37 Days Until Spring!!!

Good morning my Dear Ooos! Guess what???? It is sunny again and if the forecast is correct we are going to be over 50*!!!!
*covers eyes/sticks fingers in ears* <~ I am ignoring the part where we might get some snow on Sunday

I had a completely boring day yesterday but I feel like I got a lot accomplished. "A lot" is pulling so much weight there but considering how little I had been doing, it was a lot. I worked for hours on cleaning up my fonts. It is a big task but my goal is to make it easier when I scrap. As if that is my only issue when I scrap. hahaha. It is one of many. I am reading a book where the main character is a world-famous artist who is experiencing a creative block. I can relate. Not to the fame and fortune part, thankfully not about having an agent breathing down my next to produce. But the block- yup. I am going through that now. (again)

Not much else happens, I spent some time with Cordelia, just petting her. She sleeps a lot but is so happy in spite of her age. She loved getting treats from me and was chuckling. The babies-- oh wow, they are so rambunctious! I had them out for a while and couldn't get any good pictures cuz they would *not* stay still. They made me feel bad when I put them back in their cage. All three of them were standing up holding on to the cage bars, imploring me to let them back out. All they needed was a tin cup to bang on the bars to complete the image

My mom is coming up today, she made some food for us. It is going to be helpful since I am getting my second shingles shot tomorrow so no one will starve if I don't feel like cooking. The first shot knocked me on my butt. I am hoping that it was bad because I also got my flu shot at the same time, but I have heard that the 2nd shingles shot isn't all that fun.

Geez, it seems like even getting a pee test is complicated these days. Did you get it worked out?

The second that we say W listed on Petfinder is when we went from considering keeping her to being *adamant* that we were. It was like-- No way, that is OUR dog. I am putting money that you will do the same.*wink*

@Cherylndesigns Spongebob is one of the few "kids" cartoons that I find hysterical! I never got into B&B but Spongebob is adorable.
Wish I understood how people like winter - just as much as people wonder how I can enjoy summer. *G*

@mom2triplets04 ((((((((((((((big supportive hugs))))))))))))))))) I had a hysterectomy in 2015 but kept my ovaries. Gyn said that they would slow down more naturally. As for menopause, I wouldn't know, I had my estrogen tested about 2-3 years ago and it was declining but not gone. But considering that mood swings are a normal part of my day, I am not sure I would notice any difference. Especially with talking to my dogs LOL
In all seriousness, I am sorry that you are feeling lonely, it has been a really isolating couple of years and I am sure that your b-day and the kids graduating are only making the emotions more volatile. I hope that you feel better.

@Kythe I had a feeling, I remember Joey needed to be carried a lot and had been slowing down. He seemed like he was a good, good boy.
Thank you for reminding me why I don't; want more cats. Gary is taking a friend to the shelter today to get a new cat. He lost 3 of his 4 in the last 3 years and the 4th is lonely (so is he!). I joked that Gary better not come home with a new one, even though I would adore having a kitten again. But after so many cats peeing in the house (we had several males who after one got a UTI and peed on the floors, all the others got into a literal pissing contest. UGH)
I am sorry that you are dealing with it but DD seems like she is on top of it. Have you tried pheromone spray? That might help them since they have to be stressed.
Oh man, that sounds awful with some of the condo people being bullies.

@BrightEyes Shingles twins!! Haha! How are you feeling? Please tell me that the 2nd shot isn't so bad. Although you had such bad reactions to the covid vax too. Then again, so did I. hmmmph.
Your LO was amazing and heartfelt, you deserve to be lauded for that <3

Uhhh, I'm not able to buy scrapbook kits or have any intention to scrap at the next few months, which means that my membership for the forum is also temporarily expired, I guess.
I couldn't go more wrong about this year! January really sucks! But then it will be really pathetic and silly to complain, knowing through what have to go Rae. Let's just say that I'm thinking for all of you and I'll be around time to time.

Morning, gals. Decided to pop in here early. I slept really well last night - and no fever in the area where I got my shingles shot. Maybe the preventative Nsaid pill helped. The arm is sore but that is to be expected. Decided I would make this a PJ day... and take it easy all day.

Chris, will be hoping that you don't have a bad reaction to the Shingles shot. I am really enjoying the Count down to Spring... puts a smile on my face seeing them each morning. I need to winnow down the fonts I have on the computer, too. Way too many of them that I will never use.

Linda, saw the photo of you and your friend on FB. Looks like you were happy to be together.

Felis, the membership here at OS does not expire just because you are not buying new supplies. Everyone is welcome to use kits from OS designers that are still in the shop. I really like the new "Fab Fridays" when the designers feature some of their older kits for sale.

Rhonda, sending you a gentle <<< hug >>>. Hope that creating LOs will bring you some pleasure and give you something to get your mind off the pain you are living with. Glad to have you on the team.

Trudy... so sorry to hear about your friend passing away. FOG... UGH!!! I would rather deal with snow rather than fog. Thanks for sharing the photo of your non-view of the lake. Glad you enjoyed the hike.

Cheryl, we are also having a bit of a warm spell... got up to 56* yesterday. Will be a yo-yo in temps with the next few fronts coming through over the next week. Hope the weather isn't too bad for you, either. Had to LOL about you getting down under the desk then wondering what you were doing there!!! BTDT... Glad you were able to get up without problems.

I'm feeling better today, but when I was going to do some scrapping, my brain just felt totally moshy, like I don't even know how to open a file. Better wait till tomorrow and stick to Youtube today.

Morning everyone, quick in and out of here for me again today. DH is home from work and we are just about to head out the door for a walk and then some running around to purchase a couple of things. Got my grocery order yesterday and there were 6 things on my list that I did not get grrr!! Now I need to try a few other places to see if I can get them. Oh well its a nice sunny day, so I will enjoy the bright sunshine! DH and I are going to get the front porch all cleaned up and get the new furniture out there so maybe we can enjoy a nice cup of coffee.
Sorry I will try to get some personals done later on today, but no promises!!
