. Roger (SIL) said "you did what?" She's charging a good amount for all of it so he didn't complain. He wasn't consulted - she just did it. She's very enterprising on top of her other talents. She's enlisted me to edit all of the wedding pictures for her. LOL BTW - I got hit right upside the head with that brick you threw. BWAHAHAHA

I LOVE having acual "ownership" in this house - I've never done anything like this and it's so much fun! She even talked me through how to hang our flat on the front of the house. I really wanted to do it myself. She always says "You can do it, Cici!".

Boy am I having extra trouble with my hotspot today! It took me FOREVER to get on here and I can't even access the store links to link up the layout I made for today's birthday challenge. I just want you all to know that it I'm not around as much it's because I can't get on here. It's extremely windy today and I'm starting to think that's the problem. We now have 2 separate hotspots + our phones and I've interchanged all of them today and no luck. SO hopefully the wind will die down.

Hope you're all having a good Monday. Hugs and waving to all.

Good morning girls!
I wasn't around because I took lazy weekend. Now when my mom is happy to have free week and she take the whole house work I was able just to hanging around. We had 2 lovely snow days! Snow is heavy so not high and also earth is warm and melt it quickly. But I don't care, the world is white and wonderful! And I spend some time play outside with the dog (he still is not enthusiastic about this cold stuff everywhere) and one oddo cat who just like to play on snow branches, lol! When my sister ask me to show her the cat's play, I realized I'm not made any pictures! It's not even come to my mind. Photography is another thing for which I'm suffer of lack of passion at the moment! I was tried to scrap too, and have 2 page in project, but no one is white space, and also I can't remember for any birthday photos to fits the rules, so this is on hold too. I'm not too good at minimalist style!

Chris, sorry for your back! But day at the bed sounds heavenly to me. I could lie down literally whole day scroll IG, but the others will start murmuring. I was try to read, but I don't want these other people's thoughts at my mind right now! I have too much to try to figure out about my own thought and feelings! Can't wait to see the kitty snuggle blanket finished! I'm waiting Easter with hope for some big yarn sale! ;)

Trudy, hope the gardening work went without scandals with the bad neighbours!

Cheryl, I'm usually mad on myself when have to excuse for not being able to renovate something because "I'm a woman" and then I watch at YouTube these awesome girls that lives alone at the wild and rebuild their houses all by herself! Your Ava sounds exactly like one of these modern superwomen!

Nancy, riding bike looks so fun to me! I've always sorry that I never learned!

Kay, thank you for let us know, I was worried! Enjoy your books and I hope that you'll feel better soon!

Jean, love how you used real place at your story book page!

Linda, absolutely love your enthusiasm about new PS! I hate so much programs updates! I feels like they not upgrade but messed up everything! :p
