It is Friday!!!
Vicky, you would call it Fri-Yay, IIRC... and I am going to see if I can channel that attitude.
This week went super fast and super slow at the same for me. I know I am getting some things accomplished (I brushed my teeth, it is a start bwahaha!!!).
Great news-- My mom only drove me slightly batty while doing online shopping with her yesterday. That's *way* better than usual. Most times, I am ready for a stiff drink after we do online shopping together. I helped her order gifts for Gary, Scott, Tom, and a few for Caitlyn. and I only got a little snippy once. She was telling me how to search for something for the fourth or fifth time, even though I had already been on that website and they were out of stock. Scott wants new hiking boots and she was fixated on getting them from one store near her. She thought that if I had them shipped to the store, she could somehow get them even though they were not available anywhere on that site.
She also kept insisting that she had paper coupons for me to try. Meanwhile, I had already had Honey searching and been to Coupon Cabin and Rakuten while she was rifling through her papers.
We grabbed a slice of pizza and went to TJ Maxx next door after that. I found a few stocking stuffers and a small gift for Sam. That takes such a weight off of my mind, just the feeling of getting started was huge.
Scott is coming this morning for coffee and other than that, all of my plans are to get more stuff crossed off of my to-do list. I have a bunch of things to do here at the O, prep lesson plans for Tuesday (the microscope has been sitting on my kitchen floor for the last two days, untouched), and text all of the cousins their secret Santas.
Wishing everyone a very happy day!
