hey hey! It's Monday, is everyone ready for the week? Now that I have my coffee, I am feeling pretty good to go.

Did you all have a nice weekend? I could not get warm at all yesterday. It was awful, I was wearing my Comfy with the hood up and everything and I still was frozen solid. I was able to keep my hands free so I could scrap a little bit. I got one page done and one is almost ready to go. You might ask-- So, Faery, how ya doin' on Christopher's album?
My response in emojis:
:exitroom::couchhide::lalalala::motorcycle1:

Sums it up quite accurately

I am going to push myself this morning to get everything done inside that needs to be done because it is supposed to get close to 60* and sunny! I have two more garden areas that need to be cleared of the wet, dead leaves so that's my main focus today. My list is looking somewhat "thin" at the moment but I'll bet that once I get rolling, it will fill up quickly.

HAGD!!

@LSlycord I hope your weekend wasn't too hectic and that you are ready for the work week. We got you -- so if you start to feel overwhelmed-- we got you :grouphugyay:
I am going to check out Night Agent. I feel like I read a book with that name..... is it based on a book? We finished a few more series this past week and we are almost done with Them on Amazon. I don't know if either of us is up to watching more of it. The last episode we saw was intense and not in a good way.
Have any of you seen the entire season? Is it worth finishing? I thought it was more supernatural horror rather than awful people horror.
It's nice being able to cook an old family recipe. Enjoy every bite of the potato salad.

@Nonni F That's what my friend and I were saying too -- the snow we got on Thursday was very heavy and icy. Then we are walking 48 hours later in t-shirts. Back down to freezing my butt off again yesterday.
Lyme is brutal. Thankfully we have a really good LLMD that we have been seeing since 2007-8. She was able to get us in to see a pediatric LLMD when the kids were diagnosed in 2008.
I don't think my friend's DD has a current Lyme infection based on the lab work and I spent hours combing through it. I hope that it helps, her son also has it and a ton of co-infections. His behavior was off the charts and she had to put him in a behavioral school FT.
Ironic fact: I met her when I had to pull Scott out of school when his Lyme was off the charts too. She was his home instructor so she knows I get it.

What kind of camera does your dad use? His photos are just incredible

@bcgal00 And now on to another incredible photographer, here's Rae! I can look at your photos all day long.
You are making so many friends and having so many fantastic experiences since you moved. I know it was hard for many reasons but I think you found your groove. I am very happy for you:heartpumpred:
Your trip sounds like it is going to be a blast, did you ever get your rubber duckies? (Oh no, I am going to have Ernie's rubber ducky song in my head now. And if I have to get it stuck - so do you: 2:25 Muppet Songs: Ernie - Rubber Duckie)
Sorry, I am

@Su_Sanne I am not sure if you are still struggling with the border challenge. I always have a tough time with that one. I have a small trick to share for the next time. I will look for a template that has a border on it. Then I drag only those layers to a new document. I can then plan my border based on the template.
As for dead layouts on my computer, Yes. I have a lot of them. Or I will have several different versions of the same page. I go through them every once in a while to delete them all.
Hope today is warmer for you too

Arline-- I had seen the headline about the tornado in Jackson, that made news because it destroyed a part of 6 Flags/Great Adventure (amusement park). Then I saw that there were *4* and one hit Sea Girt, which is one town south of where my mom and I stay every year. That area gets hit by hurricanes and noreasters, now they have to worry about tornadoes?
That said, if anyone ever gave me a house down the shore I'd be there so fast and brave it all

Good morning, Chris!!

You've been so busy writing again - you have good words for everyone. This is gorgeous!! Yes, I still fight with the borders. It's hair-pulling :rollingpin1: If I didn't love the Monthley Challenges so much, I would skip the Border Challenge. But that wouldn't give me any leeway if I had to
give up on someone else or ran out of ideas. Well, let's see. Do you really have that much to do with Lyme disease? That's horrible! I don't really know my way around. How are healing chances? When it gets warmer now, the dogs are combed twice a day to drive out the bastards.
So, one more try with the d*** 'peep' border.

I wish you all a good day!!

Happy Monday Morning to all of you!! The sky is sunny, but there is fresh snow on the mountain tops and it is chilly! Zero degrees :brrr:. I should go check on the hummingbird feeder to see if it needs thawing. Poor little birds are having a very cold spring this year! It was another very busy weekend for us. The gender reveal party was fun, a bit different, but fun. And the results of the reveal are... "ITS A GIRL!!" I think it was a bit of a shock for most, as almost everyone on both sides of the family were positive that it would be a boy. Good thing no money was put on it :giggle4:. They would have lost their shirts. LOL. Heather and I both thought it would be a girl and only about two others at the reveal thought the same. Not sure why they do these reveal parties, its not like you can send the baby back if its not the sex that you were expecting it to be. Anyway it was good to visit with everyone and share some laughs too! The In-laws stayed the night and then we drove to the party together, came home and they were on their way back to their place by 3pm. Yesterday I had to run to the grocery store and do a few other errands, got the laundry done:laundry:and made a rotisserie chicken for supper. I have a great toaster oven that does rotisserie chickens to perfection. I just love it! So today I will have to get the vacuuming done, :vacuuming: wash the floors:mopping: and clean the bathrooms. (what no bathroom cleaning emoji??). I saw this morning that my colour play layout got a standing O, it made my day!!

@faerywings - Ok so now I am singing that dam rubber ducky song in my head too! I hope you get to be outside this afternoon in the sunshine! I really need to get into the backyard and start removing the weeds and dead leaves too! My peonies need to be caged before they get much bigger also. Hopefully I can get that done later today. None of the things on my to do list are Me, Me, Monday type things, so I will have to work on something to do for just me today. I have coupons to get out at some point today also, so I will have a busy morning.

@Su_Sanne - Hope you have some luck with that bleeping border challenge!! Hang in there you can do it!! :hanging:.

Ok I have lots to get done this morning, so off to the shower :showering:I go. :haveagoodday:

Good Morning to all,
Not a good weekend for me, health wise. I've been nauseous most of the weekend, able to eat very little. This has been going on for quite some time, as most of you know. So, today I finally made the call and I have a Dr. appointment for tomorrow morning. I'm so thankful I could get an appointment so quickly!
Since I was mostly glued to my recliner this weekend, I did get the sweater done.
IMG_20230402_203427608_MP~2web.jpg
That will be my last yarn project for awhile, I think.

I did get a challenge page done yesterday, but had no real mojo. I'm thinking of stepping down from the team for awhile until I can get my health issues settled. I will talk to Ona and see what she thinks. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated concerning my health issues! I'm going to discuss my headaches with the doctor, too.

Good morning ladies. I will scrap a bit today maybe and go to the dog park later. I am starting to get really excited about our trip, we leave next Sat morning. Today I'm going to put medications in my carry-on so it doesn't get forgotten. Over the wkend I started getting little things packed like playing cards, dice, score pads, etc for game playing. I ordered a new dice game that should come a few days before we leave.

The flickers are still drumming, do their mating ritual (above two windows on the top floor). Right now he is outside the bedroom window, pecking away. Hope they either hook up or move on soon (or at least start later in the day b/c they start it anytime between 5-6:30).

Today I'll make keto slaw for dinner.

@faerywings got my 40 little rubber duckies in my suitcase, along with tags to fill out cruise info on them and our last name, that get tied around the necks of the duckies before we hide them. It'll be fun to see who find them and whichever ones aren't found, they may be found by the next cruise trip people. The space that takes in my suitcase will be filled up for the trip home by a few souvenirs and mugs. I checked the info for Night Agent and it looks good, that will go on our to-watch list and I know Jen will want to watch it too. We finished Mayfair Witches last night and it was good.

@taxed4ever Sounds like a fun time at the party. Sounds like an organized day of chores and cooking today. It's warming up during the day here but night time is still dipping down to freezing. Everyone here says spring is very late coming here. Many ponds and rivers are still frozen which shouldn't be by now. Weird weather everywhere.

Time to hop in the shower and get on with my day. HAGD everyone.

Thanks, Rae! That's the plan.....rest and listen to my audiobook today. I didn't sleep very well last night and was up and down, so the rest will do me good, I think.....I hope! Haven't been able to eat yet today. Hopefully by the time Mark gets home I will feel like fixing and eating something.

Good afternoon. Using some lunch hour time to catch up on my posting. Yesterday was filled with basketball (women's championship...all of us gathered around the TV with Sydney Facetiming) and although it didn't turn out the way that we wanted, it was fun to watch. I did get Grandma's potato salad made. I also finished binging Night Agent and I highly recommend it.

Syd texted at 10:30 last night...stressing about two exams this week. One tonight and then Physics 2 on Wednesday night. I sat down with Shaun yesterday afternoon to make sure that he had a plan to get through all of his assignments. He was a bit overwhelmed...definitely too much procrastination and needed someone to look at it with him. Unfortunately, college seems to be a stressor for me as well as for them. ;)

Our neighbors sold their house this weekend. This was the grumpy old man who was so unpleasant about the birds. I'm hoping that our next neighbors will be more pleasant.

I'm going to need that stroller - I'm hoping to move my babies outside this week. They're ready!! I've missed you too!! They're all over the kitchen. :giggle4: Roger isn't doing all that well. He's been in a lot of pain and can't do much because one arm is immobilized. He's not a happy camper. The dogs are all cray cray as usual. We had Bailey yesterday and Lila has been staying here until Roger recuperates a bit. They were all 4 here for one day over the weekend. It's the usual circus. :walkingdog:

@bkasko oh that sounds awful. Remind me where you live. I love daffodils...but they don't need snow now that it is in April.

@vickyday I love your sweater. But I sure do hate it that you are having such an awful time with your stomach. Glad that the doctor can see you tomorrow. I hope that he/she can help and I hope that you get some rest today. Prayers coming your way.

@bcgal00 love the rubber ducky plan. I have that on my list for things to do next winter before we take our cruise. I have a similar recipe for eggroll bowls. Shaun loves them!

Linda - good luck with the new neighbors. I was never that lucky - the "mean neighbors" never left - they were snowbirds though, so we got a few months of reprieve. The whole atmosphere changed when they migrated back each year. How's the new job going?

Thanks, Linda. He was convinced that he wouldn't have as much pain and immobility as he's experiencing. The immobility is bothering him the most. The pain meds are barely even touching the pain.

I'm so sorry, Vicky, that you're not doing so well! I know that when you're just busy with yourself. But please don't worry too much. Often there is just a little thing behind it or you have a deficiency somewhere. Let the doctor help you, that's the first step. Please get in touch in between. I keep my fingers crossed and I wish you a speedy recovery! :heartpumpred:

@faerywings I wanted a special note for you. When you recall how hard it was for you and your family dealing with Lyme, my heart hurts. You had such a hard time, including dealing with a medical profession that wasn't ready to really acknowledge the truth. You did a remarkable job of keeping it together for you and Gary and the kids. And now look at your kids...WOW! I don't know that I've ever told you this...but I sure am proud of having a friend who withstood the diversity and didn't become bitter, didn't let your kids become bitter... You are amazing. And each morning when I make it in here to read the Daily O's, I feel so cared about. You set that tone!

Trudy, are you talking about those baby parties like we see on American TV shows? I've always loved watching the Gilmore Girls and there was one once. There are gifts and games and everyone is having fun with little hats on their heads. But these parties have been around for a long time. However, not to this extent in Germany. Although we like to emulate you in many ways. I'm tired of Border today! So I bought some nice kits from ETD and I'll start again tomorrow with new material. Then I hobble to the pedicure. I hope she's careful. My DH has to drive me, I don't dare to do that yet.
