Daily ooos, friday march 22

Hiiiiii! I am using Gary's tablet to check in and I am not used to the touch screen stuff. My eyes are pretty bad without my contacts too so it is hard for me to see the different parts of the keyboard and screen. But i wanted to say hi to everyone and see how the party is going.
The surgery went fine but the aftercare is going to stink. I have to stay in bed, foot elevated for 7 days. Only out of bed to go to the batbroom. Ugh! But i have books, the tablet, and netflix.
Gary has been amazing, bringing me food and coffee. Poor cait has a really bad cold so she is staying away for the most part although she comes in to pet the dogs.
I read the posts wishing me good luck and i want to thank you all for the good wishes. I am sorry that i cant do personals. Big hugs to everyone!

Welcome back home, Chris!!! :cheer2: Glad you were able to pop in long enough to let us know you are doing okay.

Need to get moving soon... have a lunch at Red Lobster with the church seniors' group. Also have a bunch of errands to run while I am out. It rained off and on the past few days so I stayed inside. Suppose to be clear today so will get those errands done, I hope. Finally put the new ink cartridges in the printer so I can use it again. Have a bunch of LOs I need to print out and some copies I need do. But those will have to wait until later.

Wow... the Birthday Bash is off to a great start! So happy for all who Won Their Wishes. Yes, I got the LO with my purple western outfit in the gallery. Love the All About Me collab from the O Designers.

Morning ladies... Wow a great start to the Party! So glad that you are able to pop in here Chris and let us know that you are doing well!! That will suck to be bedridden for 7 days!! I think I would go squirrly :loco: But good for you for being a good patient so far! Hope Cait's cold clears up fast! I am busy today also, not just with the Birthday stuff here, but I need to wrap a gift for SIL Linda's birthday and get a little something for her three grandchildren that are out visiting right now too. So I will be scouring Winners for a little something for them or maybe the Red Balloon Toy Store downtown. So I really need to get a move on this morning! Have fun at the Party everyone!! I am off to the gallery! :wave:

good day and Happy birthday party at the O. The weather here is the pits. It rained yesterday, all night and still drizzling this morning. Yuck! Luther is in Day care so at least he will be kept busy. I cant tell you how great it is to be able to drive.

Chris thanks for popping in! Wow seven days with leg elevated! have fun with netflix and your books! Glad to hear that your Gary is being so good but not surprised you have a good one! Hope Cait is better soon!

Kay have fun at the lunch. I hope that your weather is clearing so maybe there will be clearing in my area soon.

Trudy have fun shopping for SIL and the grands. And for a while my Devils were able to play with the Bruins but the 3rd period showed just how good your team is!

Yikes, Chris, seven days in bed with elevated foot is not quite what I expected. Squirrelly will be the least of it by the end. So glad the surgery is over though and the ankle can go back to just being an ankle. Hope any pain is under control. Don't apologize for needing others to wait on you (Felis has the right idea about this.) And wishing Cait a speedy recovery too.

Felis and Kay, I love what I've seen of your LOs of yourselves! Have to get into the gallery to comment.

So far this morning it has made a couple of attempts to snow without real success. In contrast I saw four grackles around the yard which is a great sign that spring cannot really be stopped.

Hi all- took my 16.9 lb fat cat to the vet for his annual. The monster (he is at home) was the best and most quiet patient and didn't kill anyone. He needs his teeth cleaned and they took blood to test everything and the sample was bad. Do they realize that lugging around a large cat isn't easy. Looking for a kitty stroller!

DD called me from Japan as she was packing and as I was trying to get the cat out of the cat carrier to weigh him and I had to cut her off. So happy I almost cried. She will be home in 30 hours to visit!

Happy O Birthday- so happy so many wishes were granted!

Chris- glad you checked in-take care

Kay- loved the layout and the purple suit! Hope lunch was nice.

Jean- snow? wow-I am enjoying 73 degrees and sunny with low humidity. This is our spring and should last for about 3 weeks and then summer comes and stays with us until Oct, Nov or December? Who knows? lol

Chris- you are busy with lots of party stuff!

nancy-Luther will enjoy day care with the rain!
