My oldest son drove down to Buc-ee's with his wife this summer...looks like I am the only one that has not been to the new store now but think I can live with that LOL
My grand-daughter checked out the recently newly opened Buc-ee's store. From the Aug Challenge #2 MoodBoard I used a heart from #1, flowers-#9, stacked shelving in my photo-#4, paints - #10 and circles from #3.
Challenge #1 - Through the Lens
Although I was not born and raised in Butler County, I have lived here since 1999 and am proud to claim Morgantown my hometown.
Realized for AnnaColor Challenge, using "mini palette Stravage" by Anna Aspnes
and "52 inspirations 2021" (LorieDavison-idgie-Simplette-VivaAtistry-VickiStegall).
July Challenge #5 - Occasions & Themes
Lots of fun with blending using masks & transfers. I also used different styled elements to experiment & I hope look fun.
July Challenge #2 - Lyrics/Poems
I’m not how you can sing all that, I definitely can’t say it.
Jic you are interested in “Albatraoz”, i had to google it.

July Challenge #3 - Recipe
Im in winter & rain so I wanted to use the challenge to create a nice dream of summer. Mild weather, not too hot. Of course. Umbrella jic…
In the credits are the links & below that I listed what I used from each pack & hope the items I used we within the recipe...
I used Vicki's Fab Friday products to make a greeting card, journal card w/envelope and I printed & cut out all her word snippets and tucked them in a little pouch to add to my journal, to use throughout.
“Where be the haze” is the line & word I used for inspiration for this challenge. Haze went to purple haze. There are a lot of theories about the influence of this song but the one I love is that the song came from a dream Jimmy Hendrix had was about being able to walk under the ocean.
This was completed for the colour challenge, it is the second one. I created both in tandem but was surprised when I looked & saw I finished this one as well. Fully dressed lady getting hot in the sun. She looks a bit steam punk to me.
I would love to see a different place. It’s still a dream at the moment. I thought I’d try a retro style poster for fun. I used a lot of brushes, mainly by Anna Aspnes Designs & created the palette from the palette in the challenge. I painted the elements with native watercolour brushes.
