I an excited to be hosting the Scraplift Challege for October. This is my first time hosting the challenge and I can’t wait to see what y’all do with the challenge.

For the scraplift challenge this month, I am going to give you two layouts to lift and create a single page. You can choose the colors from one page and the theme from another. Maybe you like the way papers were used on one page and the element placement from another. How you combine them is up to you. But you should use inspiration from both layouts on your page.

Here are the two layouts we are lifting this month.

From Scrapbookmama

From marijke

When posting your layout, please include how you used both layouts in your page. I think combining these two layouts will result in some awesome pages and I am excited to see how these pages inspired you.

Here is some inspiration from the Cheery-Os.

From Me
The three piece background is from the top layout. The colors and use of circles was inspired by the bottom layout.

From Chris
I used the color palette of the top, design of the bottom.

From Diane
I used the horizontal lines/elements from the first layout and the central cluster from the second layout and moved it to the side (because of my vertical page size) and used the new vibrant collab

I saw that you wanted to know why I call my kitty Catzilla. Her real name is Heather. She is a very soft colored calico and has a beautiful face. However, she is gi-normous! Has to be about 14 lbs. She is also a pain in the butt. She loves to be all over you, will lay on top of your face when trying to watch TV or sleep. She rolls on my keyboard when I am trying to type and lays on my tablet when I am trying to scrap. So-- Catzilla :D

I have a huge cat like that as well. Constantly wants attention and is very vocal if not receiving it. lol His name is Cocoa, but I call him Coquisimo cause he is so huge.

Here is my scraplift. From LO 1 I copied the split background being divided by an element. From LO 2 I copied the single photo in a large metal frame. Hope you like it!

I used the big flower clusters idea from Scrapbookmama's page & the center-weighted, artsy design & title below the cluster of marijke's page:

I noticed the flowers first and then the baby and all the green which made me think of green gardens and the sweetness of little children. Thanks so much for the inspiration.

Here is mine, a companion to challenge 1

Inspiration from page #1 was the frame arrangement and the fact that those are not frames but mats... so much faster! and the string Inspiration from page #2 was the clustering behind the photos and the brushes

Beautiful pages! I'm seeing so many different layouts lifted from the original two. I love it!
