:faint:

I am so tired and icky feeling. This is my week on Tindamax aka Abx from Hell. I hate how it makes me feel. One good thing is that the typical insane irritability and anger isn't as strong this time. This time around it is serious extreme fatigue. Since today is Lyme dr Visit From Hell for the kids it is going to be a long one. I am so so so so soooooo GRATEFUL for my mom who makes the trip with me. I don't think I could do it all on my own. Although now that Scott has his license he could drive part way. Although he usually feels crummy by the end of the day too. Both kids end up falling asleep in the car on the way home.

Yesterday I was really in the mood to make apple pie but by the time I got home I was exhausted so I took a nice long shower put my pj's on and read in bed for an hour or so. I was reading The Summer We Came to Life. I didn;t think I was going to like it, but I ended up enjoying it.
I felt a bit better so I brought down another box of yard Halloween decorations, just small stuff. But-- it got Gary a bit motivated to bring up Lawnmower Man and is thinking about some stuff he might want to make. I *knew* that if he saw stuff going up outside he would not be able to resist :D
Then I made spinach and artichoke melts for dinner and the 4 of us watched some old episodes of Night Court, then Gary and I watched NCIS: LA and then I went to bed!

Finish It Friday:
So totally NOT going there-- too much to do, and no energy to do it......

Have a great one, my friends!!! (And lurkers-- you are my friends too!! ::grouphug)

I have to make these quick today since I am moving so slowly.

haha! Phyllis, that is me with my to do lists. If not for them I would never get anything done. Good idea about getting up early. I should try maybe even early-ish tomorrow morning. I have been trying to get on the websites when I get home from work, and I bet early afternoon would be the highest traffic.

You all can bash each others hockey teams as much as you like-- and when you are done, feel free to bash the Giants. 0-6. *smh*

Big Bum, that is hysterical!!!!
Hope your neck doesn't hurt too bad. I can't do ceilings at all. Between my neck and my floaters that make me dizzy looking at solid white, it just impossible.

Hope you had a really great day Laurie! What good stuff did you get done?

Grrr to kids, Nancy! Hope this rain passes by quickly. It is so dreary.

Trudy-- LOL-- I am so happy that leggings are coming back in, I agree- love the comfy feel!
When do you leave for your trip? Today? Have a wonderful time if I don';t get to "speak" to you again, Hope that your will be online a bit too.

xoxo

i can't believe it's almost 7:30 and it's STILL really dark out!! i want some SUN!!!

Chris, gentle (((hugs))) to you, kiddo. if possible, do all day what you did yesterday after work: a long shower, PJs and some TV. can't they give you a different antibiotic? or is that the one you have to have? sounds grim. the newer ABX are so strong, and they cross the blood/brain barrier, so mental changes are quite common. this must be so hard to put up with, Chris. good luck. is your weather crappy, too? that can't help how you're feeling, either.

Chris, we had an Obamacare "rally" with the owner of the Steelers and Kathleen Sibelius here in the city yesterday, and none of the laptop-bearing "official" and trained helpers they brought with them was able to access the website. so NO ONE who came to the event (dunno how many showed up at the stadium) was able to sign up. no one. so don't feel bad. your experience seems to be a common one. good luck.

well, got the ceiling painted without falling off the ladder or contracting a giant neck ache. YAY meeee!!! :cheer2: this bathroom is taking forever. the plumber FINALLY got back to us, and he's coming on Monday to put in the new fixtures in the bath/shower. Hubby is doing the rest, so add on another month. i'm tired of having to run upstairs to pee! i have to touch up some of the wall paint today. while i was doing the ceiling, i noticed a lot of wall places that need going over again.

i'm thinking today that i'm going to a local "relax the back" store to see what stuff they have and to try out one of their Zero Gravity chairs. there's NO possible way i'm going to get one of those, since they cost a FORTUNE, but i thought i'd take one for a test drive. just another excuse for me to get out of the suburbs and get into the city.

i'll stop back later to see what everyone's up to. 'til then, enjoy the morning! :becky:

Good morning - again I am feeling very productive. I posted my Calendar pages in case any of you are interested. I know that I am probably spending more by printing my own scrapbook pages but I really love seeing them as they come off the printer. I print them while watching hockey. Today I will put them in the album. Trudy I have a large format printer the HP photosmart B8550. Once I found Red River Paper and saw that they make 12x12 precut paper was all set. Staples even delivers the ink so I can do it all with out even having to leave the comfort of my home LOL. Got in a walk as the rain decided to stay south and even today though it is cloudy it is only supposed to be scattered rain.

Chris did you see the Katie Curic show I think it was Wed - the whole first part of the show focused on Lyme's. They had one doctor who believed in chronic Lyme's and another who did not. I doubt the show would be much interest as far as any thing new but it was good that Lyme's is starting to be talked about on nationwide shows. Hope the doctor's visit go smoothly and you can then go home and have a calm weekend.

Phylis love the story of the "big bum". I talked to my sister yesterday and she and her granddaughter were talking colors and the granddaughter tells my sister she has "old brown" skin. Kids are so truthful and unfiltered. I know what you mean about unfinished projects.

Laurie I have to agree with Phylis you are one productive lady! Have fun putting up the fall decorations.

Trudy sounds like your shopping was productive. I have never liked leggings LOL - I do not like that close fit feeling - give me baggy sweats any day. I do however really like tunics! Have fun with the grandkids.

Have a great day everyone!

Nancy, i do imagine that getting a page out of a 12x12 printer would be impressive!! when i was paper scrapping, i always thought i'd like to have one of those, but i never took the plunge. i wish i had the gumption to do calendars and books. it's been so long since i made anything, it's getting pitiful.

Trudy, me in leggings would be a crime against humanity. but tunics, now we're talking. i never seem to be able to find any. do you have a source online?

Rah!!! :cheer2: DONE with the bathroom painting. at last!!

Morning gals... Lots to do today, :washing: vacuuming, a quick run to the store for a couple of things and then I thought I might go on the hunt for a couple of new books for the Grandkids. Perhaps something about Thanksgiving or Halloween. Last year I got them Halloween Books and Sadie just love the one I picked out for her. Its called "Room on the Broom" A really cute and very well written children's book. Did you see that the Canadian Author Alice Munro won the Nobel Prize for literature? Now I am going to have to check out her books anyone else know of her or read anything of hers? Wish I was more into reading lately, I don't seem to be able to find anything that interests me.

Chris - Sorry that you are feeling so crappy!! Hopefully you will be able to have another relaxing evening and just soak in the tub again! How great is it that your Mom goes with you on these long trips!! You are so lucky to still have her in your life!! I miss my Mom everyday!! Your spinach and artichoke melts sound yummy!! You will have to post the recipe! Gentle  for you my friend, feel better soon!

Laurie - You didn't have to clean up your desk for the challenge, it is supposed to be the way it always is when you sit and scrap LOL!! Mine only looked so clean because I am a bit of freak about clutter so it never has anything on it that doesn't belong there, even my sticky notes have to stay in the drawer. No wonder I never remember to do anything :becky: I know I am very Anal!!

Phylis - Do you think that someone is blocking the internet for the Obamacare Website?? Ohhh I love a good Conspiracy theory !! :heh: Sorry I don't have an online source for the tunics, but I will look around for you. Glad that you got the bathroom all finished and you did not end up with a sore neck!! Hooray!!! Hope your hubby does not take a month to get the rest done for you!! Mine left the house this morning in a foul mood today, seems I forgot to turn down the heat last night??? Hmmmm I seem to recall him being the last to go to bed, wonder who S@#t in his Corn flakes this morning :mmph: MEN!!!!! Oh well I can't be mad today, I'm too excited to see my grandkids tomorrow!

Better get moving and get everything done, still haven't packed and I need to make some more nectar for the hummingbird feeder, my little bully of the neighbourhood is sticking around for the winter again. He keeps all the others from getting any food from "HIS" feeder LOL. Have a great friday everyone and I will see you in a week!!!
