Ahh! I *promised* myself that I would get off of the computer early today. I spent too much time chatting over in the 12 Days games sections. I love reading about everyone's holiday traditions.

I was able to get a lot done yesterday. I set up all of the F-Ws things that I have and while it doesn't look like I made a lot, it doesn't matter. No one shows up anyway! LOL But the stuff I need to make for baskets are done. I also sold a couple of the Mickey Mouse ear ornaments so that is kind of cool. Everything is labeled and wrapped. If I have time, (if!) I would like to make some solid air fresheners. I need to check to see if I have any heat sealing bags left to pack them in.
I was able to pack away a lot of the ingredients, bottles, jars, labels so you can actually see and eat on my dining room table.

We took the 2 dogs to the feed store for the photo. On the way out, I felt bad that we weren't bringing Ray but she would have been miserable. W and J were very excited to be out and about but they didn't want to sit in the sleigh at all. Cait and I sat on the bench and tried to keep the 2 of them on our laps. J was actually pretty good with Gary holding her leash but W wouldn't stay still for a minute. We should get the digital photo emailed to us in a week so I can see he funny it is. The photographer and the staff were cracking up at us. I told them that almost all the pictures we have of her are blurry.
If we do this next year, I am going to make sure that we put her halter n her. She is a different dog when she wears it, doesn't move a muscle until we tell her OK. Caitlyn says she is like a service dog who is a different dog when wearing their vest vs when not.

I got absolutely no scrapping done this weekend, that is my #1 priority today. I need to pay a few bills and get some dinner ideas ready for food shopping tomorrow. After that, it is going to be all Alaska Photos and nothing else until I am done.

have a super day!!!

Angela- bath bombs are pretty easy to make as long as you work really fast. When I first started making them, they crumbled or fizzed out on me until I was able to get the timing down right. And I learned to not make them if it is raining, the humidity destroys them. Not as bad as my hair on a rainy day, but they do much better when it is dry.
Hope that your kids "break a leg" at the play next week.

Nancy- At least we aren't having snow, right? It is pretty "warm" too if you think that 50 is warm haha
The game with the Jets sounds crazy and exciting even though they lost.

ITA-- Kay, good luck today with SSA. Be safe driving.

Stacey- You are very lucky if you can sleep late. Doesn't matter what time I go to bed, my body won't let me sleep past 6 am.
How did the meeting with the dog go?
My LLMD suggested that I soak my hands in warm water in the mornings and in cold rice in the evening when my joints act up. Something to do with the fluid in the joints being too cold and too warm that it counteracts. I haven't done that (lazy!) but maybe that will help you too?

Rae- Do I have to scold you too about not pushing yourself? Or is it that no one likes to listen to a hypocrite? *nods and laughs* I am happy that you are feeling better but don't overdo it.
How did the puzzles come out? B is going to love them.
Thank you for the compliments on my products! The coffee butter scrub really smells so good and I can't take credit for that. The coffee butter smells amazing right out of the jar.

Jean- yay for bringing leftover orzo salad home! That is too bad that the room they had for H&S didn't have good acoustics. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference but it would have driven Gary crazy. I guess when you have an ear for it, it is disappointing. Ugh about snow returning to you. That makes me scared to look at my weather forecast.

Waves hi to Trudy!

 I love winter, but mostly the idea of it. Whit snow town and happy time. Today it's her ugly side. Today the internet provider boxes was frozen and whole day don't have internet connection. I'll put personals later, if I stay online.

Hugs and kisses, have a lovely Monday!

Chris, I know exactly what you mean, every photo session here finished with tons of photos with one blurry thing on it. Just this morning I was taught what to scrap for the Christmas memories challenge, and realized how many precious moment I'm miss to photographe, just because they naughtiness discourage me. I want to see your photos in the sleigh SOO much!
I hope your creativity is coming back next year or so. Before I'm often wondering why you not running Etsy shop (this month I help in my sister's), But after our conversation about the real price of the money here and there (which opened my eyes for many things), it's clarify to me.

Nancy, an autography, Yey! I make a happy dance for you! I'm a kind of person that really loves autographs and merchandising! If you makes me to choose golden bracelet or autographed wristbands, I wouldn't wondering even a sec! :bliss:

Rae, if it is appropriate to read with B sad books ''My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologises'' by Fredrik Backman, is my highest recommendation. But the grandma died in hospital, so maybe this will upset her?!

Trudy, did your sister is moved in new house or I'm get this wrong?!

Jean, ouch, bad acoustics is so annoying! Frosty the Snowman, yea yea, the holiday playlist, cute! It's so festive, no doubt!

Zanthia, this is something that I never wouldn't can to realize: the human babies cry with the most disgusting sound at the world first few years, so why small barking at the beginning of your relationship to have worry you at all?! Dogs are train so much easier than kids.

Angela, aww, the nativity play, you will make wonderful pics of that!
Can I ask you something that I wondering from previous year, please! Do on the native scene have to be the donkey with which mother Mary is come?! In my mind's eye it should, because how ungrateful a** you should be, to left the donkey who is drag on your pregnant wife, to freeze outside, thill some stranger cows are in. But I'm not enough religious literate, to know this.

Kay, I'm so curious to know your fast method for literature analysis! Two books per day is awesome ability! How you feels about the snow?! Is it something that you like? At least sounds so pretty!

:thumb: I did it!!! I edited this post so many times that is surprising how not lost it. And still no one is come to fix the stupid box! :-x

good morning - had such a good time with my hockey friends and their kids. The kids are just too cute. Their parents said they loved seeing hockey game live but had to leave as it got to0 late for the kids. Their daughter thought that they were going to a game when I came over but no it was just to see a player. When she got home she was not happy. But this was one of the best autograph signings as their was no line. The Devils held a Winterfest in Newark at the same time so a lot of people were there. It was awesome as you could actually ask questions. He is really nice. Came home watched the final period of the Ducks vs the Capitals and it was awesome as the Ducks won 6-5 after being down 5-1. LOL. Tonight my team plays the Lightning and I can only hope it goes better than it has in the previous meetings where my team loses really badly. It will be interesting to see who the coach puts in as goalie. What are they going to do about Cory Schneider and how he lets in early goals and the team cannot score. Got no scrapping done. I really should have started this post about my DH. I came home to him preparing a Thanksgiving meal. OMgosh it was so good. I was so happy. Now I have turkey for sandwiches and all the sides. He makes the best mashed potatoes and they are never the same. He puts in different cheeses and veggies. This time he put in cheese and horseradish. Spicy and delish. And he then made a pumpkin pie. Now I am happy! I really do love turkey. Found out my son does not like turkey or pumpkin pie. good more for my DH and I. LOL.

Chris glad that your products are mostly done and you can see your table. Have fun scrapping pages. It will be great to get this album done. Are the kids getting ready for the semester to be done. My DH said only 3 weeks left and he is happy.

Trudy sounds like one busy day! But with family must be so much fun!

Rae so glad that you are feeling better but as Chris says don't over extend. Reading in ones jammies is so fun! And yes I am so lucky to be able to travel as I have.

Kay good luck today with SS.

Jean it must be so fun listening to the H&S practice and then to go to the sing a long. Glad you had enough orzo salad to bring it home for dinner.

Felis so glad that the internet did not fail. Hope they get the box fixed soon. And I totally agree I would so much rather meet a person than a gold bracelet. My page with the photos from Sweden is almost filled with all the players. I love that.

Zanthia hope the dog visit turned out well. I have to agree that a baby crying is not worse than a dog barking.

Angela hope the art work got finished.

Have a great day all!

hello ladies, looks like you are all busy. I don't have dogs, so I'm finding your story rather funny Chris.

Felis, whether there is a donkey or not generally depends on how many actors you have. The one the children are doing next week does.

The kids will be home from school shortly, it's my son's 13th birthday today. Two teenagers now ....

Morning O-zies!! Happy Monday to you all! I slept in til 7:30!! Yay me!! :bliss: Yesterday was a very busy day, but we got the Christmas tree and a few other decorations out for SIL! She was very happy to have the help! Her crawl space where she stores stuff is very, very low and you have to be on your hands and knees Ugh! So I helped her fluff up her artificial tree and then we headed back home. Watched the latest episode of Outlander (it was so good!!) Started reading a book that my DIL Jackie gave to me a while back and I think it is going to be a really good one! It is called "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. Have any of you read it? Today I need to get started on a making a compilation of videos for our Son's upcoming 40th birthday. So many friends and relatives have sent me little videos wishing him a happy 40th, it should be a fun thing to surprise him with on the big day! Also need to do some scrapping for the 12 Days and spend some time catching up on all the festivities!!

Chris - You have been a very busy woman!! I was giggling to myself about the dogs not sitting still for your photo. Hope that they got at least one good one of all of you! Glad that you are pretty much ready with all your faery wings goodies! They all look so amazing!! You are such a talented faery! Good luck finishing off the Alaska pages!!

Felis - I too like the idea of winter, but not having to deal with snow, all the shoveling etc. Looks pretty on top of the mountains, but hope it stays there LOL. As for the Donkey in the Nativity? Most of the Nativity scenes that I have looked at include the Donkey, guess it depends on how much room they have to set it up. Yes I think the Donkey is much more important than the cows too, but I guess it is where the birth happened in a stable where the cows are kept. Hope you are having fun here with the 12 Days of Christmas! I really need to get to the gallery and see what you have done!

Nancy - DH and I were very upset that we could not find the Bruins game the other night on tv anywhere :mmph: seems it was the only one that was not on here!! Could not even find it on Kodi, that was so frustrating! Oh well they lost so maybe its better we did not get to witness the fighting! DH goes on his computer and watches all the highlights though. As for Hunter's finger, I think it is probably much better today. Thanks for asking! I am waiting to hear from them this morning, he must still be napping and will call after he wakes up. Wow lucky you to have your hubby make you the turkey dinner you missed so much! What a great guy!! He is a keeper!! You autograph session sounds like it was great! Glad you got to partake in it!

Zanthia - Hope all went well with the dog visit! Hope that your Mouse finger is working better today too!!

Rae - Costco was amazily not that busy! Not sure why :noidea: the traffic was not bad going to and coming from Victoria either. Very strange for a Saturday! I really need to check out those puzzles at Staples. Wonder if it is too late to get one done? I am struggling as to what get DH for Christmas and seeing as we are just supposed to do stocking stuffers it might be a great thing to try to get one for him. Hope your work day is not to heavy today!

Jean - Glad that the pot luck dinner was good and you also got to bring home some leftovers!! :hungry: Hope that the nice weather holds out for you! It is very foggy here again this morning, but sunshine for most of the week. Colder temps when the sky is clear, but no snow so that is great! Have fun scrapping here for the 12 Days!

Angela - Your paintings are awesome so full of fun and good cheer! Hope the play went well for the kids! :HapBirth: to your son!! Two teenagers wow! My oldest is going to be 40 on the 11th, wish he was only 13 again, then I would be so much younger also! :becky:

Alright I am off to the gallery, then I need to pay some bills and hopefully hear from Heather and Hunter soon! Need to do some behind the scene things here at the O too, it should be a busy morning! Have a great day everyone!

hi all

meeting with the dog went very well - the foster family is wonderful . Dory is great and yes the barking is quite bad when in a crate. The foster family is even willing to pay out of their own money a complete 6 week training session at petco . Even the shelter people were shocked at that. they have had many dogs in their life and say dory is the smartest dog they have seen. We took her for a walk and she walks pretty well. a dog barked in a house while on the walk - dory turned and looked but did not bark. She loves people, other dogs and car rides. at the house she soon chilled and was just chewing on an antler. she is a power chewer so super tough toys only. being a year old she does have the typical puppy issues but those im not concerned with. She only chews on dog stuff, not shoes, furniture or wires as long as she is not in a crate. Initially they had the crate next to their couch and she got to it in the couch so crate needs to be away from walls ,furniture, etc

Dory does have a vet appt today . Not sure if they are going to try some medication or not. dory is eligible for what is called Slumber Pawty which means you can take her for a week to see how it works. the shelter provides everything meaning food, treats, toys and even a crate. So we are going to do this, we will pick her up tuesday night. this gives us time to make sure house i s somewhat puppy proofed. we do have a good spot for the crate in our living room away from walls and furniture.

Late getting in here this morning. Actually slept in until 6 AM... whoo-whee! Maybe I am slowly getting my bod adjusted to sleeping a bit later... I hope!

Didn't made it over to the SS office. Got an email notice yesterday that "there was suspicions activity" on one of my banking accounts. Spent 2 hours on the phone with them yesterday. Thank heavens whoever it was didn't get access to the account! The bank was on top of it and protected the account. Then had to go in to see 'my banker' and get it all straightened out this morning. Decided that I was too 'wrung out' to deal with the SoSecurity stuff today. Will also wait until later this week to go to the base to get the meds.

Needless to say, I didn't finish book #4 yesterday. About halfway through it. Just got a notice from the Red Hat Book club that they have made the Jan selection..."Tree Grows In Brooklyn". Put it on the waiting list at the library - and got the notice that one of my reserved book is now ready for pick-up - but the library is closed on Monday. Will run by and get it tomorrow.

Feliz, this series is a fast read since I have read them before. I am a fast reader anyway. When I am stressed, I go back to re-read favorite books/series to get my mind to calm down/relax.

Our snow didn't last long... once the sun came out it melted quickly. I did manage to get a couple of photos in the sun before it was gone. Then we had a blustery day with light rain... then small hail... then some light snow that melted away. Nice day today but more wintry weather coming our way mid-week.

Zanthia, I understand your reservations about a barking dog while living in an apartment bldg. Hoping you can one that will work for you. I am so sorry that your arthritis is acting up in your hand.

Gotta run as I have a couple of LOs that have to be before 4PM today! Will try to catch up with everyone later.

Good morning ladies. I'm totally swamped with work. I just wanted to pop in and say hi. Nothing on my plate today except work, work, work.....

Chris - I can't wait to see the pics LOL Taz will go next Sat morning for his Santa pic.

Felis - thx for the book recommendation. If I can find it I'll read it and see if it might be one B can read. Like you said, if the grandma dies in it, it might trigger her memory of my mom dying which comes and goes and is always upsetting for her. But, I'll check it out if I can.

Trudy - amazing about costco not being too busy. The puzzles are awesome and packaged really nicely too. Ours too a week to be ready for pickup. I read that book and it is a good one.

Stacey - I'm so happy for you. Hope the week long visit goes well.

Nancy - lucky you, homemade pumpkin pie...yum!

Angela - how did the sewing with your girls turn out?

Kay - good thing your bank caught the suspicious activity. Haven't heard of that book so will have to check it out. If you haven't read them yet, you might like the Carey Baldwin books (Cassidy & Spencer series).

Gotta get back to work. A long day ahead of me. Have a good day everyone!

Gray and a bit rainy (or something) today. DH was a Hum & Strum this morning and I did the bills thing. In a bit we're going to the library and to look at maybe getting a much-needed new vacuum cleaner. What excitement!

Chris, sounds like F-W is in good shape and the Alaska album will be done and beautiful in no time (love the seals page!) I can only try to imagine the mayhem J & W and all of you presented. Want to see the photo!

Felis, you did well despite the Internet problems in getting in your post. Maybe the weather will get better and you can complain about the mud instead. :becky: Loved your million euros idea. It would be a great thing. Neuter and spay programs have some support here in town but not so much rural I think.

Nancy, hubby's turkey dinner sounds absolutely wonderful! How very nice. To get that on top of a fun autograph party must have made a super day. Best wishes to the Devils tonight.

Angela, another Happy Birthday wish to your new teenager!

Trudy, you're such a busy lady. Good for you helping SIL. That crawl space is well named. The videos for DS's 40th will be so good. Gift for you as well as him.

Zanthia, that dog sounds pretty special. Good luck with the trial week.

Kay, good thing you slept later with all the annoyances you're having to deal with. Good luck with the rest of them.

Rae, all that work seems to be your normal. Hope you get time after it's all done for other things. BTW your LO for the Dec. 52 Inspirations is so beautiful!
