Good morning, O-zies!!!! I am so glad to see the sun shining, the past two days of grey and gloom kinda did me in. (Not going to mention that it's really cold out there. Ooops, guess I did mention it *winks*)
I had a great day yesterday- great moments in my day really. I was able to order the planters, some mulch, potting soil, and tomato cages from the Tractor Supply store. They were ready to be picked up in an hour, all I had to do was drive 2 minutes to have them tossed into the car. I was literally there and back in 10 minutes. Curbside pick-ups are one of the things I really hope sticks around post-pandemic. The prices for the stuff were really good too, the planters were more than half the price of what I found at Amazon and Home Depot. Even though it was raining, it was a huge step forward to spring. I also saw that I have one daffodil that bloomed. Literally-- One. That is in addition to my one hyacinth. I really want to start seeing some color. Hurry up, Spring!
The other really great part of my day was that I got a vax appt for Scott!!! *happy dances* NJ opened the eligibility to people who work in Public Safety and he is going to be working at County Parks keeping the public safe so we discussed it and he agreed that it would be a good decision. to do it now. I was refreshing the Vaccine Bot on Twitter when I saw at 2 pm my county was opening up a new site at 2 pm. Scott and I logged in on our own computers as soon as the website went live but you had to make an account first- I must have gotten in a split second before him because he groaned at the same time he heard me yelling Arggh!!! Then he shouts down to me if I made a password because he was locked out. I had, so he ran down and we finished the appt up together. He goes on Wed 7th, same time as Gary goes for his second. And the awesome news for him is that he is getting J&J so the three of us will be fully vaccinated in less than three weeks. Poor Cait has to wait- her second dose is the 20th
The not-so-ideal issue is that the three of us might be dealing with a reaction all at the same time and Caitlyn has to have a minor medical procedure on that Friday. and she is going to be recovering a few days afterward. It is going to make the next 2 weeks pretty "interesting" around here.
Not much happening here, I cleaned the LR/DR/kitchen yesterday and I think today I will do the bathrooms. Wishing everyone a fab day!
