Happy New Year!!!!
let's take a headcount- who made it to midnight? Anyone?
Not me! Not that I ever do but part of me was happy to ignore it all. It felt sort of strange when I woke up this morning and wondered - as I typically do-- what day is it? I remembered that it was Saturday *and* 2022. Not bad, Faery.

Yesterday turned out to be another puttering about day. I kept saying that I had to do stuff but not much got done. Tom, Cait, and I started to work on one of the puzzles she got for Xmas. One of the nice things about puzzles is that time flies by and it is good to focus on something very different. I don't know how it started but Caitlyn and I trash talk each other when we do puzzles and that always makes us laugh. Scott had a horrible day, physically and mentally. He was clammy and shaky/chills and was worried that he might have covid. I ran around town looking for rapid tests and thankfully was able to get two boxes. He was negative, thank goodness, but that also meant he wasn't up to go on the hike that he was looking fwd to.

My goal today is to get the tree down this morning. And I want to maybe scrap the pictures I have of the babies. I wanted to do that yesterday but *waves one hand in the air* Alas. I did not.
:D

Wish all of you a fabulous new year filled with love and peace.
Enjoy the day and weekend too!

Good morning and Happy New Year to all. We had fireworks in our neighborhood so although I went to bed at 10:45 I was awake again at about 11:45 and I did see the New Year from my bed. Thanks neighbors! LOL

Another very slow paced day yesterday. Didn't accomplish anything but watching football. Today everyone but Sydney (who is already at work) will head to the Citrus Bowl. Hope it's a good game. Still working on my Vision Board but don't have a lot of time to scrap right now. Would still like to finish it by the end of the week.

I'll be back for personals later tonight.

@LSlycord sitting on the lanai and catching up with your friend sounds incredible to me. Andie must be so darn adorable paddling around in the water. Will she go in the pool if no one else is around?

@Cherylndesigns uh-oh! I am sending you super good sleep vibes- from someone other than myself! I would hate for anyone to catch the insomnia and horrible sleep patterns that I have. eep.
*grins* I know you know this, but yup, I am in fake it til ya make it mode but that is a good sign. It is when I don't have the energy to fake it that shows I am in worse shape than usual, hehe
Did you end up going to Adrienne's? It's so smart of Chuck to be super-careful since he has lung issues to begin with. I am relieved that you got boosted when you did, I know the side effects suck but it sure gives some peace of mind.

BTW: One of the things that made Scott mad as he saw some of the texts between the two cheaters the other night is that they were annoyed that my family was taking COVID precautions so seriously. They didn't want to have to deal with the "Campbell Covid 2020" anymore.
How is that for some seriously messed-up BS?

*deep breaths.. gotta let some of this go......*

I am really proud of you for putting Asher's coat where you can see it and think of the good things and when you will see him again. High 5!!

Linda- the goal of getting in shape before your trip will be the *best* motivation of all, I bet that is prominent on your vision board. yay!
Be safe as you can at the Citrus Bowl today, glad that you are wearing a mask even if it is outside. have a blast and I hope that IA wins!

@BrightEyes That is such a nice memory and image I have of you and Bill on vacation together, you were such an amazing team, weren't you? (still are, always will be)
That sounds like a really big project but how awesome to do it. Your friend is going to be so happy and you will be too- knowing that they will get out to good use.

Are all of the O-zies here doing some sort of decluttering project? Maybe I should join in. God knows I need that.

@tanteva I love that, only you could make a family tradition about an ugly cake. <3 Do you take pics of them every year? It would be hysterical to go back and rate them the ugly to ugliest LOL!
I adore your word- Blossom feels so "good"
Bwuahahahahah!!!!!!!!! SO darn funny that you bought yarn- as long as you placed the order in 2021, it doesn't matter *when * it arrives :p And since it has a flower motif, you can use it for part of "Blossom."

@Cherylndesigns I didn't get to see the babies at all yesterday. With Tom over, I don't feel like I should just hang in Caitlyn's room with them for hours. They brought Cordelia down to see me last night when Gray and I were watching TV. She knew I hadn't seen her and figured I would want to give her NY's kisses. Which I did, rubbed my eyes and got itchy and swollen ;)
I'll take even a fraction of Ava's good energy if she sends some here. Tell her good luck with being an advocate. She is fierce and will be incredible, someone I would be thrilled to have in my corner.

@taxed4ever OMG- I feel terrible, I never asked how your MIL was doing. She is out of the hospital and doing better? Do your ILs have neighbors who can peek in on them if you get a lot more snow?
Hope that the snow you have melts from the roads quickly. What a long trip home for your DS. How are Heather and the boys doing? Lots of healthy vibes to all of them. I can't imagine how the schools here are going to open back up on Monday. NJs cases are sky-high.
Nice upgrades on your computer too!

@mom2triplets04 FYI- the Ooos are a no-stress zone. *snorts* I wish! Seriously, it is a no-extra stress on yourself zone. If you don't have it in you for *any* reason to post or do personals it is absolutely OK. No one here will mind. In fact, we will be more upset if you feel that you *have* to post something.
I hope that whatever you needed up doing last night that you had a fun and relaxing time.
So far, we are feeling fine. Other than Scott not feeling good yesterday, that is. But he hasn't slept or eaten well since everything went down last week. (Wow, it has been a week. Wow.)
My BIL said he had a scratchy throat but was fine other than that. My niece has a sore throat, stuffy nose, and was exhausted/slept all day. They were both vax'd but not boosted. So far *knocks wood* no one else has tested positive.
Hope you all stay healthy. Does Target have mask requirements?
Good job getting the trackers all set up too.
My MIL is a big quilter, she used to go to all of the conventions and shows around the US. me- I can't sew anything. She tried to teach me but sewing needs precision that I don't have. LOL

@bcgal00 Oh no, you seemed like you were doing so good with your back recently. If no other reason, I am happy that D is around to shovel for you, take the dogs outside. :D be soooo very careful on the snow, my back is seizing up on me just thinking about you moving slightly wrong on anything slippery.

@vickyday Happy NY to you too!! Hope you had a fun time with your friend <3

I was in bed and asleep by 9PM last night and slept until 5:30AM... Knowing I had to get my Challenge LO in the gallery first thing this morning had me up and moving shortly thereafter. Other CT stuff kept me going until now. Changed my avatar and now need to work on a new siggy. Just got my 2nd cup of coffee - and my 2nd wind - so popped in to say Happy New Year to all the O's! Let's hope that 2022 will be a much better year for everyone.

Talked to my friend yesterday afternoon and there has been a change in plans vis a vis the stamp collection. Looks like her buying them will be put off for a few months as her 'extra fun money' had been spent on other unexpected things. That is good as it will give me more time to do the inventory. I thought it would happen early in Jan so was rushing to get the inventory done. Whew... can relax and take my time now. I found a few stamp sets that I will be keeping - so far. Know I have a few others that I want to keep so doing the inventory is a good way to find those. I will go ahead and work on decluttering the books which needs to be done before I do the book inventory. Now to find a spot to put them until I donate them.

When I was in the craft room yesterday, I spotted some photo boxes that were not with the other photo boxes... opened them up and realized that I had not scanned most of them into the computer!! Yep... another project for this new year!! o_O ;) Guess I am on a discover, clean, declutter, inventory kick right now. But... I refuse to get side-tracked and look at what needs to be done in the craft room!!! That one is low on my priority list. :p

DD is calling so will be back later to do personals.

Happy New Year girls!
I wish you amazing 2022!

Hope that you was wearing your festive underwear, burn red candle, eat grape and other strange tradition that your region have!
It's really the intention that can make the difference between 2 years and 2 moods! My dad did the same as most of you. He insist that to start on clear after so difficult year, he needs whole night, not just one glass of champagne between the two years and go at the bed earlier.
The other part of our family has enjoying the New Year's Eve TV program. I'm relief that my current dogs aren't upset by the fireworks. And my cats have comfortable hidden places prepared at the cabinets. And I have to admit that beside the awful noise, the fireworks was so gorgeous!

I'm so excited about 2022! Lets do it!

Happy new years to everyone. I had a quiet night. We watched the first 3 episodes of "Sweet Tooth" on Netflix (we really like it) and then I went to bed at 10. The back is a tiny bit better today but I can still barely walk for more than a minute or two and have to wear a brace. I am in a lot of pain so its going to be a quiet day, resting a lot, taking meds. Looks like I can't put on socks anymore, with the bending required. I ordered an aid to help with that, should get it next week.

What a way to start off the new year...ugh. But it should improve again with time so I just have to be patient. So glad I have 3 days to relax and just binge watch shows and do a bit of scrapping.

Hello and happy New Year to my O Fam!! Chris @faerywings I made it past midnight. You KNEW I would. LOL The funny thing - I've never NOT lived in the Eastern Time Zone and it's very anti-climactic to not live there. The NYC festivities (and a few others) all took place at 11 PM my time. So, when midnight rolled around here, it was like "ho hum". hahaha

I kind of watched the celebrations, but since it wasn't midnight here, it was, like I said "anti-climactic".

We were invited to a big party at Adrienne and Roger's but Chuck announced that he wasn't going because of all the sickness. I was going to go for an hour or so but it was horrible here last night - rained SO hard and in the end, I just wasn't up to fighting the weather + take a chance on being around a bunch of people. We all texted and called back and forth and I heard them out shooting guns at midnight. It was just NASTY weather, We kicked back and watched Netflix and I sat with a nice glass of wine, in my fuzzy slippers - YAY for New Years Eve. LOL (I don't know if I told you all, but Roger has been pretty sick - didn't test positive for covid, but still - he was JUST feeling better yesterday.) NO need to risk it!

Ava stopped by earlier in the evening and we spontaneously jumped in her truck and went on "an adventure". It hadn't started to rain yet and she wanted to show me a couple of things that are way out in the woods. She's a hoot! There's a Cherokee Boy Scout Camp that's closed, but they're going to re-open it and the gate is just magnificent. We took some decent pictures, then thanks to her truck, turned around on an embankment and drove out of there. It was a one-car road in and out. Her truck was totally covered in mud when we got home, but we had a great time! So, that was WAY more fun that going to s stodgy party with a bunch of people I don't even know. (We ran into Braden coming down the lane to our house and he said "where in the world have you guys been? Your truck looks like a mud pit". Hahaha We told him we'd been off-roading.

Ray @bcgal00 sorry you had to start off the year in pain. UGH. We need to check out Sweet Tooth.

I was up until 6 am! We had some really strong storms last night and it was better to stay up late than got to bed, just get to sleep and have to get up if the tornado watch turned to warning, which it did, but by-passed us, thankfully. My heart went out to all the folks in Mayfield, Dawson Springs, Benton, and all the other places hit in the outbreak last month. It's incredibly hard to face that monster again so soon.

@faerywings I have suffered from insomnia for 23 years now - since Jason was born. It's the pits. But it seems it's getting better. Maybe it's just that my aging body can't manage on 1-2 hours sleep a night any more, but I'm grateful. Sleeping is my favorite hobby after Genealogy and scrapbooking. If I can make it past the firs 1 1/2-2 hours while asleep, I will get several hours. If not, I'm awake for the duration. Boo!

@Cherylndesigns it was horrible here last night, too, in my corner of western KY. Do you live nearby?

Yes! I actually stayed up until 3 a.m. which is pretty normal for me, actually!
Before we went to our friend's house to eat and play, I basically had the same kind of puttering-around sort of day that you had.....I did manage to motivate the fairies to do the dishes, but that was about it! I got the laundry caught up and put away on Thursday, so don't have to worry about that today, which is my usual laundry day. So I'm floating again today! No dishes to do since we didn't eat supper here last night. So the dish fairies get a break today! Now if I could just find the fairies who cook supper.....I have gotten to the point of despising kitchen work of any kind!

Hi Susan,
I feel your pain with the tornado episodes. I (basically) grew up in Northern KY. Lived through the horrendous tornadoes of 1974, which destroyed our house. I look at storm clouds differently now, for sure!

We didn't get home till 3 am last night. We were at my sister-in-laws house. We were playing some kind of movie blockbuster trivia game. When we got home Myla (the puppy) woke up. Hubby walked her and she went back to sleep in her cage. I was up every hour or so. My son had to go to work at 8 am. Yes, Target has mask manditory but you can still get covid. I then woke up at 12:30 pm at which time Justin (my son) came home from work and Myla was awake. Yup she slept the entire morning.

I did my first day of bible reading. Read Genesis 1 to 3 with bible recap and then listened to a podcast and did my notes.

I don't know where the day went but it's now 4:25 pm and I'm now finally checking in.

Another new meal trying today in instant pot. I'm glad I planned my meals the other day so it was a no brainer this morning to tkae out the chicken to defrost. Here's the recipe I'm going to attempt to make today with rice.

Happy new year to everyone.

I hope to check out the store for new items to put on my wishlist.

@faerywings - Oh poor Scott, bad enough that he is going through this very sad break-up, but now he is not feeling very well!! I am sorry he saw those txts but yes its time to let it all go and move on (I know so much more difficult to actually do!!) Heather and the boys are all doing well, although she is very worried that the boys won't be going back to school. However it was announced the other day that it will only be delayed for a couple of days, not sure why they are bothering with that?? Glad that you are keeping busy with the puzzles, a good way to make the time pass! Hope you get your tree down tomorrow, it is going to take the rest of the weekend for us to do all that un-decorating and then to finally to get it all put away in the dreaded crawlspace! Ugh I hate that crawlspace, our poor aching backs LOL.

@LSlycord - Nice to have a goal of getting into shape before your trip, sure hope that things go smoothly and that they don't cancel your travel plans! That would be awful!! Sorry that the neighbours kept you awake last night, but at least you can say that saw the New Year come in!

@tanteva - Love, love your pendant! I have seen that saying before and thought I should really put that on a t-shirt lol.

@felis - Happy New Year sweetie!! I hope that you will have a wonderful 2022 and sure hope we see much more of you in the gallery here at the O!

@bcgal00 - On noooo I am so sorry that you have thrown your back out again!! Take it easy and please don't walk on the slippery icy sidewalks!! Sure hope all of this wintery weather goes away soon!

@Cherylndesigns - Was probably a good thing that you stayed home from the party, sounds like too many were not feeling good enough. Can't imagine waking up to the sounds of guns going off. that would totally freak me out, but then I am a Canadian and we are not big fans of owning guns. My DH of course had a gun because he was a police officer, but we no longer own any firearms since he retired from the RCMP. Hope that your hubby is feeling better and that you had so much fun off-roading!!

@BrightEyes - Well I guess you will have more time to go through all of your stamps now! Like I said, I wish I lived closer to you I would love to purchase most of your stash LOL. You have been one busy lady, getting things cleaned out and finding treasures that you want to keep.

@Susan - s3js - Gosh I can't imagine living in a tornado area! It's! bad enough to live in an earthquake zone, I would never sleep at night knowing that there could be a possible tornado rip through the area. My son's name is Jason too, he turned 43 years old in December, how did that happen??

@vickyday - Wow you were up until 3am!! There is no way I could do that anymore! If you ever find those dinner making fairies let me know I could really put them to good use!

@mom2triplets04 - Another night owl up til 3am, like I said I could never do that anymore! Too old, body too cranky!! LOL Your instant pot recipe looks amazing I will have to try that one. I love my instant pot!!

Ok I have to let DH have some time on the laptop so he can check his hockey scores, he was one happy man today when his Bruins won in overtime today! Have a great evening ladies, hopefully I will be in here for a bit tomorrow.

I'm still not free from my 'family duty' till the end of this week, but then I'll get back my freedom and I plan to start scrap again.

It's important to delegate first 12 days on things that makes you excited and to make summary of lessons that you learned from previous year. So I'm on that now till waiting so patiently to be able to start work on my new goals and resolutions.

Good morning all. Had a very nice day yesterday. While the temps were hot, we had seats in the shade and the walkway behind us so we got a breeze. It was an exciting game and the outcome was decided in the final minutes. It wasn't the outcome that we wanted but it was a really good day!

We left at 8:30 in the morning and got back to town at 6:30 so stopped at an Italian restaurant and had dinner. I knew I wouldn't be up for cooking. Got back here at 8:15 and I was in bed at 9:00. LOL Got my scrapping plans made for the month...some amazing challenges ahead! Got to go spread a little love in the gallery and then I'll be back for personals.

Hello and Happy Sunday!
(Faery is in *fire* -- I got the days correct the entire weekend! Go ME!!)

I am feeling a bit more like myself today, I slept like crap, but my usual crap sleep. If that makes sense. LOL I also took the tree down and all of the ornaments are boxed up and ready to go into the attic. The house feels bigger again. Gary moved the small loveseat back where it belongs and sat Braxton and his new friends on it. I didn't even get to tell you but Braxton has a new girlfriend. Girlfriend(s)? It is a skeleton with two skulls. We haven't had a chance to name her/them yet because of everything else going on but it is a step in the right direction that we are at least thinking about it. She also got Gary a skeletal Cerebus who is sitting in Braxton's lap alongside the other skele-pups .

I scrapped two calendar pages - well, I finished them but haven't uploaded them yet. It took me two days to make them and they are basically from templates. I had to use photos from Pixabay- I can't go through mine just yet. Scott's friend came over in the afternoon and stayed for dinner with us. She hadn't been here before, at least not since the kids were out of high school. Then he got a call from a friend of a friend. No one had been able to get in touch with the friend. We live close to where she is so he went down to the house to make sure they were ok. I know that being able to help other people gives him a big mental boost. It is a relief to see baby steps of progress, even though I know there will be some steps back.

My other niece tested positive and my SIL is not feeling great and is assuming that she has it too. My MIL/FIL got tested yesterday but won't have results for a few days. We haven't seen any of them since last Sunday so I *think* we should be out of that window. For now. ;)

I am hoping that I can have a productive day again today. I am so far behind on laundry and Cheery O stuff and just about everything I should be doing. But the tree is down and I scrapped 2 pages. baby steps for me as well :)

Have a wonderful and relaxing day!

@tanteva Bwuhahaha! Love your necklace!

@BrightEyes I love the avi- you look absolutely radiant!
That worked out perfectly for you and your friend with stamps. Well, maybe not so perfect if her mad money went to unexpected things. But good that you have that extra time to work on organizing and pricing everything.
Keep telling me about the things you are all decluttering, maybe that motivation will rub off on me.

@felis Happy New Year to you too!!! I am so excited for you, 2022 is going to be fabulous for you! Give the pups and kitties extra New Year snuggles from me.

@bcgal00 what is Sweet Tooth about, is it a cooking show? Or a dentist reality show? :D
So sorry that your back is in such bad shape. *gentle hugs* D picked the best time to retire so he can help you and take the dogs out to play. And to help you put on your socks.

@Cherylndesigns Yeah, I knew my night owl friend would make it to midnight. I never thought about EST being the "standard" for NYE. Doesn't the entire world revolve around NYC? *G*
Netflix, wine, and fuzzy slippers are the way to go!
hehe, the adventure with Ava must have been a blast.

@Susan - s3js I would be in a constant state of anxiety if I lived where tornados were common. (wait, I *do* live in a constant state of anxiety and not where tornadoes are common, how much worse would I be? Ha!) I am relieved that they passed you by, and I hope that they continue to do so.
Insomnia is horrible and I feel like I have tried everything- melatonin, prescriptions. meditations, audiobooks, music, weighted blanket. My brain "clicks on" and that is that. Boo is right.

@vickyday If you ever find fairies that cook, can you ask them to come by my house too?
What a special way to ruing in the new year with your friend

@mom2triplets04 Do you do a lot of cooking in an Instapot? That is something I was interested in but I have a tiny kitchen and nowhere to keep one. The chicken looks delish, how did yours come out?
You are off to a great start, will the Bible podcast help you stay on track with the readings? Good luck and have fun with it.

@taxed4ever Thanks for the good thoughts for Scott, he was able to get a little more sleep the night before and ate half of a sandwich for lunch and pasta for dinner. All of those things are BIG steps.
Did you get your house de-christmased? Be careful putting the boxes away with your back.
Go Bruins! I wish @nancyr was here to talk hockey with you. I am sure she is just having a blast with the new family but I do miss her.
Drat that you lost your post!

@felis I am looking forward to you scrapping again and sharing your crochet projects too

@LSlycord Sorry that your team didn't win but must have been a really exciting game. Hope you are able to rest up today

@faerywings glad that everyone is doing a bit better today. I'm glad that Scott had a friend over. That's really good! And glad that you were able to get the skeletons out to their real places.

@felis I am so glad that you are about finished with your "family duty" and we will be seeing more of you soon!

@mom2triplets04 that Orange Chicken looks really yummy. Between your daily Bible reading and your meal planning, 2022 is off to a really good start.

Well, I'm up! UGH. I swear you are all rubbing off on me. I woke up at 6 AM and laid there until about 7 then finally got up a few minutes ago.

Chris @faerywings you have a new friend for Braxton? How cool! Glad you're feeling a bit better!! We haven't tackled the tree yet. I have to decide what I'm going to put everything in so it can all go up to Adrienne's. I had stuff in several boxes from the move, but I want to consolidate it. She already took my fall and Halloween boxes up. Speaking of Adrienne, she's sick now! I'm SO glad I didn't go to that party. Yes, everything revolves around NYC! Chuck has ALWAYS said that. California, too, even though it's in the last time zone. While the NYE celebration was going on, I felt like I was living in an alternate universe. LOL

I'll pop back for more personals in a bit.

My puter & I aren't friends today. I think it's doing a scan or something. I'm not allowed in, anyway. And I wanted to scrap today!!!

Will be short, cuz I really hate using the phone to post. Autocorrect is killing me. Lol

Started my crochet project today. Forgot it yesterday, so I made 2 squares this morning. Now I need to weave in the ends. Don't want to end up with 200 squares & no ends woven in. Better to do it along the way. It was a bit trickier then I though. Never crochet from a diagram before. But Google is your friend, right?

BRRRRR!!!! Woke up to 17*F this morning! Wind chill puts it down to 7*F!!! Even though the sun is shining, it is too cold to go outside. Definitely time to pull on the long-johns. There is snow on the mountain and all across the state. We only got a trace here in the valley. Had quite a rescue going on yesterday. 21 people got trapped in the Sandia Tram gondola 15 hours overnight when the lines became iced over and the gondolas stopped moving. With snow and fog and high winds... it was quite an ordeal. Ended the next day as each person rappelled down a few hundred feet on a rope with a safety harness on from the gondola then were helicoptered out. They were all Tram workers - some at the restaurant at the top of the mountain. Thank heavens for cell phones as they were able to talk to the rescuers. The Tram line runs 2 miles over very rugged terrain from 5000' in the valley to over 10,000' at the top.

@faerywings Glad to hear that Scott is finally eating and beginning to recover slowly. How sweet that he went to check on a friend. He is such a caring person. So glad you got the tree taken down and furniture back in place. Had to LOL over Braxton getting a girlfriend and new pet!!! Getting the house looking normal should help ease the family without having reminders of the holiday.

@Cherylndesigns Oh, what a hoot you had driving around into the 'out back woods'. So glad you both decided to not go to the party... as it sounds like several others became sick, too. Yes, getting the Christmas packed away and figuring out what boxes to use is a challenge. I use large plastic lidded bins for mine - with an inventory card taped on the end - so I know what is in each one. They stack easily and are very sturdy. Guess I am not everyone - as I don't revolve around NYC time. That comes from living in California off and on for many years.

@tanteva Oh, NO!!! Too bad your computer won't let you in. Hope it will cooperate later on.

@bcgal00 So sorry your back is bad again. You have my upmost sympathy! I have a couple of sock-puller-ons that are live-savers. One is a flexible plastic oval shaped thing with ropes that I love... it stores flat. The other is a hard plastic shaped like a pipe cut in half length-wise with ropes. And my other 'must have' is my reacher. It saves me from bending over to pick things up. Love it when I take things out of the front load washer and/or dryer. Glad your DH is now retired so he can help with walking the dogs and other things you can't do right now. <<< hugs >>>

@taxed4ever Glad to see you back again. Sounds like it was quite a holiday for you and the family. So sorry that their trip home took so long with all the delays. Sorry you lost your long post.

Coffee cup is empty and I need HOT coffee today. Have a great day, all.

Yesterday…… hmmm I believe I scrapped about 4 pages. I spent so much time sitting at the computer my b…… side was sore. today I was up at 6:30 to put the humming bird feeder out. I take it in at night so it doesn’t freeze. At some point I will rig up lights to keep it warm all night. It is warmer today -1C so the snow is slowly melting.
Hubby gets his booster today yay. We will both be up to date now.
I have a pot of corn chowder ready for supper.
I just read that snow is forecast for Monday through Thursday. Oh joy. It is melting at the moment so that means ice under new snow. Another joy.

Good morning ladies. Had a quiet day yesterday, watched some shows and Jen came with Bella for a bit of doggie play. She'll bring Bella back this afternoon for another playdate. I'm exhausted today. I'll be on the computer, have another coffee and then will go lay down for a nap. I was up quite a bit last night, couldn't stay comfortable in bed so couldn't sleep much. I binged 4 episodes of The Big Leap in the middle of the night.

@faerywings Sweet Tooth is a post-pandemic story about a hybrid child Sweet Tooth (Gus) who was born after the virus emerged and a large portion of humanity was wiped out. Netflix is putting out a season 2 so can't wait to see it. Glad Scott is keeping busy.

I'm feeling pretty foggy headed this morning so am going to get out of here for awhile. Have a great day everyone.

Hi again. Kay @BrightEyes I heard about that gondola! How frightening - I just envisioned hanging up there in midair for hours. I'm afraid of heights, so they'd have to beg me to go up in one of those. We don't ski either, but I think somebody got me in one years ago - that must have been some rescue! Didn't know that was so near to you! Your weather and Kythe's sound like ours. In the 70's all of December and today, snow and it got down to 14 last night. It's only supposed to stay like this for 3 or 4 days, thankfully. Ava and I are taking her truck back out as soon as this cold weather snaps. She wants to see if she can climb over that fence that's around the Boy Scout area. I told her she'd better not, so she's going to settle for seeing how far we can walk around it and try to see in.

I was on my computer a lot yesterday, too. My eyes can tell it today. I guess Adrienne's okay today - thank goodness. I think she was just exhausted.

The sun is shining finally, but we did get a bit of snow. We used to call it a "skiff". Haha

Here are 2 night shots. One is of the Cherokee Nation Scout Camp, with Ava's brights shining on it and the other is the tiny lane we had to drive down.

Morning everyone! I spent the weekend getting every last bit of relaxing possible done as I go back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks off.

And today it WARMED UP! Only here can you say that and it’s still in the negatives lol. -3’C today, and after a week of -35 to -40, we went outside (because it’s falling again tomorrow). We had a fire in our back yard with some friends and neighbours, it was a good time! Back to reality tomorrow.
