It’s Saturday, and time for another challenge from Anna Aspnes. Each Saturday the AnnaTeam selects one creative page from the Anna gallery as the weekly ‘AnnaLift.’ Check out the inspiration page and decide what speaks to you. Is it the design, the color, the wordART, or maybe the photo? Choose ONE idea from the page to lift or choose it ALL and lift it completely. There is no right or wrong way to ArtPlay. Be inspired and create your ‘AnnaLift’ and then upload your page to the Anna gallery, plus include it here in this forum thread. Upload your page by Friday 4.8.16 by NOON EST with the title, ‘AnnaLift ’ and one lucky participant will be randomly selected to win a $5.00 GiftKard to Anna’s shop. The winner will be posted each Friday here in the forum.

Anna’s products mix well with so many kits/designers and Anna welcomes you to include these with your Anna Products on your AnnaLift page.

I couldn't help but notice multiple layouts in the gallery this week that were multi-photo layouts, using a large background photo, and included smaller framed photos as well. I loved how well put together these pages were in really telling the story with the use of the multiple photos. Each used wonderful textures and/or stains to enhance their pages as well as text and elements. I love how the subtle colors in each layout really adds to, and solidifies the page design. There is nothing better than a multiple page layout to really tell our scrapping story, as these three layouts do.

I am so anxious to see what everyone creates, as you never disappoint with the lifts you create, so it is now up to you to choose just what you want to lift from this page. You may choose to lift a single element of the layout, or lift it all - whatever grabs you and takes hold of you when you look at this layout. Have some fun with it - I am sure the results will be awesome – remember anything goes, as long as you are having fun!!!

This week’s AnnaLift will inspire all of us in some way. Maybe you will choose to:

-add some brushwork, and texture
-include some text or journaling

Joanie - thanks so much for including my page for lifting! you are so right sometimes one photo just can't tell the story so love Anna's multiple photo templates - can't wait to see more pages!

oops, I only remembered multiple photos and forgot about the big background one but at least I've got another 2 pages for the album done. Thanks for the challenge.

Since this is my comfort zone, here is another from the Mission Inn trip... this is on the Mall that runs down one side... one of those places where they closed the street and made a place to walk and sit, and shop...etc....

This Roman Abbey Church of Issoire ( France) was build in the 11th century.
We are accustomed to visit churches with all white pillars, walls and ceilings. In fact those churches where often brightly painted at the inside. In this monastic church the original colours were restored in the 19th century. There are also quite some stained glass windows that create nice swatches of coloured light across the walls and the floor and make the visit of this monument really interesting.
