whoops! I almost typed that it was October in the subject. It feels more like Oct than Nov. It is in the 50s and it's raining. Dreary but not freezing. I will take it. I am more than a little nervous about how fast the month is going. I made an appt for J's rabies shot and it is on the 22nd- which is the week of Thanksgiving. Which is in less than 2 weeks. [faint smilie]
I am irritated with myself. I have some errands to run around town and I could have done them earlier in the week when it was sunny and warm(ish). But I wasn't in the mood and decided I would go after my vax appt today. I am going to borrow Caitlyn's raincoat I guess. I blew out my hair straight yesterday which means it is gonna go *poooof!* as soon as I walk outside.
Between me and Scott, the house looks decent. He helped take down the Halloween lights cuz even on the ladder I wouldn't reach. And he vacuumed the downstairs for me too. I want to have the LR/DR area at least dusted for my dad's birthday b-fast on Sunday but if the rug looks sort of ok, I won't worry too much about the rest.
I have also decided that I am the world's slowest crocheter. I am making soap sacks-- thought they would be cute to package the soaps/ bath bombs up when I do the gift baskets. Sure, I find a blog with instructions and "whip one of these up in an hour!" It's been waaay more than an hour and I am only halfway done.
Experienced knitters and crocheters: Is this similar to how recipe blogs are written? "make this beautiful cake in 60 minutes" Sure, that time might be accurate if you aren't counting the time it takes to chop the walnuts, melt the butter, so on and so forth.
Or maybe more like Google Maps: Estimated Drive Time: 20 minutes. Sure-- if you aren't counting traffic and stoplights and the person in front of you driving under the speed limit.
Or maybe, just maybe-- I am the world's slowest crocheter ROTFLMAO
Have a fantastic day!
