Happy Cinco de Mayo!
These doggos know how to celebrate!
Me-- I am just happy that I made it through another week and that the weather is finally going to get better tomorrow.
Finally!
I have my seed packets ready to go, and some seedlings to harden off. At some point, I am going to dig up some b-day cash I have tucked aside to buy some tomato plants and basil. Maybe I'll stop by tomorrow, I pass by the garden center on my way home from the FP. That sounds like a really good idea, doesn't it?
Hmmm-- I also pass by it today... I am getting my hair cut and colored (Thank allllll the gods, the last time I had it done was in October. It's quite a mess.) Although if I am spending money on my hair today, my guilt level about buying things for myself will be off the charts. I'll need recovery time before I allow myself to spend any more.
I had another *wild* dream last night. Caitlyn and Tom put an offer on a house and I was so excited for them. Then they dropped the bomb, it was in Missouri. *big sigh of relief* They are not moving to Missouri. Their radius is an hour from here. I might not be very good at geography but even I know that Missouri is much, much farther than that. haha!!
Other than getting my hair cut, I don't have too much going on. That will take a couple of hours and unfortunately, it will burn through all of my social energy. I am not good at small talk anymore. I used to be able to talk to anyone about anything (surprised at that?? HA!!) but in the last few years, it has gotten harder for me to talk to people outside of my core group.
Speaking of which, I finally scrapped pictures from the Murder Mystery Party with the fam.
We got two of them for Christmas so maybe will do that over the summer. Yesterday, Scott and I were talking about our Theme Nights during lockdown and LMBO. We really had so much fun, I love getting people together to be silly.
Finish it Friday:
I don't have too much to finish, per se. However, I have lots of things I need to start. Lots of things.
Clean my desk is one of them. And I definitely need to work on boxing up clothes and household items to donate, they are currently spread along the wall in my BR.
