Hi, scrapinmom (sharonb) here to host the border challenge this month. Borders can make a page stand out and can be simple with a few elements or very decorative with lots of elements.

This month, at the Northern Hemisphere, we are heading back to school and trying to get our last bit of summer. Your layout should be about a great getaway (like going to the beach, pool, or lake) or maybe where you are you do something else, like go hiking, to a park or attraction. It's your choice. Let's go somewhere! This month I am going to the beach!

I did 2 layouts this month because I wanted to show you how easy making a border can be. This first one, using natali's collection Good Days, I made a border using just a cluster and overlay. I added a picture and WA and I was done in minutes.

The second border is created by me with different elements, overlays, masks and word art:

I have border envy! I really really really struggle with them! But I am going to challenge myself to be inspired by the layouts posted in this thread and come up with something for this challenge.

Hope the pattern of the paper doesn't interfere with the border effect.
