Hello lovely Ooos! Gary brought me a laptop and I don't think that I am much using the touchpad then the tablet but I am trying. If I don't get my brain chugging along, I will be bananas in no time. I am BORED!!!
The good news for today though, is that I get to try and take a bath. I had to call and ask if I could do that since I was told no showering/out of bed and all that :blah: But there is no way I want to deal with myself that long hahah!!!
My mom is coming up this afternoon with the load of laundry I sent her home with and will take home another load too. Thank goodness that she doesn't mind.
Speak of the devil, she just called.
How is the party? The avatars are so freaking cute! I wish I could be scraping along but I think I am going to be spending most of my time in the gallery. It is looking really good already in there. Again, I apologize for no personals-- but I am sending love to all of you

Glad to see you here, Chris. Yep... staying in bed is the pits. Hint: have someone pick up some of those pre-moist cleaning tissues [like the ones for cleaning your face]. They are great for cleaning the body, too and a lot easier than trying to do a bed bath! I used them when I had the flu and was stuck in bed for over a week. Glad your mom is helping out with doing the laundry. What a terrible time for the washer to break-down.

Woke up early this morning - 6:45 AM - to look out and see the moon shining down and lighting up the whole neighborhood. Still can't get used to the sun not coming up until around 7:30. Stumbled around getting the coffee on and now I am :ranger: trying to get the brain to wake up.

Had a nice lunch yesterday... and had a surprise when one of the gentlemen picked up the ticket for the group!!! Managed to stop by the grocery store and get a few things [milk and veggies] but wasn't in the mood to run my other errands so came on home. Lost a friend this week so feeling sad.

Morning ladies... We were supposed to have rain yesterday, but not a drop fell :mmph: I can't believe how dry it is already and after all that snow that we had too. Today is another crazy day of trying to get everything accomplished in less time than we thought we originally had. We are to go to SIL Linda's birthday supper at a Chinese Restaurant in her town and we were all looking forward to seeing her grands and her son and his wife. However she text us last night saying that they had to get on the road to be back home for his new job starting on Monday. So could we come to her house at 1pm instead. I never found a thing for the kids yesterday, but I did get her gift all wrapped. Now I am in panic mode trying to think of what to get for her grandkids :noidea: Oh well I will see what my trip to the toy store goes like I guess. I need to get groceries today too, but that might have to wait until tomorrow. Then I suppose Sunday will be more work in the yard too as long as it is not raining. Lots of fun here at the O for the Birthday and I hope to be much more active with that come Monday!! Weekends are always so busy for us, its crazy!!

Chris - I can't imagine being in bed for a week!! I hope that you are not going too crazy and it is good that you have a laptop to use at least! Bet you are getting lots of reading done too! Hope that your bath goes well! Be careful with that foot of yours!! Nice that your Mom is getting the :washing: done for you and the family! She is a gem!! I am killing myself laughing at all the new avatars!! What a good idea you had! You are so clever!! Enjoy browsing the gallery, so much beauty there!

Kay - Wow! Someone picked up the tab for the whole group!! That was pretty great! I got up the other night to use the bathroom and thought that the light was left on. We have a skylight in our bathroom and the moon was shining so bright it was like daylight! Have fun at the party today!

Well I better get going and get DH his breakfast so we can get this day started and get what needs to be done, done. Have fun today everyone, I will try to catch up with all of you later on!

good afternoon! Well just got back from my NJ Devils game and they defeated Coyotes 2-1 in a shoot out. I was hoping the Coyotes would win but they got a point so that should help them in their play off hopes. I was up early at PT. I had a new therapist and she was funny and she even said she was going to torture me. She did not but it was funny. Then home shower and ready for the game. Turns out my youngest son and his friend brought a new friend to the game. He is from Ireland and it was his first game. He did not see many goals but he got to see an OT and a shoot out. So now I am tired. I got a lot of walking done so that is good. Not to just watch hockey all night.

Chris so proud of you. Hope the bath goes well but be careful. I am sure you are bored! How lucky to have a mom to help with the laundry!

Trudy you really do have busy weekends. Have fun with your SIL and the grands!

Waving to all!
Have a great day!

We had a sunny day but chilly still. Mostly just watching NCAA basketball for DH and a nice long talk with his brother.

Chris, hope the bath worked out but Kay had a good idea for a quick cleanup. I know you have to be bored silly, but hope you can visit the gallery and forum for the fun stuff here.

Kay, how nice to see the bright moon, but not so nice to wake early. Hope you got the coffee to perk you up.

Trudy, the moon in the skylight story sounds fun. I sometimes see it shining into our "treehouse" (upstairs back porch thing) at night and it looks so different. Your busy weekend really got busier with the moved up time. Know it will have been a good visit.

Nancy, glad the PT "torture" wasn't! You must be doing quite well and with all the walking later. Happiness must be getting to the games again.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Hey gang. Nice to hear all the news. I feel like I am getting to know you all a bit better.
We had some not so great news. When we took our little Joey in for his yearly shots the vet found a lump in his groin. It is the size of an egg! Tests were taken..oooh nasty ones but the lump is not cancer. Yay however it does need to be removed as it will block his ability to eliminate. So Wednesday is surgery day. Sigh
Company coming for supper today. The roast is in and the house cleaned. Whew.

Chris, when I was in bed for a week with my knee I binge watched netflix most of the day on my ipad. Or I read. The nicest part of the day was when Hubby brought all my meals in on a tray. There was no way I could scrap.

One more day down and hopefully, only a few more to go! I think I might try to work on some crocheting today while I watch some Netflix.
Gary is running down to Home Depot with his dad in a bit to order the washing machine with FILs veteran's discount. Then he off to my MILs brother's house to bring home a TV and a digital clock. Apparently MILs brother was a pack rat. Cait is in charge while Gary is gone so if I disappear, blame it on her :D

Kay- that is a great idea-- and the box over the foot was another great one.Gary rigged up a wire cover to put over my foot- like tomato cage hahaha!-- and what a difference that was.Gotta go, whisky is jumpingon me!

Morning O-zies, just a quick pop in and out of here again today! It is chilly this morning but the sun is out and the neighbour's cherry tree across the street is in full bloom and looking sooooo beautiful! It was a nice visit yesterday with my Nephew and his family and then we took SIL to meet everyone at the Chinese food place. An interesting evening to say the least with five out of the eight of us having hearing problems!! I have never repeated myself so much in my life LOL. Then we all went back to SIL's for a glass of wine and a bit more conversation. I'm sorry what did you say ??? :becky: It sucks to get old!! Today is more yard work to finally finish off getting all the pine cones and branches off the backyard around the shed and then Horray we will be done! DH will be happy to be able to cut the grass soon! I have to go grocery shopping and then I might be able to get back here for a bit. (fingers crossed!)

Chris - It sounds like you are doing well with your recovery! Hooray you will soon have a new washing machine!! :bliss: I am sure there are many other things that you would rather purchase, but hey we need clean clothes right? Take care of that foot!!

Nancy - Nice to hear that your Devils won that game against the Coyotes! DH had to miss the Bruins game last night for the birthday party, but I kept track of the score for him on my phone. He was pretty happy with the win! What a nice story about the friend from Ireland! Hope he loved the game!

Jean - It is chilly here also! When will the weather ever warm up? Hope you are having a good time at the Party!

Kythe - Sorry to hear about your fur baby! Glad that it is not cancer, but ugh another Vet Bill!!! Hope the surgery goes well on Wednesday!

Well I best get the scrambled eggs going and then get to the grocery store. Need to put in the :washing: too. I hope you all have a great time at the Birthday Party! I really want to play the Gallery Praise Game!

Not much happening here except NCAA basketball on TV. It would be nice if Ohio State would win another one tonight.

Chris, good things happening like getting a new washer and the rig G made to protect your foot. Hope Cait doesn't let/make you disappear!!!

Trudy, the cherry blossoms wouldn't be blooming here where the daffodils don't even have buds yet. But it should warm up on Thursday and Friday. (Can you hear me now?) Know what you mean about hearing! How nice it will be when the yard is clear, but cutting grass already? Wow.

Hope everyone is getting into the birthday party!

good afternoon - had a good walk with Luther and my DH. A beautiful day. Sunny and in the mid-50s. You can see trees budding. Makes me very happy! A forsythia is in bloom down by the river. Ah spring is really coming!

Chris so glad that you are doing well! Good for all your family helping out. I am sure that Cait will do very well!

Trudy sounds like a fun day and evening even if you all have to keep repeating yourselves. Glad your lawn is looking good. Ours is so soggy nothing is good right now except that it is easy for Luther to burying his bones.

Jean have you seen any good birds coming through. We are hearing so many redwing blackbirds and we are seeing so many robins. Must be spring. Enjoy the NCAA basketball. I am looking forward to seeing the teams for the NCAA hockey!

Kathe so glad that the results for your Joey showing no cancer. Hoping the surgery goes well. No fun when our doggies are sick. Sending lots of hugs!

Have a great day all!

Good morning peeps

I spent a long bit of time in the sketch challenge gallery this morning. My, but there are a lot of entries to comment on. Most are pretty literal in their interpretation but there are some truly lovely pages with very imaginative creations all staying with the initial concept. To be so creative. sigh

We had a lovely dinner and visit with the step son and his partner last night. It has been a long time since I laughed so much. Of course we started to talk about movies and that lasted for a good amount of time. We watched the Green book. Have you seen it. Based on a true story. Really good movie IMO

Happy to hear that the confinement is going well Chris.

Trudy, The spring blossoms are a delight to see. They just popped out overnight it seems. I can see that the big maples are ready to burst into leaf as well.

Hello girls,
I had hard time with my computer's damage, looks like will have to find decision sooner than I hoped! However today was boring day with house cleaning, and pop often to see did the computer is start working, but it wasn't. I'm not happy from my cleaning results because I was too forgetful. Now will have to repair imperfections whole week :) .
For contrast Saturday was lovely day. We decided not to go on our regular grocery shopping, but to make small car trip. Visited this town where have candy and chocolate desserts sell by the manufacturer, so they are on low prices. Before my family was went it without me, so for me was new and really pleasure. Literaly kid at candy shop. And we go not on highway, but old panoramic road. It's so beautiful to watch the wake up nature. Many trees and bushes in bloom, white, yellow, pink and every nuances of green. I come home so tired, the traveling tireds me much. But at the night I was so inspired and scrap few new pages. Nope, I'm still not sit to finish these layouts that started before, but hope to make it soon!

Chris, pff, you are like my dad, you just can't stand still for a long. I hope to find something that to keep your hands busy. How nice from your moms to take laundry, instead of Chris! Poor girl, to catch cold, exactly when she was supposed to be the housewife in your house! Good luck with the finding of new washing machine! Are you was able to see what happens with your tattoo, or still is bandage?

Trudy, how fun to have a family meeting! Yes, the O party is so fun! Love all that happens, but yes, I also want to be more active into the gallery!

Jean, your spring page is awesome! Such a lovely birds photos you have!

Kythe, fingers crossed all with the surgery to go well! Keep us update! Poor baby, at least it's not the worst!
I'm not watched the Green book yeth, but it is in my To Do List! With sure will do it, because we are so proud that bulgarian is starring at Oscars won film. Was so cute when on a ceremony Dimiter Marinov was standing next to Mahershala Ali, whit our flag in his pocket and the prise in his hand.

Kay, did you finally was in this restaurant that you wanted Red Lobster?! Yes, few friends complain that moon sneak thru their windows upset their sleep. But I adore her! Was nice to watch it! So sorry for your friend, very sad indeed!

Nancy, so Is it fun to invite new friends to comes with you on the games or is annoying to explain them all the time?! On a walk with Luther down by the river, wow, this sounds as a long distance!
