Hey hey!!! TGIF my O-Fam!! How is everyone today? I am glad that I made it through this week, especially yesterday. Long day (of course!) and it turned out to be more emotionally odd than I expected. Wed I was absolutely fine with going back to the Cancer Center. Gary asked if I needed him to go with me, and I said nope, it was all good. Then when I got up, I started to dread that I had to go there and walk under the Cancer Center sign again. The little hiatus I had the last couple of weeks was so nice. But its all good now, I am discharged from the Radiation dr and I made my appt with the next dude for June 9.

Tomorrow is Relay for Life and I am getting a bit nervous, as I keep saying how I am struggling with the term, "Survivor." Cait asked me why it bothered me so much and the only substantial thing I can think if is that I didn't do anything special. It is what it is, and I did what I had to do. It seems like the people who struggled and died-- Are they then "losers?" Cait replied to me that yes, I did what I had to do but not everyone does. And sometimes life just sucks for people who don't deserve it. My friend who wanted me on her team keeps telling me how proud of me she is so if I don't get out there and do the Survivor Lap, I think she will hit me over the head with a chair. Hahahahaha!! Who knows, maybe everyone else is 100% right and it will be a good and positive experience and that I had nothing to worry about :D

Today I have to go food shopping and then get some scrapping done. I have another coupon for a Shutterfly book so I thought it would be a great idea for me to make a book for my parents 50th wedding anniversary next month. Except I have no pictures of them together. Well, a few.... not enough to make a proper book. Why di I do these things to myself? :?

Finish it Friday....
as I always seems to say-- too much to even think about!

Love and hugs!!!

Phyllis- yup, crazy as well as meant for each other. That sums me and Gary up completely. Although he was making me a bit crazy the day before, I don't even know what about now LOL
Makeup-- oooh I used to LOVE makeup and I was the same when when I was her age. I still love looking at it, and all of the pretty colors but where the heck do I go to need all of the trendy stuff? And when I do need to get made up, I go upstairs and have Cait do my makeup for me.
Did you ever have any luck with the TracFone? Technology has a mind of its own. For real. Hope that you were able to get in a nap and slept better last night too.

Sara, that park looks beautiful! And your Gallup strengths sound exactly like you-- to a T! Its too bad that you had to pay $10 to find out what you already knew. You rock!
What a bummer about the AC and having to wait so long. Wish that you can get some of our cool air, it was cold again here yesterday, although not as cold as the day before.

Nancy- who are you rooting for for the Cup? My FB feed has been exploding with Go Rangers stuff :)

Good for you Laurie, getting a nice new outfit just for you! Your vaca sounds so relaxing, yay!

Thanks for all of the Happy Anniversary wishes! xo

Good morning had a fun day yesterday. I watch this TV show NHL Live which talks about hockey and they had an ad for the EdwardJones FaceTime chat that I love participating in. We the ad showed past chats and I was one of the faces shown chatting. How funny and cool was that. I stopped the TV to show my husband and of course I took a photo. So today of course I will try and chat again. Going to go out to lunch with my girlfriend so that should be fun. Other than that just scrap.

Chris have fun at the Relay! I think you will find it a great experience! Chris as a Devils fan I cannot be a Rangers fan but as my girlfriend is a die hard Ranger fan I can be happy for her.

Laurie your vacation sounds wonderful!

Have a great day all!

Good morning!

Chris - Just think of it as hanging with a bunch of friends. Don't focus too much on the survivor part! Try and focus on the fun part of it. I might go food shopping today too. It would be nice to do it not on the weekend. We are out of bread. We haven't wanted to cook anything, so we ate a lot of sandwiches this week. But now we are out of bread. It's still too hot to heat things up with the oven or stove.

Laurie - Enjoy your last day of vacation!!!

Nancy - How fun on the chat. I would have totally taken a picture too! That's so funny. I hope to scrap today too.

I have to go pick up some tickets to the Home Run Derby in July and then get a National Parks Pass hopefully to save us a few dollars in South Dakota. But that's all we got today.

We had baseball practice last night and my nephew was a total brat towards the end when we were there. He was pitching and he always gets snarky with the team when he is pitching. He was yelling about strikes and at team members to quit saying things. Then a boy got a hit off of him and he screamed and threw his glove. Then when the next boy up wanted his dad (the coach) to pitch to him instead, Cameron stomped off to the outfield pouting. When the coach started hitting pop flies into the outfield for the kids to catch, one of the boys caught one in front of Cam. So Cam screamed again and threw his glove and stomped to the back of the field and sat down on the grass with his back to the team. Matt went out to talk to him and he was still being a punk. Threw the "You're not my dad" comment out there, screamed and threw his glove again.... (I have a feeling that comment he will use a lot in his life since his dad is a piece of crap.)

I love the rest of the team, but man this makes for awkward times with my sister-in-law. While she was furious that he behaved that way when she got there and Matt and the coach talked to her, it's totally because she did nothing to discipline him until he was in first or second grade. She built this behavior. *sigh* I can be proud though that Ben does not act like that!

I think I am more awake now. I always need about 30 minutes of quiet coffee and computer time before my brain kicks in. During the school year, it's while I shower and get ready because no one else is up. It's harder when husband and child get up with me! LOL

Have a great day ladies! Think cool thoughts for me. It's already 78 in here at 8 a.m. I'm worried how the rest of the day will go!

Chris, good luck with the Relay. you're a perfect example for any good cause, sweetie! i hope you've recovered from the trip back to the Bad Memories. every month, every year will make it easier. TracFone!! who knew that if you didn't keep feeding the little piggy, you can't just pick it up and add minutes if it's been off for a few months? they have to re-register the thing, give you a new phone number and mail you a new SIM card!! so there goes taking an extra phone on vacation!

Sara, i would LOVE to be going to South Dakota again! lucky you! wow, what a scene with your nephew! it must have been hard to watch.

Nancy, i'm guessing a page is getting made with that photo you took of the TV? :becky:

Laurie, maybe we'll pass on the highway on Sunday! sounds like you're having a great time.

today, just tying up some loose ends with getting vacation stuff together, in addition to a random trip to Sam's Club to buy DD an air-conditioner. it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. hope it looks like this when we hit the beach....

have a good one! :becky:
