Daily Ooo's: August 17-18, Weekend Edition

I slept goooooood last night. I woke up a little after 6 am, freaked out for a second that my alarm hadn't gone off, then remembered it was Saturday. Got in another hour or so of sleep and here I am

Yesterday Gary and I had a huge blow out. It was bound to happen, and I was MAD. I don't usually curse, but you could have heard the F-Bombs flying a mile away. But I stormed off to the lake and chilled for a couple of hours and I feel better. I am not sure if anything was resolved, but when I got home, the dishwasher was emptied and the dishes in the sink were washed. He was mad that I said that i would babysit my friend's son (same kid I have been watching for the last 2 school years) but this would be every morning at 6:45 where before it was occasionally 6:45, other days 7:30 and usually only 4 days a week. So b/c I didn'task him if this was ok he was mad at me. Its money that we need and while I am very sorry that I didn't run it past him, its not like I could turn the $$ down. Such a mess. And with neither of us feeling well, it escalated as only a Lymie fight can. :/

Today is the day I have got to clean my house. Have to. Have to have to.

And it should be nice weather all day so I would love to do a bit more yard work.

Please tell me all of your fun plans for the weekend!

oooooh Laurie- you are brave out there in the cold grass barefoot! Did you get a goot shot of it at least?

Phyllis- oh yeah, I was cold at the lake when the sun went behind the clouds, but the sun felt goooood when it was out. I have woods and mountains here if you want to come to NJ. However, Trudy's home and area looks gorgeous!
I hope that you didn't overdo it for your body with the yard work. That hands and knees stuff can hurt when you are done.

Nancy- hoping that your cold goes away quickly. I have to check out your gallery soon to see all of those lovely vacation pics!

Laurie- wow!!!!!! What a romantic guy you have! I loved the wedding oic you posted too

Good Afternoon Chris and the rest of the O fam!! We had dance lessons and now I am moving onto, scrapping, laundry, weeding, beginning to plan a budget (yikes) and who knows what else the weekend will bring!

Hey ladies... I am baacckk!! Very tired and I have a bad cold. Those grandkids are little petrie dishes aren't they?? Today I am in clean up mode and putting all the toys, beds and extra dishes back into storage and getting all the :washing: done. There is a huge pile of it!! Just Gary and I and of course Heather (DD) and little sweet Mason with us for the next couple of weeks. Things are much quieter and a lot less hectic, but oh did we have fun!! So many pics and stories to tell you, but I will have to sift through my stash of photos and hopefully get caught up with all of you in the gallery tomorrow. Just wanted to say hey and so glad to be back at it again! :wave:

Trudy!, you're back! sounds like your day was a lot like mine, after The Grandmen left. sounds like you had a lovely time, and you still get to have MORE time with Mason!

DD's coming out for dinner today. gonna make homade pizza, i think. and i'm gonna enjoy this beautiful weather, while it lasts! hope the sun' shining and the sky is blue where you are. enjoy the day. :becky:

Well morning to you Phylis- I just woke up at 520- but we are headed to early church, so that is ok. Hoping for another beautiful day, but time will tell! I want to keep weeding my flower beds and make some gifties for my friend Anna's girlies for tomorrows visit! Oh and take some pics of my own!

Its looking a bit cloudy here today so I hope that I can scrap a bot? The mojo is still G-O-N-E gone, but I have a Sept Challenge to prep for so I am going to try and force it a bit and see what happens.

I cleaned my house, downstairs, and did two loads of laundry, then pooped myself out. So I have a bit more to work on today. Then my poor MIL called to chat. I hadn't talked to her since I got back from vacation. Poor thing, asked how it was going and I unloaded. My dog lost a tooth Friday and I noticed another one is lose so I have to take her to the vet. That is going to be tres expensive. Gary's insulin pump broke while I was away and to get a new one is only covered 80% by Medicare so our responsibility would be $1100!!!!! If he trades in his broken one, we get $500 off. Well, that helps a bit but still!!!! And if Scott gets his license on Tuesday (or whenever) our car insurance is going to skyrocket. I don't know if NJ is the highest in the nation for car ins. but it is up there and since he is male and under 25, he will have the highest rate.
Add in that the kids see their Lyme dr tomorrow -- $700 for the visit plus any blood work that he needs to send to a special lab-- and you can see why I am fried Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

They say that money doesn't buy happiness but it sure would help my stress levels :laugh:

good morning! It is 9 am and I just finished breakfast! My cold is getting better final but still coughing which sucks. Yesterday though I did a good do bee deed. My girlfriend's daughter and husband just moved in to their new home and ask for help painting the upstairs bedrooms. So I went and it was fun but I found out I am slow LOL. I am not really do it yourself kinda girl. But always good to help the next generation. I am a bit sore today but not as bad I had thought I might be. LOL

Chris sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself and your decisions and have that fight. You go girl.

Laurie have fun in your garden and take some great photos.

Phylis have a fun dinner with your DD. Home made pizza sounds wonderful. My hubby is making pulled pork for our dinner and it smells so good.

Trudy welcome back and sorry about your cold. Glad you had such fun with all the kids. Cant wait to see some pages.

Morning ladies... ugghhh this cold is not going anywhere fast!! Just got Mason from his mommy and told her to go back to sleep for a bit. So grandpa and I are off for a walk with our little man. Then its shopping later on with DD and Grandpa will baby sit and have some alone time with him. So nice to see how excited my MG is with his grand babies !! Right now he is talking and coooing with Mason and loving every second!! LOL

Chris - My dear friend, I wish I had a million dollars to give to you and your family. Damn money!!! There really is never enough is there? I know that you will be alright, you are a fighter and you will figure it out! But I wish I could help you out truly I do!!

Phylis - Ugghhh up so early again!! I have been so exhausted these past couple of weeks that I crash when I hit the pillow, but still wake up a few times a night, just can't get a break!! Hope your sleep tonight is much better and enjoy that summer sunshine while its still around!! Enjoy your time with your DD!!

Laurie - What kind of gifties are you making for your friends girls?? Something with your fabulous machine that you got?? You will have to let us see what you come up with! Enjoy your day!!

Nancy - Sorry that you are suffering with this cold too!! It just won't leave me and I coughed most of the night last night too!! So much mucus!!! Yuck!!!! So nice that you helped out the younger ones. I hate to paint walls!! So good on you!! I am sure that they appreciated the help!

Well I better go get dressed and get Mason out for a walk, its nice and sunny so far, but the clouds are looming nearby and someone needs their diaper changed before we go. Enjoy your Sunday everyone!! I know I will!!
