Blog - Office 2000 problem

Everytime I want to open a blog website. Including the O-blog, I get this little screen that wants to install something from Office 2000.
It tells me after a few seconds I need to insert the cd's, which -ofcourse- I don't know where they are:fish:

Does anybody know what I can do about it to stop showing the screen, (other than installing LOL )

it would help if you said what it wants to install. What browser are you using? I can probably help you if you let me know.

Oh yes! That is the info I totally forgot about!

It starts with: Windows is busy with cofiguring Microsoft Office 2000 Premium.

Next screen: The function that you want to use is on a cd-rom or a different EHD that is not available. Put in the disc and click oke.

I'm using Internet Explorer.

I have windows xp. And not updated. Because when I updated the first few times, my laptop crashed. Eversince the computer-guy fixed it, and disabled the updates, it's not updated. I started thinking that maybe causes the problem?

I have a similar problem with office, I just click the x or cancel!

I use office 2003 and office 2007 is preinstalled on my computer, so when I open a worddocument it automatically wants to install 2007. I just cancel it.
I only happens when I open a worddocument by double clicking on the docment.
So now I am used to opening 2003 word first and then open my document, that is no problem.

I just bought office 2010, but am waiting for a new laptop!

Diane, Do you have this also when you visit blog sites?
Or the blog here at Oscraps?

It's annoying me! LOL I'll try and find the cd's tomorrow.

No, not at blogs, just for MS office.

Do you have CDs, laptops and computers don´t come with many cd´s anymore!
