Just getting started so I don't forget this weekend, like I almost forgot my anniversary, which is tomorrow! We have too many holidays at the beginning of the year!

Right after new year is our wedding anniversary, a week later my hubby's birthday, a week later my birthday, a week later Valentine's day, and 2 weeks later my daughter's birthday.
I'm gonna have a lot of pages to cover Jan and Feb!

Feeling at hOme!
Last week was quite a routine, but I enjoyed a really good time with some friends for a late lunch on Saturday... and took some pictures for this week's layout!

I still have to add some photos for two special days touring San Francisco and Carmel, but the basic stories are done :) I'm definitely getting faster.

Another tip I picked up from Anna's 5-step process is to copy the pictures into a temp folder. Sometimes it's hard to troll through the whole month, so having a smaller folder helps, then once a picture is placed, I delete it from the folder and I can better see what I have left to do.

Diane, I think the pages of your PL are wonderful. Clearly you're enjoying the new latitude for expression. I'm afraid I really need the structure of a photo a day to keep me going, so that's still where I am in P365.

Thank you Jean! I am enjoying it, but it was tough the first week! I'm a little afraid I will end up with a $500 tome! :)

I am so glad to see you continuing! I so enjoy your pages...lovely blues and composition and the stories flow so nicely!

Sometimes I get so into the pictures I don't leave room for enough journaling.

Just love these Rita as you know from the gallery :)

I am intrigued by the triangular masks...may have to try that this year :)

Wonderful pages Heather, and so much journaling, which is great...while pictures tell stories, we are apt to not remember the details unless we write them!

I'm finished with the extra 'special' stories that I needed to add to week 3.

I know this may be overkill, but I am really happy with all these stories and pages :)

Lindy I love how you use artsy cards (or transfers, can't quite tell) to add color and texture, and your word art...makes the pages so artsy and beautiful.

Lilja you have such great perspective in your pics...love seeing these little slices of life!

I used Anna's Forester ArtPlay Palette, and ExLibris stitching for this week's layout. I have so much fun layering all her transfers & overlays to create my own unique backgrounds.
