We had to travel across the world for a family wedding a matter of weeks after buying a house and temporarily had NO money or credit. Ended up in Hong Kong on a stopover sharing one can of cold baked beans for dinner! Still a fun couple of days though ;-)

On a trip to Sydney with a friend just after I met DH. Mostly memorable because of an across-the-cafe flirtation with a local actor who later went on to star in one of the biggest movies of the 1990s/ ever. I don't think my daughters believe me … ;-)
