Hello aArtists!
It’s time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. The AnnaTeam selects a creative page or design concept from the Anna gallery as the ‘AnnaLift.’ Be inspired, create your own ‘AnnaLift,’ upload your page to the Anna gallery and include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday, August 23, 2024 by 8:00 pm EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift. ’ One lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop.
HOW IT WORKS: For this challenge, we are “lifting” the colors from a design in the AnnaGallery. See the Challenge Rules for this Crossover Challenge.
These colors appear in a design by Mielz - L’ocean.
Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.
If you’ve never challenged yourself to an AnnaLift—just do it!

L'océan, Mielz
In L'océan, Mielz creates a dynamic composition with her use of the space. The focal image creates a horizon for the ship. The ocean is a mix of soft grey, beige and accents of aqua. The imagery becomes a scene of a small boat at sea. Pieces of frayed fabric suggest the movement of the waves. Soft clouds are created in watercolor washes. The scene is contained by a large white frame. Tiny fish are at home in the waves while birds gather around the sail. Shells and a stapled title complete the artistry.

- You must use at least three of the challenge colors. . .
- You must use a large mask. . .
- You must include the following elements: a frame, a cluster, and a title. Each item must be in the design, but they are your choice and style.
- You can add other products to suit your style and theme: textures, artsy transfers, splatters, etc
