Challenge #7 Border Challenge
Host Kythe

Borders are elements that can make a page stand out. They can be simple with paper strips and a few embellishments or complex with an assortment of elements. April’s challenge is for you to create a border for your layout. The style of layout is entirely up to you as long as the border fits the requirements. (No premade borders please)

Because the old rhyme says ‘April showers brings May flowers’, my challenge for you is to make a border with at least 3 or more different varieties of flowers. The border may include whatever else you like such as ephemera, ribbons, buttons, or even tools if you like. Any direction of border will do but it must cover one entire side or a centre diagonal of the page.

My example was created with: Daydreams Designs Yesterday Once More
- create a layout with a border that you have designed (no pre-made borders please)
- the border must have at least 3 different varieties of flowers
- the border must cover one entire side or a centre diagonal of the page.
- Please use 80% Oscraps products.
- You need to credit all the products used on your layout.
- Your page must be posted in the Challenge 7 gallery by midnight April 30 2023 and linked back to this thread (see below on how to add your linked layout).
- And do not forget to update the CURRENT MONTH'S TRACKING THREAD to be eligible for your coupon.
Adding a linked layout from the Gallery to a thread:
1. Upload your layout to the gallery first. In your forum post click the Gallery Embed icon (little camera).
2. This will open your gallery, simply click on the layout you require, then scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Continue button.
3. Your linked layout is now in your post, the image will appear once you have clicked the Post Reply button.

Thanks for the challenge. Has to be fantasy thinking with the snow we've had, to be putting flowers on my pages. :D
My goodness but both borders are scrumptious! Thanks for taking the challenge and starting it off so brilliantly.

Thanks for a great challenge! I enjoying putting this together.

Daisies are such happy flowers. You have created a delightful Spring topper! I like the way the image is matted on the ripped paper and tucked up top.
